Pros: Everything!
Cons: I couldn't stay longer!
This group has given me so much advice and been so extremely helpful I wanted to leave my review to help others! I got married at Now Sapphire Jan, 20th 2017 with 59 guests. I used Unique Romance Travel & Destination Weddings as a TA and would recommend Carla to anyone. She helped us narrow down our search and helped to get the best group rate and extra perks as possible. Sorry for it being so lengthy! Juan Carlos was my WC and I cannot speak more wonderful things about him! He was quick to

Our wedding was at 3pm on Nov 16, 2016 on the Tequila Terrace, with cocktail hour to follow at 6pm than dinner served at 7:30 pm and cutting the cake around 830pm. We also paid for the extra hour so our reception went till 11pm. We had the Divine Package, and all events were on the Tequila Terrace.   The Spa: I had myself and 3 girls with me, we had the spa to ourselves. Upon arrival there was a tray of fruit, juices, water and mimosas waiting for us. Each girl had their own hairdresser/make
Pros: Beautiful location, Professional Staff, Stress-Free Experience
Cons: Communication was slow via email. The photographer that came with the package wasn't very good.
We got married on April 1, 2016 at 5:00 in the evening on the beach. Our reception was on the Tequila Terrace. It was absolutely perfect!   The communication via email takes longer than expected, but that was understandable when we got to the resort and saw how hard the coordinators are working to make each couple feel special. Completing the planning sheet in great detail well before the trip, as they suggest, made for much less stress and planning when we got to the resort. We used the resor
Pros: Beach, Pool, Bars and FOOD AMAZING!

Sannella Wedding – Now Sapphire, Riviera Maya MX May 6, 2016 We spent over a week on our wedcation with 38 of our friends and family. While it was a busy and fast week, we absolutely LOVED all the vendors we chose for our wedding, and could not have been happier with the service they provided. They truly all went above and beyond to make our day as special as possible. We booked our wedding through Destination Weddings on a whim. We were still brainstorming where exactly we wanted to have our

Pros: Food, Service, Cleanliness
Cons: A bit of seaweed
I stayed at Now Sapphire with a total of 32 people for my wedding on 4 May 2016. My family stayed 1-8 May and we stayed 1-15 May to include our honeymoon. To sum up our 2-week vacation - we did NOT want to leave! We absolutely loved every minute at this resort.  A bit about our stay in general: The #1 thing that most impressed all of us was the food. I loved everything I ate! The a la cartes do not take reservations, so if you favour one, you can eat there every night if you wish. At the busi

A well coordinated and organized team at a world-class resort. For my Persian-American destination wedding in Cancun choosing my wedding at the NOW Sapphire Resort was the best decision my husband and I ever made.   When having a destination wedding and a family from all over the world, it was important to have a place that was just the right size where it felt intimate and authentic for my world guests. My fiancé (now husband) were looking for a Mediterranean style resort with arches that touch

If you're looking for the perfect destination wedding, this is the place to go! We started planning our wedding a little over a year in advance for our 2/26/16 wedding and my now husband found this resort by the great reviews. We did alot of research looking for the perfect place and I'm so grateful we decided to book here. The process is a little confusing at first considering you are trying to plan a wedding thousands of miles away without seeing anything, but with the help of our Wedding Coor

I picked the Now Sapphire without ever visiting the resort and mostly based on reviews, thankfully I made I great decision. This resort was absolutely amazing each step of the way. Honestly the best part of this experience was working with Ramon who made sure every part of the wedding was executed flawlessly. Ramon made sure my Thursday Night White Night Dress Rehearsal dinner was perfect and went to every end to assure my wedding day was BEYOND AMAZING. I wouldn't have done it any other way. Th

Pros: Pool, pool bar, rooms, staff
Cons: Ocean has lots of seaweed in it
It took quite a lot of research to finally choose Now Sapphire as our wedding destination. And once we arrived we knew we made the right decision. We had 50 guests and everyone felt like royalty. People that have traveled all over the world said this was their favorite place! The pool is gorgeous and always entertainment there...and pool bar!? How could you go wrong?? The bartenders were all super friendly and make the BEST coconut mojitos! One day they told us they actually ran out of mint B

Pros: Juan Carlos, Hotel Staff/Service, pool, food
Cons: Seaweed on Beach but nothing else!
Hi Brides/Grooms!   My wedding was Sunday, June 21, 2015 so just about 6 weeks ago and I can say it was honestly one of the best weekends of my life. My wedding wasn’t a typical one – I had an Indian/American fusion wedding with 3 nights of events! The first night was a Welcome Party, second night was the Indian (Sangeet) Night, and Third and final of events was a traditional American wedding. I had 96 people in attendance it was so much fun and everybody has raved and raved about it. If ther

Pros: Juan Carlos, Tequila Terrace, cake, DJ, decorations, weather
Cons: It was over so fast :(
Juan Carlos was by far the best wedding planner ever.  I could not have planned my wedding without him.  From the moment I made the reservation for our wedding, up to the days after the wedding, he was perfect.  I had read reviews on other resorts websites and BestDestinationWeddings.com, that planners may not always be responsive to you (especially if your wedding is far in the future), and prepared myself to expect this.  I actually never experience this with Juan Carlos.  He was always respon

First let me start by saying my wedding was everything I imagined and more!!!  I got married on 2/21/15 and Ramon was my wedding coordinator!! He was absolutely great and a dream to work with.  Ramon was very detailed oriented and he had paid attention to all the emails that I had sent him! Our ceremony was held on the beach and we had our reception on the Beach Terrace! I loved the beach terrace, it has a great breeze and it really makes you feel like you are on a beach just without all of the
Pros: Wedding Coordinator, Location, Flowers, Food, Staff
Cons: Seaweed, wind
Hi brides! First and foremost don’t be stressed out! If you have picked Now Sapphire as your wedding resort know you are in good hands! Our wedding week was honestly one of the most wonderful weeks of my life. Everyday spent there was beautiful and so special. I loved having our family and friends there the whole time and will never forget the time we shared together. Having a destination wedding is totally worth it! Use all your resources and ask all the questions you want! It will all come to

Pros: Semi private beach and terrace for a wedding ceremony and reception
Cons: Seaweed on beach/ in ocean
First of all ladies, don't worry, they will do a wonderful job with your wedding. Just relax, and trust in the wedding coordinators. We got married on October 11, 2014. I picked the tequila beach for the ceremony and the tequila Terrace for the reception. We had 47 people including ourselves. I reserved the date in February 2014, and honestly, the hardest part of the process, was initially reserving the date. They are booked up for certain locations and on certain dates for many months and

Pros: EVERYTHING! Our wedding was perfect beyond our wildest dreams!
Hi brides! I got back on Sunday from my wedding week at NOW Sapphire and I just wanted to write and let you know if was perfect and every way!!  Honestly, it was a dream come true.  In fact, it was beyond our wildest dreams.  All of our guests raved that it was one of the best nights of their lives … and it was absolutely the best day/night of our lives as well.  So, you have nothing to worry about, because yours is going to be the exact same way - MAGICAL!   My wedding coordinator was Anel

Pros: Wedding coordinators, Food, Organized Staff
Cons: Loud music at the main pool, time share salespeople, the road to the hotel
First of all, let me tell you – you know those cynical women who hate weddings and would never want to have their own? I was one of those! But my now husband really wanted want, and I needed to compromise a little – I guess that’s just one of the ingredients for a happy marriage J. Long story short, our wedding is the most fun I have ever had in my life, the best day of my life! And Ramon and his team had a lot to do with this – they are completely trustworthy. I promise you will not regret choo
Pros: Beautiful ceremony locations, awesome resort, excellent hair/makeup services/spa, wonderful food, small resort so it's easy to find guests, great nightlife!
Cons: pool bartenders could have been friendlier
I would absolutely recommend NOW Sapphire as a choice for your destination wedding. We just got married 12/5/2013 and it was PERFECT in every way. The resort is great: best food and nightlife I've had at an all-inclusive (and I've stayed at a lot of places!). The ceremony location we chose (Tequila Terrace) is gorgeous with great beach/water views. Although communication with the wedding coordinators was minimal prior our arrival, they were awesome once we got there. My advice: relax and just kn

Pros: Wedding Coordinator, Food, Flowers, Rooms, Service
Cons: Beach
First off, I would like to say that our wedding was wonderful. It was everything we could have asked for. I distinctly remember walking down the aisle and thinking that it was the most wonderful day of my life. Everything was perfect – the flowers, the music, the food. All was great! This review is quite lengthy. I can say with certainty that reading other brides reviews helped me the most in making a decision to choose the NOW Sapphire, and also helped immensely with the planning process. I wan

Pros: Beautiful, clean resort; awesome staff; Welcome party & wedding was perfect!
Cons: Some restaurants were not air-conditioned; road into resort was a bit dangerous. Nothing that would stop us from coming back!!
Next week will be one month since our wedding at the Now Sapphire and everyone is still talking about what a great time it was! I would not regret for one minute booking my wedding with this resort. I will list a short description of our wedding and then get into the details. Sorry in advance for this being lengthy but I truly appreciated reading all of the helpful reviews and comments on the Now Sapphire thread so hope to return to favor!   Date of Wedding : November 1, 2013 (this was a Fri

Pros: Wedding coordinators, perfect for families, tons of fun events, excellent food
Cons: Need more waitstaff during regular meals (wedding was excellent)
We were just married on July 20, 2013 at NOW Sapphire. We were thrilled with the results. Below are some of our thoughts and a few pics. Please feel free to ask any specific questions. If context helps, we had 120 people. We had our wedding on the Tequila Terrace at 5 PM, Cocktail hour at the Beach Terrace from 6-7 and the reception from 7-11 (paid for an extra hour). Afterwards, we all changed and went to the lobby bar. We have a huge dance crowd, so staying through 11 with the DJ was good for
Pros: Flawless On-site Coordination, Beautiful Resort, Fantastic Customer Service, Stress Free Wedding
Cons: It was over within a blink of the eye! :(
We were married at Now Sapphire on 6/23/12. We arrived on Thursday and our wedding was Saturday. We had 31 guests (29 adults and 2 children). We had our ceremony on Tequila Beach and cocktail hour/reception on Tequila Terrace. It was the best decision we made regarding the wedding. It was so wonderful that at the conclusion we were immediately struck with wedding bell blues. We would get married at Now Sapphire again and again and again. We are leaving in a week for a return trip to Now Sapphire
Pros: The wedding planners, location, attention to detail
Cons: Hotel photographers and that the wedding is not completely private, but where in Mexico would be?
Hi all, sorry for the delay on this it has been a bit of a rollercoster since we have come back from Mexico as we had a party at the weekend with all friends and family but now finally ready to give my review:   OVERALL EXPERIENCE I personally could not be any happier at how my wedding went and the holiday we shared with all our friends and family at Now Sapphire, the resort is excellent for a group holiday and I would recommend this venue to anyone now for each individual part:

I just got back from our wedding at the Now Sapphire. I would like to share my reviews for anyone willing to read because I hired all outside vendors:   1. Photos in Cancun - Derek Campbell & Lorena Jaimes. The pictures turned out fabulous! I have almost 2000 pictures of the entire day. At the end of the reception, they gave us 3 USB sticks of all our edited photos for us to print on our own. I hired them for the whole day & don't regret it one bit. Let me know if you'd like me to e

Pros: Wedding Coordinator, Pools, Size of resort, All inclusive, Value
Cons: Slippery floors, Not a lot to do at night
We were married at the Now Sapphire on July 2, 2012. While we never visited beforehand, I did a ton of research. For what we were looking for, the Now Sapphire exceeded our expectations. Our ceremony and reception was held on the Tequila Terrace. I did not want to worry about the sand and I wanted to wear wedges, so we did both on the terrace. We had 54 guests and it was not crowded at all. We started the wedding at 6 and the sun was just starting to set. It was a perfect night.     A few
