I'm so sorry your guests are running into this Tami! We went through the same thing... in the summer when we invited everyone, fares were uber-cheap and very few people booked. Over the past few month, when most people booked, they ended up paying $200+ more than they would have! It was ridiculous! People suck sometimes, but it was there choice not to book when fares were cheap. Very frustrating! I love that smiley btw - lol.

Travel Mugs? Travel candle with your logo and a tropical smell? Hmm... I'll keep thinking...

We told people that there presence was present enough, but EVERYONE wanted to know where we were registered... so we did a honeymoon registry and a bed bath and beyond registry. There are people who are coming to our wedding who have given us gifts, and we are having a house-warming/AHR in a few months, so it will help.

We're bringing ours. My rings would be really hard to find in fake (they have sapphires) and I can't imagine getting married without them. We'll use the safe in our room, and probably will carve out a book or something inconspicous to hide things in. Our rings are insured, so as much as I'd hate to have them stolen or lost, at least we are covered...

We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and have a honeymoon registry with TheBigDay.com . I think they also have a fee, but we booked our honeymoon travel through them so the fee is waived. They actually got us a really great deal on our honeymoon hotels, so it was a huge win-win!

How big is your wedding going to be? Tensing Pen is supposed to be beautiful, as is the Rockhouse. I'm getting married just outside of Negril at a small all-inclusive that has a bed and breakfast feel - Coral Cove Jamaica Vacation - Little Bay Bed Breakfast Inn - Negril Wedding, Caribbean . We're honeymooning at Sunset at the Palms and The Caves. CSA is supposed to be really nice also! Let us know what you're looking for...

I would second the recommendation to go on hotel site and search Vegas. You can usually get a package pretty cheap. Not sure what the cost is, but the Hard Rock was really nice. They have a shuttle to the strip, so it doesn't really matter that its a little off the strip. Last time I was there I stayed at Bally's, which was also nice. Paris (which is attached) was really beautiful. The Westin is definitely cheaper, but also smaller. What are you looking for? If you stay in any of the larger casinos the rooms should be nice...

Ok... FI and I suck - but you ladies are awesome!!! We don't need a ton of music (since we have a band), but need stuff for our cocktail hour and maybe for our welcome dinner after our steel band stops... I just picked out about 100 songs that I want to have! Now I need to put Sam to work on making a playlist and uploading into our ipod!

We looked into shipping to Jamaica and were floored by the prices! At least you won't have to deal with carrying everything Congrats - you must be so excited!!!
