Pros: Prompt communication! Thorough! Friendly!
I was lucky to travel to Mexico last November for another friends wedding in the Cancun Area and got to meet Gonzalo in person before our wedding.  Email communication before arrival was very prompt and he was more than happy to come to our resort to meet us.  For me, this made me extremely comfortable and trusting with him and that he would deliver. I followed him on Facebook leading up until the wedding and could not wait to see what our pictures would turn out like.  The day of our wedding, I was VERY nervous and was a little indecisive on what all we wanted.  Our schedule was dictated by the resort and Gonzalo worked around us having a firm dinner reservation at a time I wanted sunset pictures.  He also led the shoot with ideas he had which we were completely fine with.  Our resort (Cancun Palace/Hard Rock Cancun) had a lot of construction going on but Gonzalo made the best of it.  He was very focused and alert to any backdrop in or outside the hotel that would make for a good photo opportunity.  During our wedding a huge black cloud started moving in with lightening and thunder but didn't start to rain until after our wedding.  While we took pictures on the beach an unfortunate incident happened with one of my guests being injured and we stopped the session to make sure she was ok and regrouped.  Gonzalo understood the severity and the emotions behind the incident and didn't push to jump back into pictures.  Our cocktail reception had to be moved indoors and yet again, Gonzalo took advantage of the surroundings and pulled off some great shots.  Sunset pictures were the last of our shots and after pouring rain, we were able to take some fabulous pictures.      My husband and I are far from models or know the first thing about posing or working the camera.  Gonzalo's best advice was to "feel" during the shot and it would come through in the pictures.  Of course he was right and none of the pictures looked phony or forced.

Gonzalo is a GREAT guy, very reasonably priced (in comparison to other area photographers with his talent) and patient.  We are extremely happy with the pictures and are thankful for the memories relived every time we look at them.

Pros: Artistic, Responsive, Amazing
Cons: None!
Imaginative. Creative. Fun. Amazing. There are not enough positive words to describe our experience working with Gonzalo. The consummate professional, his vision saw the beauty in everything around us allowing our photos to be alive and beautiful. So simply put, thank you Gonzalo. The experience was the perfect start to planning our wedding. We cannot thank Gonzalo enough for such amazing photos that we will cherish for many years to come.

Cons: can't think of one
We couldn't be happier that we chose Gonzalo to be our photographer for the most important day of our lives.  Working with him was fun!  He made us feel very comfortable and we had such a great time.  We received our pictures in the mail today and we were blown away.  Not only did we get them quicker than we could have ever dreamed but he also captured the most important moments and in the most beautiful way.  He is affordable too!  He could be charging so much more for the talent that he brings to the table.  We see great things for Gonzalo and we are so thankful that he had him for our special day!  I can promise any bride out there that they would not be disappointed.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
I can not say enough about Gonzalo! He was truly amazing to work with and probably the best decision I made regarding my wedding. I first got in touch with him in August after doing some research and emailing different photographers. Gonzalo was very fast to respond and after reviewing his photos and going over his prices there was no doubt that I needed to book him. He was so easy to work with and very accomodating! I emailed him very frequently throughout the planning process and he always responded in a timely manner. I really wanted to do a trash the dress session and there is no way I could have done it without the help of Gonzalo. He was able to give me a price that I couldn't say no to! The day of the wedding he was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, knew where at the resort he wanted to take pictures, and really made us feel at ease. My husband and I aren't the most comfortable in front of the camera but based on our photos you would never know it! We are having an at home reception and Gonzalo went out of his way to make sure that I had our pictures for the reception. I just about cried looking at our photos because I was so thrilled. I could not be any happier with them and am so glad that I chose Gonzalo to photograph our wedding. I have already received so many compliments on our pictures and I tell everyone that it is because our photographer was AMAZING!
Pros: affordable editorial style wedding photography, flexible with style of photos, knowledgeable, experienced, personable, helped loosen up my groom
We had a very intimate wedding at the Hacienda Chichen. Gonzalo and his wife were wonderful from beginning to end. Gonzalo answered all my questions promptly and was very informative. He listed every expense from the very beginning, and was very honest about pricing. Finding  a photographer like him was an absolute gem! I've been researching wedding photographers for  a couple of years now and its hard to find a photographer who is flexible in photography style with what is needed in a full day of wedding photography. We were not disappointed to say the least!! If you're thinking of hiring him you should book early, to ensure your date isn't taken :)   Thank you again Gonzalo! Tina and Christian

We used Gonzalo Nunez as our photographer at The Royal Playa del Carmen on March 29, 2012. He was amazing!!! He is extremely talented and very professional. We just got our pictures and our slideshow back and I was so impressed with our photos. They look like photos taken out of a magazine!!!! I have so many nice photos that I can't decide which ones are my favorites. I am so happy that we went with Gonzalo and would HIGHLY recommend his work. He is awesome!

Gonzalo is amazing. He is such a wonderful, sincere and kind hearted man. Everyone in our wedding party just loved him and his assistant Lunic.   I am quite shy and self conscious infront of the camera, I just freeze and tense up. So, it was hoping to find a photographer who was going to make me feel at ease and comfortable. Gonzalo has such a great, calm energy about him that I was able to finally relax and enjoy the day... and it was an unforgettable good time! We had an amazing experience with Gonzalo and now have hundreds of beautiful photos which we will cherish for a lifetime.   On the business side, Gonzalo is great to communicate with and very professional. He's passionate about what he does and it shows throughout. You'll love him!

Pros: dependable, personable, talented
Cons: none
On February 29, 2012 my now fiance Shaun planned a surprise proposal followed by a day of adventure and romance and had Gonzalo Nunez there to capture every moment.  We started at the Grand Cenote where my fiance proposed.  Gonzalo and his protege Lunic were off behind bushes and benches and unobtrusively captured the most beautiful shots of such an amazing moment.  Next up was our plunge into the waters of the cenote for our underwater session.  I had absolutely no idea how to hold my breath and make myself photo presentable while under water in a long dress but Gonzalo was so patient and helpful that he put me at ease right away.  I can't even begin to describe the talent it must take to capture these shots underwater.  Next we climbed down a ladder into this cave full of bats and quicksand and Gonzalo took more breathtaking pictures.  The images from both the underwater session and the cave are unlike anything I've ever seen before.

After our underwater and cave sessions we changed and were off to our next location with a pit stop along the way for the most delicious tacos I've ever tasted!  Gonzalo had a couple of locations in mind and we went with a rustic Tulum hotel followed by "the most gorgeous beach in the world."  Gonzalo definitely knows the area well and the spots we chose to take pictures were incredible.  The colors surrounding us were unreal and provided the most unique and beautiful backdrops for our photos.  Gonzalo didn't force us into awkward poses, he guided us and let us be natural.  He completely captured the love shared between me and Shaun through his lens.

Gonzalo is truly a master of his art.  Shaun and I are both blown away by the beauty of the pictures.  Everyone we have shared the images with has been in awe of how amazing and unique they are.  Also, the warmth and kindness of both Gonzalo and Lunic made us feel right at ease sharing such an intimate day with them.  We could not be happier with the entire experience and would recommend Gonzalo a million times over.

Pros: Professional, creative, flexible, so much fun to hang out with
Cons: Two days and it still wasn't enough time!
Honestly words cannot express how much admiration, respect and gratitude I have for this man. We hired him for the wedding day (10 hours) and TTD (4 hours including transportation time but we ended up going for 8) and brought an assistant for both. He has such a calm demeanor but is so creative and fun. Although we had a 2 hour break between the ceremony and reception, we didn't have that much time to take bridal party shots as I had to change into a second dress and make it to the other end of the resort. But he was so quick and constantly giving us new ideas and moving us around for different angles.   He blended in seamlessly and only forced us to take shots with our guests during the party because it had been too hot out earlier. He just said, grab some people and I will follow and shoot. My husband didn't like missing out on the partying but looking back now, it was really important to get shots with all the people that travelled to be with us.

He came back a few days later to pick us up for our TTD. What was supposed to be 4 hours ended up being 8. He kept getting inspiration for other shots and took all of my suggestions and requests without a complaint. He just kept going and going. We went to the Grande Cenote for our underwater shoot first. We were only supposed to shoot for 2 hours and spent almost 4 there.  It was tough for me cause I don't swim very well and my dress did not allow me to dive or stay underwater. He was so patient and he posted a picture on his Facebook that is amazing! I accidentally removed the ring off my husbands finger in the cenote and they both went diving to find it. We then went to grab some tacos at a roadside restaurant. Really good! Then he gave us a quick tour of Tulum and then we went to the beach for some more shots. We brought some Mexican wrestling masks and got some action shots and then got some beach shots. I had wanted to do a sexy one at the cenote with just my bikini bottoms on but there wasn't enough time. But after the beach I was head to toe in sand. His assistant stripped me and I was standing there in my husbands suit jacket when he got the inspiration for our last shot. Walking into the ocean topless with my dress in tow. I can't wait to see all of his pictures!

His style is photo journalistic, his prices were a fraction of others, his email communication is quick, always responsive and he was just featured in a bridal magazine and appeared on TV. My husband now says he wishes we would've had a third day with him. Serious? The one who dreaded doing two days? Book him now before his prices go up. You won't regret it! Here are the two he posted on Facebook.
Pros: Passionate, fun, artistic, creative, image shortyteller, million dollar shots for an affordable price!,
Cons: Absolutely NONE! My husband has many complaints but not one was about Gonzalo because that's how great he was!
AHonestly, Gonzalo deserves more stars then BDW is allowing me to give! He went way beyond our expectations!!!! Like most other brides, I have never been to a destination wedding let alone plan one. I was nervous about many things because talking to someone through emails is not always sufficient. Will he be like you imagine? Will he take pictures that I will love for a lifetime? Will he work well with my family (and trust me when I say that it was a concern with my family lol)? There are so many questions when choosing every detail. For me personally, I was willing to pay the price for the pictures and cut other things if necessary. Your wedding pictures is what lasts a lifetime. I chose him for his work! I had photographers that I was talking to that were charging more and less but at the end of the day I asked myself whose photos had depth and emotion, not just a pretty picture... That was Gonzalo by far!!! Gonzalo DOESN'T just snap through poses he has done with other couples and the only difference in them are the different faces... He works with your character, your energy and even your mood in ours case lol... My husband and his groomsmen were a hand full!!!! Wedding day they listened to his ideas and he listened to theirs and it was great team work!!! Wedding day was perfect!!!! He captured our moments so well I can feel that day when I look at our wedding photos!!! We also did a trash the dress session. Unfortunately for me, my husband wouldnt get into the water but i was still not disappointed thanks to Gonzalo! We had our wedding party with us for part of that session and they were all cranky! Gonzalo dealt with them with such grace and calmness that without noticing they all mellowed out as well! He has great energy!!! He was such a good sport with the boys that if I ever hear that a person is getting married I will recommend him even if it is not a destination wedding because he is that worth it!!!!and that's exactly what I did because I got married in Cabo so I had to fly him in. I can rave about Gonzalo all day!!! If you have any questions for me or would like to see his beautiful work of art I call my wedding pictures please email me adali1986@gmail.com or contact me through BDW. BTW when I have kids I plan on either flying us to Gonzalo or fly Gonzalo to NY for our family portraits because I know they will be fun and creative! I don't do boring, just ask Gonzalo ... He will never forget us!!! Anyways I can rave all day so if you want to here more email me. LOVE LOVE LOVE Gonzalo and our experience!!! Besides being a great photographer, he is a great person!!! We got to hang out with him before and after the wedding. He has made a friend in all of us! We will see him again! I am sure of it!

Pros: great pictures, friendly, flexible, very good price
Cons: none
I just got my pictures the day before yesterday. When I was watching them, I was blowing away and I was in tears.   Gonzalo's work captured the most precious moment in my life. The pictures have very high quality. My husband used to do photography himself and I had more than 10 professional kind cameras in my wedding which belong to my guests. It was so fun to see how pictures came out from different angles. When I shared Gonzalo's pictures with my guests, they are very impressed with his work.   I have almost 20 kids in the wedding. Gonzalo was so great to work with all my guests including the little ones. He was very friendly, very flexible to accommodate our requests. He is very fun to work with.   His assistant Lunic was great too. She was very good at creating creative shots.   Over all, Gonzalo is a fantastic artist. His work is amazing. I couldn't ask for more.

Pros: Communicates immediately, flexible, resonable prices, great work quality, helpful, friendly and photographer
Cons: None
I am mexican and live in the United States for many years. After many reviews, research and e-mails, I finally got in contact with Gonzalo Nunez. I really like photography, I have a very good sense of what I like and I know to distinguish good quality work.   He immeditely got back to my emails and mantained an incredible level of communication through all the process of schedualing a photo session with us. We chose an engagement session on our near by visit to the Riviera Maya, so we could have a sense of his work.   We had an amazing experience..........he is very professional, helped us to feel comfortable during the photo session and we got incredible pictures for our invitations and save the date magnets. We loved him so much that we really want him to be our photographer on our weeding day, in almost two months. We highly recommend him without hesitation.   I was very pleased that he was very resonable with prices and working with us in looking for the best options to follow our budget. Our wedding is in almost two months but I'm sure I will feel the same way with our wedding pictures.    He was also very nice in helping us looking for other providers for different services around the Riviera Maya. Gracias Gonzalo, looking forward to the BIG day!

Pros: creative, friendly, great and quick communication both pre and post wedding, great pricing options, fun, patient, professional, AMAZING!!
Cons: none
We got married in the Riviera Maya on 11/12/11. In planning the wedding, we were trying to keep costs down, but were also not satisfied with the resort's included photo package and the fact that we couldn't know exactly what photographer would be there, nor could we see samples of work. Needless to say I then started doing LOTS of research and contacted a number of photographers. Based on the reviews and prices I had seen from other BDW brides, Gonzalo seemed to be the best fit for our style, vision, and budget, without sacrificing quality. However, I was still a little hesitant to book such an important part of our wedding with someone so far a way with whom we wouldn't meet until the day of. Once I first emailed Gonzalo though, my nerves were immediately gone and I was sure that I'd be hiring the right person!! He was *extremely* prompt in responding to all my questions, and explained his background and passion for what he does. He is very experienced and well accomplished in his profession. As for the actual wedding day, he arrived hours before the wedding to help capture us getting ready and was there all the way to the end to capture everything in between. He was ninja-like in that he didn't stand out and I hardly noticed him, yet he got shots of everything! My friends and family really warmed up to him and still rave about how much fun he was to be around that day/night. Two days after the wedding we met back up to do the TTD shoot (which btw, he was very flexible on scheduling -- I ended up moving it around just a few days before the wedding due to planning a group excursion, and he was more than willing to accommodate our change in day). He picked us up at the resort and drove us around Puerto Morelos, stopping all over to take some shots when he saw something that stood out to his artistic eye. Then we ended up back near the resort and did the water shots before sunset. It was a really fun day!!   We are definitely no models and neither of us are too comfortable in front of the camera, but he was so easy to work with and worked to get a lot of great shots. Everyone has been so impressed by the pictures! Below are a few of our favorites:
Thank you Gonzalo -- you are an amazing photographer and we are so happy to have found you! We absolutely loved having you there capturing our special day!!

Pros: Artistic, fun, friendly, accessible, EVERYTHING!
Cons: No complaints here :)
My husband and I got married in Cancun, Mexico on December 9, 2011. We booked Gonzalo for a TTD session to have a fresh, fun shoot. However, once we got started I really didn't want to totally trash my dress, and he was totally cool about it. He really goes above and beyond to get to know you and make you feel comfortable... not to mention he produces seriously gorgeous photos!!! I would absolutely recommend him to everyone! I've attached two of our favorites...

Pros: Professional, passionate, creative, improvise, and fun to work with
Cons: Can't think of any
I felt so lucky to have Gonzalo shoot our wedding! The entire week we stayed in playa, our wedding at 3pm on 11/27 was the only time it rained. Despite gloomy weather and light situation, Gonzalo delivered many amazing shots, capturing the best moment! He went out his way to stay longer for our dance and reception, and ended up giving us many more pictures! We're so happy with pictures and definitely recommend him to every bride!   Don't even mention his tremendous help finding local vendors for flowers and cake (we were from Seattle, don't speak Spanish at all, and had a DIY wedding without professional planner). Gonzalo went out his way to call local vendors for me. He's such a great artist with passion and big heart. Definitely talk to him if you're looking for amazing photos!

Pros: Friendly, creative and passionate
Cons: I want more photo shoots with him!!!
Gonzalo Nunez - what an incredible man!   The moment you begin dealing with him you can feel his passion for his work and his clients.  There was positive energy oozing from his emails and phone calls.  Gonzalo was also very responsible, very reasonably priced and very flexible with packages and arrangement on the day.   On the day he was extremely punctual (ie, early!... also for the TTD session the next morning).  He interacted with me and the wedding party (and friends) really well so he managed to get a good idea of who was who on the day.  He moved around so easily and freely and you could tell he knew what he was doing.  I was not worried one bit that a moment of my wedding would not be captured!   The photos?  Incredible (and that's an understatement).  I have received so many compliments from friends, family and random people who are simply amazed at how stunning and impressive the pictures are - from the angles, the tones, the background, the lighting, the subjects and the expressions on our faces.  He truly captured the moments so well... so perfectly.   The TTD session was unbelievable and so were the pictures.  I felt (and looked!) like a mermaid in the cenote... so ethereal - simply breathtaking.  We also had pictures taken on the beach in Tulum and were able to get creative by doing handstands on the beach with the spectacular backdrop of the ruins and the sea.  People back home say they had never seen anything like it - that I should publish the pictures, that I should enter them into competitions... that I should simply enlarge them and hang them everywhere!  Yes, I am very proud of them :)   I was also fortunate to have time and Gonzalo for a boudoir session... I have never felt so sexy and he made me feel so comfortable.  I (and I believe my husband) love the photos!   We are trying to get Gonzalo to Australia to capture the wedding of my brother in-law... that's how much we loved his work and HIM!   Give me a call or send me an email if you want to ask any more question!!!

Pros: all
Cons: none
I just married in Mexico. After a little research in Google I found Gonzalo. I sent to him the first email, and I received an answer in the very same day, in fact in hours.   He was so important in my wedding day. He is kind, experienced, attentive to everything going on from the beginning to the end!
We don't have any experience in planning our wedding, but he was there, always helping with anything we asked.
His communication is fast and accurate, I am really trilled with his service.
I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Great service, professionalism and incredible photos.
Working with him was fun and easy, We still amazed with the photos he sent us!!
10 points!

Pros: Communication Excellent, Fun and Friendly,
I priced out and looked at alot of photographers for our Mayan wedding.  Photography was important to us but we didn't want to break the bank.   From the start Gonzalo gave 5 star service, he got back to all my emails and answered all my questions immediately.  He was very friendly and fun even over emails. His blog was beautiful, Mexico is a beautiful back drop to begin with but there was just something special about his photos.   We had Gonzalo for 10 hours on wedding day and 6 hours for TTD the following day.  Both days were fantastic.  He capture the meaningful moments, the fun moments and I know this only from the previews he gave us and the slide show he sent as the rest of the photos are in the mail, to arrive soon.   Trash the Dress day was spent in 3 different locations in Tulum; a cenote for underwater photos, a small resort in Tulum and a public beach in Tulum by the ruins.   The underwater photos in the cenote were the hardest thing to do,fun and exhausting, who knew looking romantic under water while holding your breath could be so hard but it was, the beach pictures were an incredibly good time and Gonzalo got down and dirty with us in all aspects of TTD he was rolling around in the ocean and at points I was afraid the waves would take him away.  He took us to a roadside taco stand for lunch and for a beer at a small pub toward the end of the day, where we got to chat and learn about Gonzalo and who he is as a person and not just Gonzalo the photographer. It was a very fun experience and I am very pleased with the photos so far.   I would highly recommend Gonzalo Nunez to any bride who wants good photos for a reasonable price. He is fun and friendly and takes great pride in his work.   Thanks again Gonzalo for the amazing memories you captured.   Denita & Rob.

Pros: Friendly, professional, easy going, gives direction well, very good communication in person and email
Cons: none : )
Gonzalo photographed our wedding in Cancun on November 5th, 2011. I can honestly say that I am beyond thrilled that we booked him. I did quite a bit of research and loved his work. In my opinion you couldn't find a better photographer for the money! He was very quick to respond to emails, and seemed very pleasant. From the moment he got to our resort he was so warm and friendly. He blended right in to the background while I was getting my hair done.  OH and he was a crowd favorite with my bridesmaids, while we were getting ready in the hotel room. He was charming and fun! The whole time we were doing the bride and groom session, he was coaching my husband along. My husband is NOT comfortable in front of the camera. After a little while it was cake for him! Gonzalo got some amazing shots for the group session on the beach but also took the such fun pictures of us in action during the reception. He knows all the right things to do to make you feel comfortable and yet sexy at the same time. He doesn't step on your toes or take away from you specail moments of the night, but yet captures them in such a beautiful way. His pictures speak for themselves. They are stunning! Not only will you get a very talented photographer, but also a very personable photographer who will have fun right along with you at your wedding! Definitely do yourselves a favor and book him!!!

Pros: Professional, Creative, Patient, Affordable
Our wedding experience at Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa on December 5, 2011 was nothing but FABULOUS!!!!! We had 5 months to organize a destination wedding and we had NO idea where to begin. Funny, the first thing we confirmed was our photographer Gonzalo Nunez. I was fascinated and intrigued with his creative work. After countless emails back and forth we have established an awesome relationship and friendship. Gonzalo loves photography and being creative. He puts his whole heart into his work and is extremely honest at what he does. Our wedding day was FABULOUS, but our TTD was even more EXCITING. Knowing how to swim is EXTREMELY important for the cenote pictures. Well- I do not swim!!!! Gonzalo made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. He was extremely patient and made it fun and enjoyable. Compared to other photographer's in the area, he was the most affordable and the MOST CREATIVE...    Thank you, Gonzalo for such an amazing time and a new friendship with you.. Get ready the whole family knows about you and will be contacting you for the future!!!!   Overall experience: AWESOME and FABULOUS

I booked Gonzalo Nunez back in the winder to take our Rivera Maya wedding photos!  I am SO glad I did! He was great to work with.  His creative imagination, his attention to detail... all amazing.  Gonzalo speaks great English, so he is easy to communicate with.  Also, if I asked him a question over email, he was very prompt on getting back to me.   99% of my family commented the day of the wedding on how great our photographer was and where did I find this guy.  I found him here.... on this website!   Besides the wedding, we also did a TTD session.  That had to have been one of my favorite moments.  We had so much fun... I want to do it again!   Thanks Gonzalo for capturing memories of the most important time in my life!  We love you!     HeatherViolet

Pros: Creative, kind, easy to work with, I can not say enough nice things!
I hope this works, because I have tired to post this 5 times now and it is not working, but I MUST post this review for everyone to see!   Where do I even begin?!  Gonzalo is absolutely AMAZING!  My Fiance and I meet with Gonzalo in New York City for our engagement photo shoot in the beginning of October.  ( I know my review is late, but better late than never!)  He is awesome, and it was worth every single second of our 8 hour trip from Pittsburgh, Pa to NYC to meet with Gonzalo!  Before we left for the big apple Gonzalo and I exchanged numerous emails.  He is very prompt at returning emails which for me is very important.  Never once did I wait over 24 hours to hear from him.  It was good to know that if I had a question I would have an answer with in 24 hours (although it was always much faster).  Through those emails we discussed what ideas my fiance and I had for our engagement photo shoot, and it is unbelievable to see what Gonzalo created from our simple ideas!  He is definitely the best!  We meet Gonzalo on the half way point of the Brooklyn Bridge and began our photo shoot there.  He made being in front of the camera very easy.  We felt so comfortable even though there were tons of people all around us!  It is crazy to look at our pictures because he captured the most beautiful pictures that makes it seems like it was just my fiance and me in the middle of NYC.  Mean while there were thousands of people all around!  It was rainy and cloudy weather for our entire weekend in NYC.  A photo shoot nightmare? or so you would think, but actually it was amazing!  The pictures Gonzalo created in the weather conditions we had are absolutely breath taking and I have no clue how he does it!  There is not one picture that he sent to us that we do not LOVE.  I honestly can not say enough wonderful things about him!  He was able to take a brick wall and turn it into a beautiful background of an amazing picture!  He defintely knows what he is doing and he is very very good at it!  I am very picky when it comes to pictures (especially things that involve my wedding) and Gonzalo more than exceeded my expectations.  He is just wonderful!  My fiance and I feel truly honored that we had the opportunity to work with Gonzalo!  (especially in NYC)  If you have an questions or would like more information about my experience with Gonzalo please feel free to contact me!  I have all the confidence that you will be more than thrilled with Gonzalo's work!     And now I will let the pictures speak for themselves!  Here are a few of our Favorites!

Pros: easy to work with, great ideas, excellent communication, fun
Cons: none
My husband and I got married in Texas. I've heard about TTD and I tough it would be a good idea for our honeymoon.
After some days of research we found Gonzalo. Immediately I felt in love with his work.
He is very helpful, and always in time in his emails. In the first mail I already know that he would be my photographer. At the time of the session, he showed his skills, running, climbing rocks, diving, we spent the best time in La Riviera with him!
The pictures come out great!
Thank you Gonzalo.

Pros: Gonzalo is very professional. He listens to what your expectations are and accommodates to your needs. Had so much fun doing trash, awesome experience
Cons: Can we have more space to list the Pros instead of Cons?
AAfter weeks and weeks of research, we've decided to bring our own photographer from home. Seemed like a good idea at first, after reading about a bride who had hired an amateur photog trying to build their portfolio for a fraction of the cost. So we put down a deposit into our group booking and hoped to find a decent photog just starting out. I had posted an ad in our community looking for THE photog and received 50+ emails. I looked through their portfolios one by one very carefully. But as time passed by, I got worried with several 'What if' questions. What if he/she suddenly bails right before our wedding? What if he doesn't capture the right moments? What if we're there and we don't get along too well... Etc. Every day I browsed through bestdestionationweddings for advice from previous brides. Then saw Gonzalo's ad. I went to his blog, and instantly felt that we've found our photographer. We've sent several emails back and forth, he was very prompt with his replies. We decided to give up the deposit for bringing a photog from home and went with Gonzalo instead. On the day of the wedding, he came early to scope around the resort. While putting on make up, someone knocked on my door. I opened and saw a handsome man (after my husband of course) standing in front of me. We talked about the schedule and Gonzalo started taking pictures. The wedding was beautiful and the pictures (although I have not received all of them yet) were amazing. I had asked if he could upload some pictures for a slideshow during our at home reception. Trash the following day was unforgettable. He took us to places that we would not have been able to see if we were at the resort. Gonzalo was like a tour guide/ photographer. We first went to the cenote and the water was beautiful to swim in. Gonzalo is a fantastic diver who is certified and has all the appropriate gear to shoot magnificent pictures underwater. He also observes for natural light which is very important in photography. I had asked him if we could add a few more pictures to show more of Mexico and he was very accommodating with my requests. He asked around different places to get permission to take pictures and we were able to get some pics aound the cabañas. The beach he took us was absolutely beautiful and we had a lot of fun. It was a long day for us and for Gonzalo but we had an amazing experience. All of our friends and family complimented on his work. Can't wait to see the rest of the pics which is on its way! Gonzalo LOVES what he does and you can see this when you meet him in person. I would highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a great photographer with a positive attitude, open to new ideas, and can provide you with beautiful memories captured in the eyes of an artist. Thank you Gonzalo for doing an awesome job and an unforgettable experience!
