It sounds that either way (waiting or doing it close to the date) can work. You just have to choose what is best for you and your guest. I wanted my guest to have some time to think about whether they will be coming by sending STDs 1 1/2 yrs (yes years LOL) before hand. This have given people to make smaller payments (including us) for the wedding. I plan to send out the formal invite along with the reception here at-home invites in October. That gives enough time for the last minute guests to book if they are coming.

I am carrying a bouquet of purple, orange an blue. My BMs are wearing tangerine and groomsmen are wearing tan. I want a lot of color without looking like the rainbow hopefully!!

I am getting married 4/25/15. I got engaged July 2013, so at that point I had a little under 2 years to plan. Well that is defiantly not the case anymore. I am about a year out and I feel like there is so much to do. Ladies I am needing help with prioritizing my planning. I have picked my location Montego Bay at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites!!

Hello Tamiks, I am getting Married 4/25/2015 at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites for the wedding the Iberostar Grand for the Honeymoon!!! I love the fact that they only have one wedding per day. I will be having a Welcome party/rehearsal dinner on the 24th. I am so far impressed. Only thing is that I have not seen positive reviews about the photographer that is included in the package so I will be be paying extra for another photographer.
