My understanding is that all of the a la cart restaurants require long pants from the men. I have read they are more lax with young children to allow them to wear shorts, but not the men.

If you get any feedback on the $20 centerpieces from them, I would love to hear about it. I was just going to use my bridesmaid bouquets as my table centerpieces, but that $20 price would make things easier and the orchids in a vase filled with water would be exactly what I would want anyway. WOW... everything is incredible!!!! You, your husband, and your guests all look like they had a wonderful time. Congratulations!

I am only using a TA to book the resort stay and airfare for my guests. I am then coordinating the wedding with the WC at the resort. I didn't want to have to deal with all of the travel plans of our guests, but I still wanted to plan the details of my wedding. I read how hard it can be to coordinate with the WC at the resort sometimes, so I didn't want to add another person to the process to get my questions answered about the wedding. Luckily I have been very lucky and the WC has gotten right back to me.

I think the Suites is pretty much the same as the Beach resort. Here is the language out of the package I received... Our wedding package is for 2 to 8 people. Groups of more than 8 people will be charged an additional fee of $18 USD per each extra guest [iberostar Rose Hall Suites Guests] (Incl. GCT and service charge). Children under the age of 12 are free of charge.

I also asked all my girls pretty much right away. I wish I had done cards or something more meaningful, but oh well. I was so excited I couldn't wait... LOL. My FI has not asked any of the guys yet though. He wants to wait until they book so that they don't feel pressure to go.

I know that many of the past brides on here have used Rashel for their make-up and I love her work. I was wondering though, does she just do your make-up and hair (her assistant) or your bridal parties too? I am looking to have 4 bridesmaids, so there would be 5 of us having hair and make-up done. I didn't know if she and her assistant would be able to do everyone. Also, is that too many people to get ready in the same room? Just wondering what others have done or are planning to do with a larger group.

I totally and completely agree with you... but my wedding is in July, not May. hahaha... I would go absolutely insane stressing myself out. May is when everyone's final payment it due, so I am going with the notion that people will have made up their mind before that point. Then I have over 2 months to plan all of the details.
