  1. Hey ladies... I did a dry run for my hair with my hairdresser this weekend... which way do you think the flowers look better Front Gardenia Orchids
  2. Pre-wedding Trifolds OOT Bags Towels for OOT Bags Glass starfish necklaces for my girlfriends
  3. Sam and I are leaving for Jamaica on Tuesday!!!! I can't believe its finally here My deepest thanks to all of you for the ideas, support and sanity that you've given me over the past 6 months! I honestly think I would've gone insane without BDW. As others have done before, I am posting pics of all of my planning stuff. To those I've generously borrowed from - THANK YOU!!! The ring that started it all! My wedding band and e-ring. His ring Our resort - Coral Cove in Little Bay, Jamaica The Dress! Wedding Jewelry I DIY'd My TTD dress Our invites
  4. Also try Hanae Mori Butterflys... its my everyday scent and I love it! Light and yet noticeable - has a lot of vanilla undertones too. My FI loves it, but I'm planning on wearing something different for the wedding - Lancome 2000 et une Roses. Its a discontinues scent that I used to love, and I managed to snag a bottle on Ebay! So psyched! Its very different from my norm, so I think FI will remember it.
  5. Very nice! One more thing checked off your list!
  6. Congrats Shelley!!! You're going to need to sneak some pics for us... you know that And I'm with Steph - inquiring minds want to know... when are you getting married?!?!?!?
  7. I like the 1st one you posted in 2 color. Very cool BTW - my colors are red and aqua too!
  8. I know this has been discussed extensively, but with search being wonky... Many girls have used their real dresses for TTD and the dresses were fine. The exception to the rule is a silk dress, which will be ruined. I bought a dress on Ebay - not a wedding dress, but white and flowy. I know Tami got a DB dress on Ebay pretty cheap also. I think if you want to save your wedding dress, then getting a seperate TTD dress is totally understandable. Mine was about $80 - which was 100% justifiable to me
  9. I was going to buy these, but the ones I loved were from Beach Bride Jewelry - Beautiful finishing touches for your wedding in the sand and they were way too expensive. I decided to scratch the idea and just go barefoot and then have nice shoes for the wedding. They are gorgeous though!
  10. Love that song, and I wouldn't worry about people recognizing it... its an older movie, so I think you can get away with it.

I will posting all my stuff over the weekend Still need to take pics of a few things before we pack them.
  13. Great ladies!!! Sparkpeople definitely worked for me I lost 15lbs and then was told by my bridal shop that I really shouldn't lose anymore weight. I found that committing to tracking EVERYTHING I put in my mouth really worked. Who wants to eat a cheeseburger when you have to look at how many calories and fat grams you just ate? Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!
  14. We did iron-ons, but I don't know if it would work with a picture. If you had a really good printer, it should. I would say buy the iron-on paper and a bag or even a t-shirt to experiment with. We used Wilton Easyimage transfer paper and it worked great! Just remember to mirror the image before printing Our bags were $5 a piece, but they are heavy canvas big beach bags... the transfer paper is about $1 per sheet, so it would certainly be cheaper if it works. Let us know how it goes! Oh and as for if the iron-on is shiny, if you take the backing off while it is still hot, it gives a matte look. If you wait until they cool, they stay shiny.
  15. Not sure if this would work if you have a lot of tables, but you could do something with more cocktail umbrellas... 1 on table 1, 2 umbrellas on table 2 etc. You could even attach them to a printed number to make it more obvious. Just thinking off the top of my head...
  16. We didn't do Vistaprint shirts, but we made a few shirts with iron on transfers that we had leftover from our OOT bags. They came out really great and were easy
  17. The aisle is awesome Tami! Love it! I think tulle would look nice blowing in the wind, but the gazebo is beautiful and doesn't NEEEEED anything
  18. Have fun! Don't stress too much about the timeframe... a lot of the expensive designer dresses take 6-9 months, but I went shopping in August and almost everything I looked at would be in at about the 3 months mark. You should be fine. Try all different styles on, because you may be surprised by what you love! Can't wait to see pics!
