    Welcome to the forum. We decided against all-inclusive because we have several guests that do not drink that much. Our guests will prefer the flexibility although we are trying to get everyone to stay at the same hotel. Good luck making your decision. The location was one of the hardest parts for us.

    We're planning the same thing! Travel theme so we used airplane tickets for the invitations and will have passport books for the welcome letter and other info, We are making luggage tags for the seating cards too. We are just starting to design our books so I am scouring for information too. Good luck! Can't wait to see how they turn out.

    WOW! Thanks for all the inspiration ladies!!! There are some really beautiful ideas listed on here. Now I just have to choose which direction to go. I will definitely post when I have my final inspiration or sample centerpiece.

    We're planning to keep it super simple and just go with the cake from our hotel. We have asked to keep the cake clean without any flowers - just the simple white frosting decorations. I just have not decided on a cake topper yet! We also want to serve Mexican wedding cookies with the cake to mix it up a bit.

    Thanks for posting this info. My fiance is way into music so he really wants to put our playlist together, but I am really happy to have some examples to show him. We are using a program called Djay for Macs to mix the playlist so it will sound more professional and not have lulls.

    I like the idea of inviting everyone, but one of the reasons we are doing a destination is because our family and friends are all over the country. We'll definitely have to invite all of the people close to out AHR.

    Congrats!!! My fiance and I are getting married on Isla Mujeres as well. We have rented Playa la Media Luna for our event at the end of January. I've never been there, but will be happy to answer any questions you might have when we get back at the beginning of February. Cheers! D

    I'm curious...how did it go?!? Were you able to get the vases down with little or no damage? Did the glass in your carry-on cause any problems with security? I really like this idea, but am concerned about traveling with them. BTW, I agree with everyone else they are beautiful. You did a great job! Can't wait to hear the update!

    Thanks for the information! I got in just in time and ordered 10 table runners for $12 (plus $9 shipping). Sad they were out of royal blue, but the orange will work just as well and was actually cheaper. :-)

    My fiance designed these in photoshop. All of the paper supplies, stamps and ink are from Stampin' Up. The raffia and shell bead are from Michael's. We used 3 travel-themed rubber stamps on each "ticket" and the outside belly band.

    We are having our wedding on Isla Mujeres off the coast of Cancun and then plan to honeymoon in Tulum. We have not booked our honeymoon hotel yet and time is starting to get away from us. Any suggestions for a great hotel, possibly all-inclusive (but not giant resort), for late January 2011?
