  4. I plan to prepack the contents in ziplock bags and pack them with the actual bags ina couple of suitcases and send them down with family. I will reassemble once we are there.

  6. I saw this website too- but was very skeptical and decided to take a pass. If it was for a non-wedding event, would be willing to take more of a risk.

I would keep it simple and in the STD pr newsletter, whatever your avenue of communicating, invite them to spend the weekend with you and FI for your wedding (ie Weekend Wedding Celebration) and give the basic logistics. Then follow-up with a few scheduled activities or suggested activities so they will have options
  8. traditional medicine states that they are not needed--I say if it rids the body of toxins and other stuff, go for it---a few times a year surely would not hurt. Glad it is working for you.

  12. UPDATE: I applaud her risk taking in choosing fresh unknown designers! The dress she wore last night for the ball was AMAZING! Beautiful indeed! They make such a gorgeous first family.

  14. I agree with the girls and it stems from not pacing yourself. Sounds like you are very organized and sometimes we just have to realize that an emergency on our part does not equate to a crisis on theirs ---so lesson is relax. Pace yourself and just go with the flow. Everything will be fine. I too think of the tons of things I have to do and at the end of the day I am prioritizing the must haves and the non regrets if I don't get around to it.
  15. I would ask Chanadalyn of outside vendors that can do a rum cake. got a quote from the Riu-MB coordinator but they wanted $1000 US. WTF??!!
  16. wow i feel so bad...was this something that was in the making becasue they were having problems or was your dad totally blind-sided by it all (not that it makes it any less painful). So sorry this all is happening. I hope they can work it out--people if willing, do so all the time.
  17. as much as it sounds like a cool idea..i hate it! overcrowdedness with celebs will bring problems for dining reservations for our guests, etc.... WHY WHY!!! Grrrrrr...
