Mischaka you should totally do it!! It seriously is sooo empowering & I think every woman should do this for herself! I actually did one in Chicago in Jan (as my bachelorette party), but it was more pinup-ey (if that's a word) & I had really wanted more boudoir-type shots so I'm doing it again out here. Then I'll combine pics from both shoots into a book. Like finley & kamilla, I'm using Jen from Jenerations photography. She's in Queens & seems really great to work with! Prices are not super cheap, but better than all of the others I had looked into. You should definitely email her. Beautiful and Affordable Photography

oooh, I'm super excited that you said that Kamilla! I'm scheduled with Jen on 3/19 & I can't wait! Did you guys get your hair done or do it yourself? My appt is in the AM so I'm having the make-up done, but there's no time for hair so I think I'll just blow it out & maybe throw in some curls. Gorgeous pics btw!

Christie, I really like FI's ring! We found FIs at the same jeweler where my Ering & wedding band are from. He loved it, but decided not to get it at the time he tried it on. You did a wonderful job! I love the colors & the vector you chose - it's beachy & elegant at the same time.

We have 40 ppl coming & are doing place cards. Like Marcia said, we want people from both sides to interact a little so forcing them to eat together should do the trick. I just want to avoid having one table of 12 crammed together of all his friends and another table of 4 with just mine (or something like that) so we felt like using place cards will help even it out. Oh & we're not doing menus either.

Beautiful! I love your colors - that blue is gorgeous! And I really love the sand dollars! We used one on our invite too I think the fonts & colors of them look great. If anything, I might move down the text on the invite just a little since you have some white space at the bottom so there's more room for your sand dollar, but honestly that's just nit-picking. Great job!!
