  1. I would highly recommend Franc Gole Salon. http://www.francgole.com/ingles/index.html He did my hair and his makeup artist did my makeup and I was so impressed. He is amazing with what he can do for hair and his makeup artist is a magician!
  2. I got married on a Friday night at Dreams and had our reception on Las Palmas Terrace. We honestly never even heard the Mexican Fiesta night. They blocked off the little bridge that connected our pool to the main pool so no guests could come up there and it was great! Â We had the ipod/speaker set up for about 30 guests and it worked out great! We definitely didn't need a dj for that many and we were able to control our song list so that was really nice. We didn't have Rebeca make any of the annoucements for cake or anything like that we just kinda decided when it was a good time to cut the cake. And in terms of volume it is really easy to just run up and change it if you need to, it will be set up in really close proximity to the dance floor.
  3. I would totally recomend FracGole http://www.francgole.com/ingles/index.html  I used his salon for my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids. And I was sooo impressed. Not only with the skill and experience but he speaks very good english and is from Canada. Just send an email and he will send you a price list, he does come to your hotel if you want. I went to his salon which is really nice so don't be afraid to go there too! Here is a pic of my hair on my wedding day:
  4. I used spanx on the big day but just the underwear version. Once I got over the fact that I was wearing pretty much granny panties on big day the helped hold in the pooch and weren't very hot at all! I have also tried the leggings and they are so not comfortable but really do hold you in if you need to be held in certain places.
  5. I got married at Dreams on May 14th at 4:30pm and our guests fried so earlier wasn't the best in my case! I felt so bad for them because it was oohhh so hot out, our wedding day was the hottest day in 90 days (thanks mother nature!). So we took a couple pictures after the ceremony, let the guests enjoy the cocktail hour and our photog took us around the resort for some bride and groom shots. Then we went back and had dinner, then when the sun started to set our photog took everyone out on the beach and took advantage of the sunset. It wasn't the most ideal situation but we did get to enjoy the reception from 7:30pm-10:30pm which was really nice!
  6. Here is one from Google Images, it is the real wall, I saw it when I was married there in May. It isn't that impressive in person and I never saw anyone actually climbing on it. Although my SIL and her gf climbed it but said it wasn't that hard. So I wouldn't base your whole stay on the wall. If you are on Facebook, Dreams PV has a page and they are really quick to respond to questions on there if you want to ask them more about it.
  7. I used Nate Broshot and he is hands down one of the best decisions I during the entire planning process. He was amazing. He took time to scout out locations for our TTD shoo; was always quick to respond to emails; I never felt like I was bothering him when I would email him questions; he worked under Elizabeth Lloyd in PV for a couple years so he has plenty of experience; he has shot many BDW brides weddings and everyone has great reviews; even though he has shot weddings at dreams before he didn't repeat locations that I had seen on his blog for other weddings; he was so likeable and easy going my wedding party was in love with him. Overall though my pictures are amazing from one of the most important days of my life. I am still debating on which ones I want to blow up to put on the walls bc there really are so many to choose from I don't know where to start! In my eyes he would be the best choice! Check out his blog at www.licensetostill.com! Â Ohh and Dreams didn't charge me a fee for bringing Nate in, all we had to do is give Rebeca his name and she put him on the list to get in the door.
  8. We are 5 years apart. He is 32 and I am 28 .
  9. Tungsten doesn't come in anything but whole and half sizes unfortunately, no quarter sizes! But what you could look for is different fits in the tungsten rings, some have the inside more snug which means the 10 will fit better. My FI got the "comfort fit" and he was an 11.75 and the 12 fit great!

  11. I just ordered some awesome placecard holders and table number holders from Le Gallery Boutique on Etsy! Stacy was sooo easy to work with and was even willing to meet me in Scottsdale with the order since I will be there on vacation in two weeks! I would highly recommend her! I ordered the natural shell place holders and the silver starfish table number holders. I also ordered my awesome hair flower from Mikiye Creations. Her service and quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend her!

He is soo nice and used to be Elizabeth Lloyd's second shooter before going out on his own. He actually lives back in the states now, but will travel to PV for your wedding!
  13. I agree I would just be totally up front and honest with her as well. And you never know maybe she could price match! Also think that her doing everyones travel could get stressful on her and does she want to play TA during the wedding if some guests are unhappy with their rooms and such. Where if you go with someone else she can just be a guest and completely enjoy herself!
