Hey girls, hope everyone's doing well! We just got our pens, photoshare cards & little welcome cards/timelines for inside the OOT bags from Vistaprint. They turned out really cute (I'll try to post a pic later). I'm in the process of making a "shoes optional" sign. I bought some lt blue stiff felt, around 11" x 18 ", in the kids craft section at Michaels & white fabric paint so I just painted the words as a test run & I think it'll be OK, but I have to do the final version. Also got some painted wooden flip flops to glue onto the sign. We ran into a bit of a problem with our groomsmen shirts yesterday though. So, our colors are aqua, green (kind of clover colored) & yellow. The groomsmen are wearing guayabera shirts & I came up w/ the bright idea of having the embroidery down the front match the girls' dresses (so one light blue, one green & one yellow). Only problem is the shirts came in & apparently the yellow is REALLY light (had them delivered to Chicago where 2 of the groomsmen are so I haven't actually seen them). But according to my sis-in-law, it's kinda hard to tell it apart from the ivory shirt. I also can't tell if I really like the green. Now I'm not sure what to do. She sent me a pic, but it's hard to tell w/ lighting & everything how it'll really look & I'm guessing it won't show up in pictures at all. I think we may end up re-ordering the yellow with more of a gold or orangey yellow thread but it's such a pain in the butt. It took over 2 months to get the stupid shirts in the first place. Very frustrated about this, especially since I can't see the shirts! boooo

Hi Kris, congratulations & welcome to the forum! I'm originally from Chicago & am getting married in PV too! I don't have any info about Casa Angela, but PV is beautiful! It'll be gorgeous no matter where you have it! For a photographer I have to recommend Fer Juaristi. He is absolutely amazing & I can't wait to have him shoot our wedding & trash-the-dress session the next day! I know Heather & a couple other girls on the forum used him too and had nothing but rave reviews. Beautiful pics Leslie!! You looked gorgeous & it seemed like such a great party! The song picked is especially perfect considering all you two have been going through. I also couldn't care less - didn't see the apology nor do I plan to. But I do think if it's done publicly then it just seems like damage control/PR spin. Cynical, maybe, but that's my gut reaction.

aah, pole dancing, banana pudding & wedding dress try-ons. What could be better?!? For me it was seeing 5 patients on my own & feeling a little more competent (like no one's gonna drop dead after leaving the office - I'm an NP student). That & pizza for dinner! yum

Hi & Congrats to you! I agree with the other girls - this friend of yours needs a wedding planner asap (she could also be directed to the forum)! But if she can't be bothered with planning her own wedding after 3 years, maybe there's a reason. I wouldn't push it - instead focus on your own planning! Good luck!

Congratulations!!! What an amazing gift to be able to have your grandfather there with you to share such a special day! Ha! You're doing another one! That's freaking awesome! After I did my 1st one in Chicago I immediately said "I want to do this again!". It's so much fun! But, I have to say you look absolutely beautiful & I honestly can't see where you're thinking you can lose weight from! I know we're our own worst critics, but from an objective eye, I think you look great!! I'm so glad I was referred to Jen too. She takes amaaazing pictures & these are exactly the style I'm looking for. The hot rollers is what I planned too - I agree the $ is way better spent on the makeup & yes, I am having Oksana. She does beautiful work & I figured there's no way I can get my eyes to look that good on my own so the extra $100 is worth it. Did you come from the city? How long did it take you to get there? And was it easy to find? I'll be getting a zipcar b/c she said it's not really near public transportation but I still need to contact her for her address; I don't think she ever got back to me with it.

Congratulations Timberly!!!! Great review - it really sounds like you guys had just the most perfect wedding! I'm so sorry you had to go through the stress & craziness with Delta & driving all over creation just to get a flight out, but your experience at Dreams sounds well worth the effort of getting there!
