My goals for this weekend is to order our guestbook and sand ceremony stuff. FI and I were working on the music playlists last night for the pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception music. We are almost done with that and that was a big project. Music is really important to my FI since he used to be a drummer in a local band so he took ownership of this part of the wedding. I also need to get a couple more things for my BM swag bags, but am taking my FMIL shopping today for a dress to wear to the wedding so I'm hoping I will find a couple things. I was thinking I wanted to add in beach towels that I can get once the summer stuff starts going on clearance. They could use them, but they are also a big item that will help fill up the beach bags I got them. I want to get them some sort of case or something to put the jewelry in (my cousin is making necklaces and earrings for each of them) and also thought of possibly getting each of them a cover up to wear in Mexico, what do you think? They are already getting a personalized beach bag, picture album, Bath & Body Works gift set, jewelry, flip flops and I paid for their BM dresses. Also, has anyone started to think about dress alterations? I don't know when I should make an appointment to start that process.

I made my own invitations and my colors are pink and green with ivory. I ot the petal invites in a shimmery ivory and the rest of the cardstock was in pink and green, including the envelopes and I tied it with pink and green ribbon. I got all the paper from Paper Source, and they have a ton of different colors. You can definitely mix and match the paper and envelope colors to fit in with your color scheme. There is also a site paperandmore or something along that line that has a ton of different cardstock and paper that you could order. I needed to see it person so going to Paper Source worked better for me and they had colors that matched our BM dresses perfectly so that was a bonus. Good luck!

I had budgeted $150 for each BM to pay for their BM dresses, but I only have 2 BMs and a flower girl. I didn't tell them I was paying for the dresses, and ended up finding dresses that were way less than what I budgeted for them. I bought the dresses for the girls, and am putting the extra money towards more gifts for them. I have been a BM in many weddings, and have always had to pay for the dress myself. However, since my girls were already spending money on the trip itself I figured it was the least I could do to buy their dress. I also bought them flip flops and am having jewelry made to wear with the dress. Depending on how much the jewelry ends up costing I may get them a gift certificate to the spa at the resort that they can use for whatever they want.

I can't do a pull up to save my life. I never have been able to, not even one. I can only do about 2 push ups before my arms buckle. I am so pathetically out of shape!

I would just add some tissue paper. You have a lot of great stuff in there already, and if you are adding water bottles those will take up a lot of room as well.

Adesso albums is selling a package with the guestbook, camera and film while supplies last. They also have a digital picture guestbook album so you can add pictures in later. I think I might go this route since I think it will be easier, and then I don't have to worry about getting everyone's picture taken with the polaroid.
