Hi everyone! I am a Suites bride too. We are getting married July 22, 2012. Save the dates went out several weeks ago. We need to get the photographer nailed down. I have several quotes, it is just making the final decision and reserving. Hopefully by the end of the month we'll be done with that piece. I have started to collect a bunch of the free stuff on VistaPrint to use for different things. Between designing stuff on VistaPrint, DIY projects and Etsy, a girl can go crazy. So many fun things to do! We did get our wedding bands, so that was a big one we checked off of the list. I love them! Luckily our jeweler is keeping them for us or I would want to be wearing it. So many more things to do..

Your centerpieces and cake look fabulous! Was this a standard cake or did you upgrade the flowers? Did you or anyone else take the knives for cake cutting with you or did the Suites provide them? I hadn't really thought about trying to take a knife with us (airport security), so I am really hoping they provide something nice to use.

My philosophy is falling off is okay as long as you get right back on. At least that is what I am telling myself when I have a bad day. Seems I can't string more than 4 days together of being really good before I make a bad decision. Still trying to break some of my bad habits. The weekends are really killing me with bbqs and so many things to do. The scale is still going down, just slower and slower. A loss is still a loss though...

We are also booked on a Sunday. It was our first choice of days, so I don't know what else was available. We also booked Feb. 2011.

WOW... that is a lot of unwanted stress leading into the wedding. The travel part has been the most stressful part for me so far, but I can't image the resort changing dates on the group.

Can you confirm that as part of the wedding package we get decorations on the huppa? I remember ready that, but don't know exactly what that means. I am just wondering what the basic huppa looks like that is included, and then we can spice it up from there. If anyone has a picture of the huppa decor that is in the package at the Suites, I would love to see it.

Well, back from the long holiday weekend and back on track. I'm seeing that a lot of people are doing the Shred, P90x and other programs. Can anyone let me know their review of these? I am basically using my elliptical for now, but I can already tell it is going to get boring pretty quickly. I'd love to hear some first hand accounts of what you like and don't like about these programs.

Hi Everyone! Just found this thread, it is awesome! Exactly what I need to stay focused. I'm a July 2012 bride determined to drop the pounds. I joined WW many years ago and lost close to 70lbs., but of course have put it all back on. Now I am on a mission to drop it for good. 2 weeks in and I am down 8.5lbs. Looking forward to getting to know 'less' of everyone...

We are planning to do the coffee, rum and jerk seasoning in our welcome bags... along with some other items. This allows our guests to take the taste of Jamaica home with them. Since our guests will get the loaded down welcome bags, I was thinking of just doing star fish bottle openers with the place cards as a little favor at the wedding.
