    We have reserved an entire hotel with 22 rooms. My FI and I are arriving a day early so I am hopeful that the hotel will put them in each of the rooms. Or, maybe we will be able to put them in the rooms ourselves.

    I have felt weird about this too. I think it is self projection. I have not felt bad about going to other showers, parties, etc so why should I feel bad having one. I think it is just hard for some people to be the center of attention and I am one of those people.

    Newbie - PV 2011

    As an update, we have chosen our location. We're still going to Mexico, but switched coasts and are now getting married at Playa la Media Luna on Isla Mujeres off the coast of Cancun. Date is set for January 21, 2011 and we have 33 guests that have RSVP'd. With less than 5 months to go, I am really getting excited!
