Congratulations and welcome to the forum! There is a ton of information on here. I would recommend doing a search and going from there. I know that I have had a hard time finding timely information sometimes, but keep looking.
  2. Congratulations and welcome (officially) to the forum. I love the look and feel of Las Caletas. Good luck making your decision!
  3. Congrats and welcome to the forum. Deciding on a location was the most stressful thing for us so far. Good luck making your decision. We decided on Isla Mujeres because it is fairly easy to get to, beautiful and laid back.
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum! You will find out that there is a ton of helpful information on here.
  5. Beautiful pictures! We visited Karen's last January and loved it. They have amazing food too.
  6. You are a beautiful bride! I absolutely love your bright colors too.
  7. Thanks for posting this coupon! I go there all the time and hate looking for the coupons each time.
  8. Thanks for the heads up. I am really close to 150 and it's good to know that it's not automatic. I would have been worried!
  9. I ordered the pumpkin satin table runners and just got them today. They definitely are not the best quality, but are pretty much what I expected. I am happy with the color. Sorry your order did not work out. Maybe they sent you the wrong color. Or maybe you can switch out for the same type of material. Good luck!
  10. Here's mine. It's a round sapphire with a diamond in the band on each side. We are designing a custom band with some family stones to match.
  11. I love this idea, but unfortunately I do not think it will fit in our budget. :-(
  12. These are great! They have my wedding colors too. Thanks for posting. Hopefully they will fit in my budget at they end of the day.
  13. These are awesome! I wish I were that good with my sewing machine. I am tackling fabric luggage tags right now and it's proving to be a bit difficult.
  14. We sent out electronic STDs about 7 months out and "airplane ticket" invitations about 4 months out. One of the things I love about DW is that they are less formal so you have more flexibility to do what you want.
  15. Agreed. Get to the important stuff right away! This way you make sure it's captured on film and guests that cannot stay late get to participate too.
  16. @cgeris - I love this idea. It's a great way to accommodate another guest book without having to buy another one or spend a lot of money. I can add the "well wishes" to our DW guestbook and the AHR guests will not feel bad because they won't even see it.
  17. Wow @Tessab123, you are really prepared. Our DW is January 21, 2011 and our AHR is April 16, 2011. Thankfully I can focus on the wedding now and AHR later. However my future MIL is helping me plan and starting to ask more questions. I have to remind myself that she is just trying to be helpful since my fiance and I are doing pretty much everything for the wedding.
  18. Love the candles! I'm going to have to see if my Michael's has them. Great price with the 40% off.
  19. Oh wow. That's rough. I like the idea of the lace up or using the dress from ebay for fabric. Good luck and let us all know how it works out!
  20. Beautiful! We are designing a band that will fit with my e-ring since it has a bit of a unique curve to it. I also am planning to use some family stones so it will have more sentimental value. As if there's not enough already.
  21. My fiance and I are pretty much in the same boat. We decided to register on Amazon and HoneyFund. Our items on Amazon are pretty out there. We have camping gear, rock climbing equipment and other random items on there. HoneyFund covers items like season passes for snowboarding and money for our honeymoon. I know it's not traditional, but we're not very traditional people anyway.
