  1. Wow I love them all! I'm just as indecisive as you I agree with the other girls pics though and that you'll look great in all of them. What are you leaning towards? Up, down, or half-up?
  2. It's a online invite shopping site, similar to RueLaLa, and it has really cute little clutches and purses for sale today. PM me with your email if you want an invite!
  3. Hmm I have heard of a 60 day Burpee challenge or 100 Burpees (which is where you jump up, squat down, pushup = 1 burpee then bring knees up to chest jump back up and start over). I'm going to check this out!

  5. I didn't end up liking any of the Calvin Klein suits But I also saw that there is some resort wear type sales coming up too! PM me and give me your email address if you want an invite!

  7. He picks Vienna. The spoilers are really never wrong. I just saw that! Also am I the ONLY one that didn't know she was married before?! I knew Tennley was. WEIRD.
  8. Okay so I am really jealous of you brunettes with brown eyes Especially when it comes to the makeup ideas! I'm a pretty fair (I will be a little more tan on my wedding day) with blonde hair and blue eyes and I'm having a really hard time finding makeup ideas that are natural, but will make my eyes pop. Any ideas? Thanks!
  9. Oh good call on the swimwear! I almost bought some French Connection dresses too - very cute ones on there!
  10. Oh and I totally agree that your eyes were the best - and these pics are given me great ideas for my b-pic shoot in a few weeks.
  11. Wow those are gorgeous pics and some really hot bedroom eyes You got my vote!
  12. Hmmm now I'm really bummed. I am having about 35 people at my wedding and I ended up deciding against chairs. With the per chair price and delivery fee it was going to be $400-500. I couldn't justify spending that much for the 15 minutes the ceremony will likely be. Also we do not have any elderly guests coming. The one person that might have a problem standing that long, we will just bring a chair for. One of the reasons we chose a destination wedding was so that it would be casual and less expensive, so I think I'm going to stick with the no chair decision.
  13. Does anyone happen to be selling their P90x? I'd be interested. PM me!
  14. We are having our reception at a private villa in St. Thomas. It will be outside around the pool so I wanted to somehow decorate the pool and discovered some floating Chinese paper lanterns. As I researched I found that this is actually the way the Chinese memorialized those that had past. So I plan on having a lantern for each person we want to remember (grandparents) and a little explanation in a frame possibly somewhere near the pool.
  15. Matthew - that is gorgeous (not really appropriate for my beach wedding but VERY cool) ! I love Indian weddings, so much tradition and color
  16. Alexbride - I can kind of understand where you are coming from. I do think it's okay for them to take travel expenses out for themselves, but other than that I think you should get the same amount. My fiance's parents gave money for his bro's traditional wedding, and so far haven't said anything to us about paying for anything. That is fine, but it would just be nice to know either way I guess. We both have great jobs and do not want nor expect help from our parents (mine are doing it anyway after much protest from me) but with less than 3 months to go and almost everything booked and half-paid for it would be good to know for planning purposes Good luck!
  17. Hmm I actually don't know anything about that place! I know girls on here really like the Marriott. I'm getting married on Lindquist and staying in a private villa. Some of our guests are staying at Bolongo Bay Resort, Secret Harbour and Sapphire Beach, all of which I have read good things on. Good luck!
  18. Great idea! I ordered hankies off Etsy, but that's so cool that you incorporated your dress too!
  19. I actually cannot eat anything for about 3 hours before class. And my snacks need to be something without dairy and nothing heavy. I have lost 10 pounds in the last couple weeks doing it. Partly because of the sweating, but also because I have found that what I eat before I go really affects how much I want to throw up or pass out so I eat much healthier and much less on those days haha Good luck!
  20. Hey ladies just wanted to let you know about my great find this weekened! I had heard Target had "For Dummies" books in their $1 bins, but I thought they were all Spanish for Dummies (which wouldn't work for me since my wedding is in St. Thomas). But they had Cocktails for Dummies, Brain Teasers (word puzzles) for Dummies and Sodoku for Dummies! So I snatched up a bunch of them!
  21. Nadine, I'm with you! I am a reality show junky, and have watched most of the bachelor/bachelorette series, but jake drives me crazy. After being filled in by a coworker (who is obessed with the show) his real story from last season I think he's about the fakest one on there (with the exception of jason mesnick who takes the cake in fakeness) haha. Sorry ladies if you like Jake! Don't mean to bash him! Oh and yes I am still watching it anyway And Michelle is COO-COO!
  22. I've gone 3 times in the past 6 days (Tuesday, Thursday and Today) and I have lost all of my holiday weight and then some for a grand total of 7 pounds! This is also because when I go to Bikram after work I am very careful about what I eat and how much I eat during the day. Also, I really do feel like it detoxes your body, even better than those cleanses being sold this time of year. And I do think my posture and flexibility is improving already. Good luck!
  23. Welcome Monica and tntnum! I'm getting married in St. Thomas in April, but I unfortunately cannot recommend any advice on resorts. I will have about 40 guests, but we are staying in villas (and have the reception at our villa). We do have some guests staying at both the Marriott and Bolongo Bay though. Both are very nice, but depends on what type of formality you are looking for (and price). I know a lot of brides on here have recommended the Marriott - it is gorgeous, but it will be more expensive. Bolongo Bay will be more affordable for guests (and offers an all-inclusive option if they want that), but is family-owned without all the bells and whistles of the Marriott (but still pretty). Good luck!
