  1. wow - YOU LOOK GREAT! The photos are very tasteful, and great artistry...beautiful!
  2. Great photos, you are very brave....I hope I can follow through with mine....I'm so self conscious - ugh! Great Pics!
  3. Blue: I am wearing a rustic turqoise necklace; New: My beautimous Maggie Sottero Gown (I still think it's too elegant for my Mayan wedding), but hell with it! Old: Old panites - Just kidding. I'm still thinking on this one.... Borrowed: Have no clue!
  4. Hola Amigas! I wanted to share the attire the love of my life will be wearing and his men. Also, I want to tell you all about a sale that Dillard's is having on some killer men's pants that are perfect for a destination wedding. This is the shirt that Patrick will be wearing - same colors - purchased from Wedding Tropics - Beach Wedding Attire & Dresses, Linen Wedding Pants, Shirts, Guayabera, Hawaiian, Havana, and Linen Suits - this is custom made. The Pants we chose are Murano from Dillard's, and they are currently on sale for $52.00, regularly $79.00, we purchased in khaki color. The photo does not do justice - they are very, very nice...I was shocked at the quality. This is the shirt we decided to go with for our GM - linen shirt from Old Navy for only $20.00 on sale now...and to think I was going to purchase each of them an Armani...Trick That!
  5. I'm glad I read this thread; I'm a 38 DD and I'm going without a bra...I also have a built in bodice that will hold up well...I think. Speaking of which (I should probably start a new thread), but I still haven't had my gown altered....I've lost 16 pounds, but still large at the chest. How soon did you girls have your gown altered? Our wedding is June 13th and we leave June 10th...Am I pushing it? Any suggesstions on finding a good alterations place? What should I ask or request? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
  6. Beautiful from begining to end - I love the panties (will check this site later today), love that you did some of your own boudouir photos (will definitly do this), attire and everything else was great. Congratulations and thank you for sharing!
  7. This is great - I just purchased Adobe Photoshop, but needed fonts, and I knew to come here and find them! Now off to creating my monogram! Thanks ladies!

Just a few comments regarding the Nightlife-Dancing Bars: Alux Cave - Best to take a cab here or you might not find it. Sometimes on the weekends, they turn the cave into a nightclub, which is a rather unique way to spend the evening. Be sure to check out the sexy lounge area deep into the cave. 8lue Parrot - Always one of the more active places to go both early and late evening, especially if you like to dance out under the stars. Most of us avoid this place for personal reasons!! Ceilito Lindo - This club is on the second floor and is primarily a club for younger latino locals looking to dance to rock music played through a great sound system. The dance floor is big, the crowd is large and the music continues almost til dawn. You won't see many tourist here. Playa69 - A gay bar set back a bit in a corridor on the west side of the 5th Avenue. You can easily spot their small lit sign at night when they're open. Fa at Siesta Fiesta - Always a great place to catch a live band in a lively but comfortable environment. Very tiny dance area.

I'm still trying to figure out logistics and looking to see what other brides are doing. By the way , congratulations!
  10. Thank you girls so much, this make me feel a lot better, and I think I may combine some inexpensive paper invites from Vista Print for the "more mature" friends and family that don't heavily use the internet! Muchos Besos!

  17. Ladies, What are your thoughts on using Evite for our couples shower? The shower is May 16th, and we're inviting close to 55-people, which all use email. I'm strapped for cash, my bridesmaids are strapped for cash, especially with final trip deposits due next week. The couples shower is going to be a Mexican fiesta, margarita's, beer, Mexican food, music - a BIG party. Is it tacky for me to use Evite? Thoughts/Suggesstion? Much Love! XOXOXOX
  18. Adorable - I love Etsy, you can always find the best items. Congratulations!
