Sounds like fun, have a great trip!

Have a great legal day tomorrow. So exciting!

I have watched the show a few times. The kids are super cute, but I can't even imagine having 8 kids. The parents got on my nerves the few times I have watched the show, and after reading some of the otehr posts and blog I don't think I'll be watching anymore.

OOT Bag Rules?
beachbride08 replied to meagan's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I am doing one bag per room, regardless of number of guests in the room. I get some kid-friendly items to put in the bags for families. I'm not sure how the distribution is going to go, but if I can put names on those bags to be given out at check-in I will do that. Otherwise, I just may make a separate little gift bag for the kids and hand those out separately so the bags for families don't go to the wrong people. -

The jumps he did in that Russian dance were freaking insane- I mean one would have been incredible, but 3 in a row is just sick!

Are you the only BRIDE?

Correction*** "The Wedding Place" had 7 weddings in one day! Is this normal? Was that the episode for the place in CA? I think I watched that and was thinking I would never want to get married there. It seemed like such a circus! There can be up to 3 weddings per day at my resort, but only one per hotel. They are all separate so you won't run into another wedding ar the hotel. Each hotel also has a different coordinator so there is no overlap and you have all their attention. -
We had the wedding website set up before we sent out the STDs. However, we ended up password protecting the site afterwards. We emailed those we have email addresses for with the password and also put a post up that we were going to be password protecting it with FI's last name as we didn't want to post the password a couple weeks before we did. When we sent out the invites we included the password.

Does FSIL know what happened with the engagement party? I would maybe just mention that you heard the shower plans had changed and your concerned with guests being invited to the shower and not to the wedding. Unfortunately, though you may not have much control over what happens as they are planning it. Maybe your FI can talk to his mom and sis about the situation?

katrina's wedding review- riu yucatan
beachbride08 replied to katrina's topic in Destination Wedding Reviews
Great review! The Riu Yucatan was the first resort we looked at when we started planning so it is nice to see a wedding there. I'm sure this info will be very helpful for future RIu brides. -

Bridal Shower Etiquette

How do you handle this situation? I don't want guests to be confused because some will be invited to travel and some are only invited to the AHR Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! How is anyone else eliminating the confusion for guests? I have seen people send out announcements after the destination wedding with an invitation to the AHR to celebrate. Maybe you could do something like that or just send out a separate invite for the AHR. -
how can it be so hard to find a pair of sneakers??

So I move on over to the children's department and they have a size 3 (slightly too small) and a five (even bigger then the adults 6, i swear). No 3.5, 4 or 4.5 in sight ANYWHERE, not even in ugly shoes so I can find my real size. I haven't bought a real sneaker in years. I usually buy whatever is cute and cheap when I am in Target or some equal-type store. So where in the hell can a girl find adult sneakers in size 5, I ask? The children's don't have the styles that I would want, but I would suck it up, if they had the damn size I needed. But they don't, which makes me want to hold out for a womens, but I have no idea where to even start looking! Any ideas ladies? OK, first I am totally jealous that you have such tiny feet. Second, I don't know if they have Fleet Feet by you, but they do a foot analysis to see how you walk and how you wear down your gym shoes and make sure to put you in the right kind of shoe and at the right size. They can be pricey depending on the type of shoe you pick, but at least you know you are getting the right shoe. I would always buy cheap gym shoes and now that I have been fitted I know what the right shoe is. It makes a big difference. -
With only a couple hours maybe go shopping, or out to eat. The Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale is nice and there is a really good breakfast place down the street called The Breakfast Club. They have the best iced coffees. You're not the only one that gets excited about AZ so don't feel bad. FI and I are moving there early next year. It is hot in the summer, but the heat doesn't bother me. FI and I were the only people in the pool at our hotel when it was 112. Ha ha!

We will be in Mexico for almost 2 weeks, and then it will be back to reality. Ha ha! We haven't decided if we are staying in the same room the night before. I could care less, FI is the one that is more the traditional, romantic type. However, he always complains that he can't sleep if I'm not home so we'll see. We got our first wedding gift today! FI called me at work asking me what I ordered now and it ended up being the lamps we registered for. I was so excited!

The beading is beautiful! Your legal dress is really cute.

Very cool!

I'm so sorry to hear the news, but it sounds like it was for the better. I wouldn't wait until December to go to Mexico though. I think you should take a trip and get your mind off the situation and has some fun as soon as you get settled after the move.

I think we are ecstatic to have a day together. We meet with the judge at 1pm. Have a great day tomorrow! The legal ceremony is so fast-literally 2 minutes. Ha ha! My FI and I did the same thing and went out to eat afterwards. It was so nice to have a whole day to hang out since we don't get to that due to our conflicting schedules.
