  2. The milk there is fine--actualy better than here because the diet for the anilams are far superior than here. You will be fine.
  3. its a valid concern for sure. hopefuly people will not be unreasonable and understand that all you and your FI's time will not be spent with the guests and that they need to respect this.
  4. time waits for no one..but also life is short so weigh what is most important to you. when you reflect back on your wedding day, will you regret not having your parents there or not? I am also sure if things get tied up in court your parents could look into a stay of some sort of delay if you know your date exactly---but that is something you guys will need to talkover and work out.
  5. started looking in october for a march wedding. give yourself at least 6 months. good luck with everything.
  6. welcome maroa. there are tons of posts on wedding packages, hotels, etc. For free packages, try the RIU in Jamaica or Sunset Grande. Have you done any research so far??
  7. absolutely check out the TAs on this site! I wish I had done that but I stumbled on to this site a couple months too late!
  8. I am going with the Royal package at the RIU - Montego Bay. I am adding addiitonal photography and flowers, decorations, disco rental, band, etc to the tune of approx 7G. This is separate from my attire, airfare, OOT bags, etc, costs for guest not staying at the hotel, extra decorations, costs for guests we are paying for, wedding insurance, etc. I would narrow down where you want to get married at and do a cost comparison based on your MUST HAVES and the associated costs. There are tons of posts and threads on every subject imaginable so good luck to you--don't stress.
  9. try www.bestbridalprices.com--they have a lot of colors or do a search on shopzilla...
  10. we too, did a mixture of calls and an email. Or you can send a pre-STD with your wedding website if you have one. usually there is an opton to send stuff like that with the services. best of luck planning!!

  14. With 8 months in total with STD and everything, we will have 40 people if no one bails last minute....The last deposit was due today so I don't htink anyone will pull out.
  15. Hey Sorors, Jus wanted to wish all the BDW brides that are AKAs a Happy Founders Day! Skee-Wee!!
  16. the human body is a weird machine--you may pig out all week and end up still losing weight-sometimes the body needs a break you know!
  17. I think #1 but pulling the curls up and with your gorgeous dress, therefore a hair flower would be just stunning!
  18. we are not doing any of the traditional type of dances, first dances etc. Just keeping it to open dances for whomever wishes to. BUT we are going to do the group dances (i.e cuban shuffle, cha cha slide, electric slide) etc
