  1. people do not communicate well much these days. technology serves as a crutch and enabler to not have to deal face to face, or the human factor.
  2. good luck to you both. he is very luck to have you in his life

In big cities that have real crime problems, they might not show and you'll get off. Either way, I totally think you should go if for no other reason than to piss the cop off. I have gotten off in the past by caling the curthouse to reschedule the court date for a day the cop will be off. As Foxy said, most times the cops get OT to show up so they will nowadays more than likely, but worth a try. If you can't get it for a day the cop is off and it will be thrown off, talk to the cop BEFORE you head into court and talk down your points if there are any associated with your ticket. Best of Luck!
  4. Oh wow! that is unbelievable.....I would charge her for the things I gifted her!
  5. Best of luck Amber Lynn--I think the girls have summarized it all nicely and I will just add that for the simple fact that she is blowing you off speaks to something going on with he because I can't imagine a BFF being that rude intentionally. This situation may allow you to see what is really going on and in the end determine if she remains as close of a friend or not. Just take time to think ut through and by all means DEMAND your money back.
  6. your wc will do this and have someone from your party as an oversight role
  7. i think its cute, comedy and his contribution..not a big deal IMO
  8. I am glad you were able to negotiate. I have learned that nothing beats a try especially when it comes to money!! Good luck with planning!
  9. harty - As usual I am sitting her dying with laughter, not at your unfortunate mishaps but your way with words! OMG. I am glad to hear that most of your problems were resolved in the end and that you had a great wedding despite so many problems. Wow--it was a whirlwind of issue after issue, but thankfully you do not take any prisoners so I am sure they marched to YOUR beat. Can't wait to view the photos!!
  10. Yes you can absolutely change. I would give a heads up if you are definitely changing to the WC. We downgraded to the royal package and added in extra a la carte with Tai Floral.
  11. I am so sorry to hear all that you are experiencing. I think the girls gave great advice as usual but would add seeing a therapist first may be good first before being prescribed an anti-depressant or maybe obe could overlap the other. I say that becasue sometimes it takes talking thru things and determining the root cause which helps turnaround our perspective and how we make a choice to view our situations..KWIM? I hope you pull through this soon. Big Hugs..
  12. WOW WOW. I am so glad everything is working out for you!
  13. U have to make boundaries with your family and gently, yet firmly put them back in their lane when they cross the line. This is so ridiculous and so a non-issue!! Please dont let it get to you anymore---stand up for yourself now or else this will be the first of many stressful events...
  14. Oriental trading, bliss wedding market...
  15. I wore a french cut sleeve cotton shirt and jeans with high heeled boots (it was winter). I had my runnig shoes as well. You cant go wrong with jeans a comfie shirt, lip gloss, and big sunglasses and earrings.
  16. Whew calm down! You will send us an update telling us you got your date (YAAAY), don't stress my dear. Take a breather..please!!
  17. very funny....as long as he is kidding..lol
  18. wow i never paid much attention to google's G1 phone.
  19. This is a very timely post and to piggy back on mummergirl it is so true that the Gov't under the guise of "protection" makes these vaccines mandatory and threatens parents to run and inject our children with these vile so called preventative meds. Now don't get me wrong, there are a limited few that are effective, however, the majority do not prevent diseases and build up antibodies any more than a healthy diet does. Knowledge is power so I would recommend reading (the good bad and ugly) up on the ingredients that these vaccines are made up of and the kickback ( the pharmacetucial companies get including the doctors ) when they administer these to people. It is a sad day when you can't trust some of the conspiracies that take place between the pharmaceutical companies and their bedfellow the government.... I would love to find out if any BDW girls that live in Jersey know of a good source for vaccination waivers, etc.
  20. I came across this info for anyone interested...Hot off The Press….Here's a summertime treat! The Young and the Restless's Billy Miller (Billy Abbott) and Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) are set to get all wet! Well, maybe not, but they'll be appearing at the 'hurricane harbor' water park at Six Flags - Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey on July 26! As part of the Soap Opera Festival that day, the two amazing Y&R actors will appear in shows at both 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM!
  21. that is so sad. and the airlines are crying no liability i am sure....totally devastating.
  22. I think some of these story lines are fillers and to also gauge the development of the next story line. Like Michael for instance, his part has ebbs and flows, however, I really don't see Lauren's significance.. She bores me!
  23. so good to hear from you savannah! YOU WERE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
  24. feel better..try a blend of cayenne pepper, lemon juice...works wonders for the throat. you will be fine for the wedding..you are prb stressing yourself out
