    I was floored when I saw that and utterly grossed out! I cannot believe people can be so gross! I hope they get serious jail time 4 that! And then to be so stupid to videotape it?! I don't think they really cared.

    She would drive me banans..Tell her one more question from her and she will no longer be in the wedding or welcome. She will back off I am sure. Seriously tell her all the pressure is not helping the situation and you are not committing to anything other than what is absolutely essential to wedding plannng. Good luck...I would shut that down right away!!

    Please don't scream but consider yourself very fortunate. I am sure you prepared yourself for if an offer cam in quickly or if it did not. Either way, good luck with planning, pay someone else to do all the dirty work for you!

    wow not sure what to say about this, other than unless you two want to keep separate residences and continue to visit some compromises have to be made. It will be very hard to adjust I am sure and give up your space, etc but that is a joint decision you two have probably discussed already and decided it would be his house you move in to. As someone else mentioned, just talk this through, especially since this can't be avoided. Good luck

    There is of course James Patterson and Mary Higgins Clark if you love suspense/drama. For suspense/romance and drama I love Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown, etc. Steve Harvey has a great book out--Act like A LAdy and Think Like a MAn that is an EXCELLENT read. Gave away all men's dirty little secrets......

    Hey AZ girl, I so hate the Sharon we now see too!! So needly, pliant and batty! But I also could not stand the fact that Phyllis would get away without having her payday for what she did to Sharon....I am not sure who else these folks can sleep with and with the recession who knows if they will hire fresh meat or bring someone back from the dead!

    I drink approx 20 oz pr day. I have now started making my own blended coffee drink and its so yummy! 16 oz milk 1 tblsp Maxwell house Coffee 4 cubes Ice 2 tblsp vanilla 7 packets Splenda or 1 tsp Stevia 1/8 tsp xanthum gum (optional --if you want it a tad thick) Blend! Enjoy...

    This is a tough one and there is a thread on it. Most girls felt it was rude to ask someone you are inviting to pay the day pass, unless it was for persons that were not on list that decided to come were on their own. It was tough to ask them so in the end, we asked the hotel to do was to charge me the day pass fees onto my hotel bill, that way if they did not show, we would not have to pay for the no-shows.

    I personally say the blue would clash as well as the orange. I am 100% for the all white linen suit and white shirt. My DH wore all white, as did I and the pics were stunning. His bout had color and it all came out lovely. You can check my pics and review to judge for yourself.

    Wow Ayita--I am saddened to hear of this-what a shame! However, it restores my faith when I see such support from all the beautiful,kind and supportive girls from BDW,always at the ready with kind words and a ton of resources. Everything will work out and you MUST write a follow-up to let us know how everything went!

    I think its okay to state along lines of Ms Manners and reiterate that you do not want to have any gifts. If people still choose not to compy, then really--there is no harm no foul is there? At the end of the day, realize you are cherished and blessed to have great supportive folks around you!

    I am mad at you for even considering paying for the unknowns. Tell them you have a count and anything over that will put you over budget which you cannot afford. People need to understand that their presumptiousness is not a green light for you to put yourself in debt.

    Always err on the side of conservative.A nice pants suit or skirt and suit jacket with appropriate stockings and you will be fine. Avoid pastels and stick with the muted tones.

    Firstly, I would recomend undoing outting down a deposit for anyone, especially since you lost your job. You will find that people, even though most mean well, will do things in their own time. I would suggest you let your TA do the leg work and for now, try to get enough of a deposit from your folks to hold your cotract intact. You ave plenty of time so just let the TA determine all the details and get it out to our folks. Plan a contingency also in case you have to re-do any group bookings. Good luck!
