ugh. I'm starting to worry about this b/c we have at least 2 ppl, maybe more, who decided to be difficult & not stay at the hotel. I'm kind of annoyed by this, but I know it's their vacation too so whatever. I just don't want them to be hassled or told to leave 10 min after their "pass" expires. Give me a break!! I'll have to talk to Rebeca about this one.

ugh, Diana that sucks!! We have a couple people staying off site too and its supposedly $70 for a day pass plus $55 for the cocktail hour & dinner. There may be a way to avoid paying the day pass if people only come to the hotel just before the ceremony, but still it's a lot of $. Why can't people just play nice & stay at the same hotel as everyone else?? Did you actually invite FI's aunt's brother/sister? Or is the aunt just wanting to bring them b/c she's staying with them? Can you have FI or one of his parents talk to her? I definitely think you can let them know that yours is a small intimate wedding and while you'd love to see her family at some point, the wedding package is set at a certain number. Good luck figuring that out!!

They're both beautiful on you! Was their one that made you feel more like a bride? I agree with Christie, you had some good bridal 'tude going on in the 1st dress (2866), but the 2nd seemed to fit better in the store & you have more pics of it. Tough decision! Either way you'll be gorgeous so it's a good problem to have! Good luck!

Maria, it sounds like you had an extremely successful shopping trip!! All of your outfits sound great! And don't worry about the tum or any other body part - the photog will work their magic & take advantage of all of your great parts! I agree with Katie - a car calendar would be great, if you can find one of his fav cars that'd be even better, but any cool car calendar would work. You can have it laying open to Sept next to you in a photo w/ your date circled in a heart or something appropriately corny. Or you could buy a mechanic/car magazine & have a pic holding it up in front of you strategically placed, like you're reading it. Aside from that, it sounds like you actually have enough props. I've seen many bd pics where the girls aren't wearing any jewelry, aside from their E-ring and maybe some earrings. Does the photog have a feather boa? If so you could play with that, but I wouldn't worry about it. You can use furniture & sheets as props too so I would just work with whatever they have. when's your shoot?

We bought these ones Limited Edition Beaded Curtain : Aqua Capiz with Brown Wood Beads That company also sells strands of multi-colored capiz shells that aren't pre-attached to a bar; they may have other colors too but I just looked quickly. Capiz Shell Garland Strand, Multi Colors - Set of 4 Getting them down there is proving to be an issue. I thought we could just pack it in a suitcase, but it's too big. The strands of shells are secured onto a wooden mounting bar which is wider than any of our suitcases (& we just bought a BIG one). I emailed our resort WC & she assured me it'd be fine to have it UPS'd to her so hopefully it'll get there in one piece w/o being held up by customs.

I totally hear you girls. Pretty much everyone booked their rooms, but we still have several who have yet to book flights. And it's a lot more expensive now than it was a couple months ago when I sent out reminders. ugh. This is definitely the worst part of a DW - the anxiety of waiting for people to just book already!

Hi Cathy! I love this work-out. It's quick & there are 3 levels to choose from depending on your activity level & how you feel any given day. I started out using 5 lb wts too, now I alternate between 3 & 5 lb ones. If they feel too heavy you can modify the moves, do fewer reps, but just keep proper form & you should be good. Don't get discouraged! Do level 1 - Jillian has 1 of the girls in the video doing modified moves in case it's too much for you initially, but you'll definitely get there if you keep it up!

We're using Talavera tiles as place cards/favors. They can be used later as a spoon rest or trivet, or as decoration on a shelf w/ a mini easel. We bought like 20 different tiles and I painted the backs in a terracotta paint & will write names/table #'s in silver. Tiles and Tiles...Mexican Talavera Tiles Catalog You could also find a local bakery & do Mexican wedding cookies wrapped in little hand-painted pottery or fill little bottles with Mexican spices (chili/ancho chili powder, cumin, coriander) & tie a tag on them with the spice name.
