About Corvette79

  1. Hey Ladies,I have been so busy since getting back from the wedding that I have neglected this site but I have returned...*guilty* I just wanted to say that our wedding was more than we thought possible, amazing. We got married at the Akumal side, used Claudia for photography, DJ Bob for reception, Alexandro Zavala for hair & Make up. I will post some pics and a full review later on but if you have any questions please ask!
  2. Hey everyone! it has been awhile since I have been on here, I have 84,000 and odd unread messages....sigh :-( anyways.. I just wanted to say that I know it seems Claudia's prices are high but honestly it is so worth it! she and her brother armando were great to work with and our pictures are amazing, i have had so many people say they want to get married just to get pictures like ours. If you have any questions please let me know I will do my best to check this more often
  3. WOW! I love your stuff!!!! THanks for posting!

Has anyone heard about this?? I am going to call the resort and make sure this will not be the case for the wedding. I hope not! Hi JoLo! Your big day is coming up too! We leave this sunday and get married on Wednesday next week! so excited. To answer your question, our wedding coordinator is Yuritzia from the Akumal side and I had the same question and she replied today that only the Akumal section is open as well as the Dona Isabel (Hacienda) area sooo..... not as many restaurants but because the resort is only 20% capacity the service is really really good, not as much of a party atmosphere, no fighting over palapas etc. maybe this will change by the time you have to go? Let me know if you have more questions

Its the frickin flu! over 4000 Cdns die every year from the flu and there have been 50 worldwide!!!! Why are they doing this!!! We now have to try to move our destination elsewhere - in a matter of days. It took weeks to put this wedding together and now i have to slap something else together! life is unfair!!! I hope not to many other brides are going through this! This is a nightmare! The hotel said they will refund our deposit but I signed a contract with my photographer and paid a stinkin lot of money up front that was non-refundable!!! This sucks! Hi, the same thing happened to us, we were supposed to be married may 27ty but Transat cancelled so we re-booked to JUne10th and same thing soooo we demanded they refund us and now we are flying delta airlines to mexico and booked hotel separately! done! try that!
  11. Thanks again for all the comments ladies, now i think i have narrowed them down, just not sure which one should be on the front of the album. it is black leather with a picture window...which one? should i go full on sexy or just a teaser cover pic? what do you think?

Welcome! I too am getting married at the BPA on June 10th. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer!
  13. BTW for those of you that have not done your shoot yet, the best thing to bring is a really hot pair of heels, they made me feel super sexy and look awesome in the pics, i also brought a long strand of pearls, FI shirt & hat, bird cage veil, i wore simple CZ diamond studs that worked well with every outfit. I brought about 8 different outfits and the photographer and I worked together to pick my favorite outfit, FI fav outfit and also which ones would look great in pics.

Hi, thanks so much. the whole thing took about 3 hours. It was a bit over an hour to do hair & make up then the pics. yes i did have to pay extra for hair and make up it was $100 for hair & make up but you can do your own or get it done before your shoot if you prefer. i just didnt want to deal with that and i saw previews of other galleries and liked the way their artist did peoples hair & make up. I noticed you live in whistler, you should totally do it, they are VERY reasonable and awesome to work with. i recommend them 100%. Let me know if you have any more questions
