It was pure luck trust me. They just happened to have colors the colors I wanted and sizes that would fit my BMs. I planned on buying my BMs dresses so I budgeted $150 for each. That allowed me to get better gifts for them, but I'm not done with those yet. I'm getting them a bunch of stuff, and calling them by BM swag bags!

You would have to decide if that is something you want to pay for, or have that be their responsibility if they choose not to stay at the Lindo or Maya. The Grand is the most expensive and is adults only, but if your guests stay there they can go to any of the hotels without needing a pass.

I like the suit. where did you get it? a couple of weeks ago my fi started to look at tan linen suits for the wedding and i just looked at him and said "I had to fight with you to wear a long sleeve shirt and now you want to wear a suit." I think i could of killed him, he was such a baby about having to wear long sleeves. I had to walk away from him when he was looking at suits or i might of smacked him. lol Let me just tell you that I got the best deal on the wedding party clothes. The dresses and tie are from Ann Taylor Celebrations line, and I got them on clearance. The dresses were $28 or $32 (I can't remember) and the shipping was only $10. I got an extra green dress for a flower girl dress to be made, otherwise I might just look for a flowergirl dress. Most I have seen have been pricey so I think it might cheaper to have one made. I got FI and our dads the ties for around the same price. They were regular price, but I had a 25% off coupon. The suit is from Kohl's and we got that on sale too. It is the Chaps brand and is 100% cotton, and I think we got it for $130 ($200 regular). My FI plans on only wearing the jacket for ceremony and pics. He is wearing a long sleeve white shirt, but will probably roll up the sleeves after. He was complaining about the heat and wearing a suit, but I talked him into it.

If you look at the gallery at Weddingtropics, you'll see what I mean regarding the mitch match pants and shirts blending together. My dress is ivory too. My FI is wearing a tan suit with white shirt, and the best man and ring bearers are wearing tan/khaki pants and white shirts. I figured that would be the best option to go with ivory. My BMs are wearing pink and green dresses with ivory flip flops.
  6. Holy shit is right. I need to get my ass in gear-and to the gym!!!
  7. I was watching these movies all morning, but I stopped with the one where the girl sleeps with the fake priest and switched over to We to watch their platinum weddings and bridezillas. I got absolutely nothing accomplished today, but it has been the first day that I haven't had some kind of event going on and I wanted to relax so I don't feel bad.
  8. Great review! I loved your cake and I like the shell and sand idea for the sand ceremony. I may be stealing both of those ideas.
  9. Welcome back Morgan! Great pics and I'm sure this will help out future catalonia brides.

I think I am going to have cups sewn into my dress since I think that will be easiest the way my dress is cut. I haven't decided what to wear on the bottom. I guess I will have to see how much weight I will lose before I have to go for alterations, and determine if I need some extra help to suck in the fat rolls! Ha Ha! As for the seating chart with kids, I would probably seat them with their parents. That is what I am planning to do.

He was good, and I was mad they didn't pick him either. I watched the end of last season when they replayed it one weekend, but had never watched the show prior. I started watching this season from the beginning, but I have to say I think the routines were better last season at least so far. There have been a couple good ones, but none that have really blown me away. Although I did watch the episodes towards the end of the season so I'm guessing they get better towards the end. They are all still really great dancers though. I wish I could dance half as good!
  12. That place looked so cute! You and your FI are adorable together. Those chocolate boxes were awesome.
  13. I didn't look through all the posts, but anything Disney Princess is usually a hit. The dress up outfits or the dolls, tea set, etc.
  14. Congrats! It is a great house. I love the kitchen and the tile. The colors are really nice.
