    I think its totally a personal choice. There are a lot of brides now days that like to include their FI in choosing a dress. If thats something you would like then I say go for it! I don't think it will ruin the moment of him seeing you on your wedding day either. You will be completely done up on your wedding day and likely when you go dress shopping will be a year or so before your wedding so he'll probably hardly even remembe what the dress looks like.

    I would definitely still send them invites seperately. The person who you aren't so close to anymore will likely back down and it won't be awkward.

    I think this is totally a personal decision. I live with my FI and I agree that I don't sleep as well with him but I really want the first time he sees me on my wedding day to be when I walk down the aisle so I don't plan on spending the night together. Plus I remember my sisters wedding a bridesmaid and me (MOH) stayed in the room with her and it was so much fun!

    I think you're totally right about this if you only try on a knock-off dress you will be happy but if you try on the same dress the desiner made it won't be the same. Especially when it comes to Maggie Sottero, the quality of her dresses are amazing! I am definitely buying a maggie sottero dress and then I'm going to buy a knockoff of the same dress for my TTD pictures.

    I've been thinking about this but I think since I'm doing OOT bags I won't bother doing favors. I'm also having an AHR so I will be doing favors there.

    Mine isn't till 2012 either but I wanted to get templates so badly so I posted like crazy. Now that I have got the templates I'm already going DIY crazy. I'll have everything done probably like a year in advance if I keep going like this! Its just so much fun.

    Are you still not planning on wearing your rings on your trip home? If you're wearing your rings it should be no problem. I hadn't thought of not wearing my engagement ring to keep it clean. I'll probably wear it anyways, doesn't matter too much to me.
