I also vote for beautiful mix of cultures! Maybe you could have the steel drum music play as guests arrives, before the processional. Or have them play a more traditional song with the steel drums. You can definitely make it work if it's important to you to incorporate it. Good luck!

Katie, just relax - you're going to look amazing & have a fabulous time!! Come back & tell us how it goes! btw, girls, I didn't end up wearing any jewelry except my e-ring & a pair of diamond earrings and I didn't use any props (except the furniture, beaded curtain, & mirror that she had there). The pics are great & I didn't feel like anything was missing when I looked at them w/ Jen (photog). So no stressing necessary to find the "right" props.

Hi girls, just wanted to let you know I had my shoot with Jen today & it was so much fun!! What a great experience! Jen is amazing - super talented & so friendly! She completely puts you at ease right from the start. For any of you considering booking with her on the 8th, or any other dates, send that deposit in and start buying your outfits! You will not be disappointed!!! One tip I would recommend is to definitely spend the money to have Oksana do your makeup. There is absolutely no way I could've ever gotten my eyes to pop like she did and the makeup looks great in the photos. Can't wait to get my pics!

OK, I'm back to report that my session with Jen was nothing short of fabulous! Jen rocks! She's a sweetheart & totally puts you at ease. She's ridiculously talented too, which always helps. We took a ton of shots & I had like 70 that were really really good! It was actually really hard to narrow it down. And, unlike my first shoot, this was exactly what I had in mind. yay! Can't wait to get my pics! And Oksana (make-up) is also super talented. She completely transformed me & it was worth every penny! Anyone considering using Jen/Oksana should absolutely do it!

I LOVE this dress!! It's gorgeous & perfect for a DW!! It'd be perfect for TTD too. I'm almost 5'8" so unfortunately it can't be mine. So tempting though!! You'll have no problem selling it!

Hi girls! I'm headed to see Jen tomorrow! Got my mani/pedi today & I'm all ready. A little nervous, but I think it'll be great - assuming I don't get lost on my way there. adridashanne, I'm going by myself but I don't think it's weird at all to want to bring someone! I'm also gonna make my own book on blurb, shutterfly or mypublisher. Haven't decided which yet but they're all really reasonable.
