  3. I love the look with a bunch of fabric! Especially when the breeze kicks up. If I could figure out how to post pictures I'd add the one I sent to my WC for our arch
  4. I've never seen these at Tiffany. Also where do you keep getting all of this jewelry? This is obviously not still left over from your wedding.
  5. Did you guys read about what Reality Steve had to say about last night and Rozlyn?? I don't know if I buy it though. He basically says that the show made the girls (like Ella and the other women) lie that they saw Rozlyn hooking up with the producer. Basically that's why they kept Rozlyn sequesterd and off stage except for when she was being interviewed (she came on, interviewed, and then was taken away again). Thoughts?
  6. Wow those are amazing! Where is the dock/pier at? I'm getting married in St. Thomas and doing a TTD the next day. I looove that pic and would love to steal the idea

They were really cute Here is a detail shot of the flowers. We asked our florist to use inexpensive varieties for the tables (and splurged on the bouquet/boutonniere flowers since those were more important to me). I know the vases had green kermit mums, alstroemeria, and green hypericum berries. Wow those are gorgeous! I would never know that you didn't splurge on these too. Very pretty!
  8. Kate, I'm getting married at Lindquist. There's pros and cons of both Lindquist and Magen's. Magen's is pretty and has bathroom facilities, etc., for guests but tends to get very busy(especially on heavy cruise days). Lindquist is more secluded, no bathrooms, but a lot less people. Does she have a coordinator? I think there are probably shaded areas on both beaches. I know Magen's has those two big palm trees a lot of people get married between. Also if she had a late morning ceremony (like 10:30) she wouldn't have to worry too much about the sun.
  9. Super cute flower girl type dresses on sale right now by Lilly Pulitzer!
  10. Wow thanks for the tip! I just have to decide if I want to pay for the shipping though (since I'm pretty sure our bags will already be filled to the brim with the other stuff!)
  11. RueLaLa has MaxMara on sale tomorrow (hopefully good "resort" wear) and Lily Pulitzer on Monday (I think) which would be good BM gifts PM with your email address if you need an invite!
  12. Those are gorgeous! I'm also really curious about how you're getting everything down there. This is exactly the look I want too, but I know I won't have the room, or weight available in my suitcases to take these. I also figured I'd spend just as much shipping them down.
  13. I also know that, for me, eating carbs makes me hold onto weight. I plan on trying to skip most carbs for two days before the wedding (except a little low-carb alcohol). Also I'm going to stay a mile away from salt (and pickles haha which are a weakness). Then make sure to drink as much water as possible the day before, which really helps shed some water weight.

  15. I was talking to a friend of mine that goes in the Tempe/Phoenix area and she said a guy at her studio just finished 500 classes in 400 days! That's crazy! I thought the 60 day challenges were crazy!
  16. You ladies read my mind! I bloat very easily (and then my fingers swell and I can barely get my damn ring off which is a WHOLE other wedding issue I foresee).
  17. I decided, last minute, that I want a veil, but I do not really feel the need to spend a lot of money buying a brand new one. Anyone have a white one that they would like to sell? If so, email me a pic and price to [email protected] Thanks!
  18. WOW that's amazing! I hope I can find that deal but I'm afraid it is some sort of fluke!
  19. Caprice was my second choice! I looooved the back. You're right though I wasn't a fan of the Reese's front (I'm chesty so it didn't look good). Glad you like it - I'm jealous. It's so sexy yet classy DEH - it's so funny because that's exactly what we called it at the store. The mullet dress
  20. I'm getting married in St. Thomas, and I think there are a lot of great hotels and restaurants available. Also it's easy to get to and no passport necessary for the guests. Just something to think about! Also flights to St. T are not that expensive.
  21. I am only having a MOH and I'm having that same problem too. It's more that she wants a certain style of dress that is flattering for her body type and we've had a hard time finding that. Really I think it's hard to find dresses that are not strapless. I did like this dress from Macy's but I think she's not into the halter type. Nine West Dress, Sleeveless Cotton Necklace Halter - Party Dresses Dresses - Women's - Macy's Also check out Ann Taylor and JCrew because they had some of their bridesmaid dresses on sale. Do you have a specific color you want? This brown one is really tropical and flowy too INC International Concepts Dress, Printed Sleeveless with Beaded Keyhole Dress - Casual Dresses Dresses - Women's - Macy's
  22. I'm a Vicki fan too It's actually starting to pi$$ me off how they portray her compared to the other housewives. The editing portrays her as an emasculating beotch, but I do think she is just a strong successful woman. The new one, Alexis, drives me crazy. Can that girl get an independent thought PLEASE?!
  23. I think if they are invited to the reception then they can be invited to the shower! I'm not having a reception and only invited about 40 or so to the wedding, so we decided not to have a shower. We didn't invite a lot of FI's family because we knew they couldn't afford a week in the Virgin Islands, but I feel like they should be at a shower (because I've gone to all of their's!) so we just decided not to have one Good luck!
