Today I got in my hankies for the moms and my girls. I ordered the shirts for the FI and I to wear the day after in Bermuda. I also ordered shirts for my mom, moh and myself to wear on the cruise. And to the rsvp gig, my cut off date came and went, I do have plenty of extra stuff, but the only thing left to grab is munchies and a puzzle book for my OOT's. OMG! My outfits for my BD shoot came in also!! And my AHR dress came in, now I just have to go get fitted. It's slowly coming together!

Lindsay, where did you find that reading for your sand ceremony? It's beautiful. I think I may borrow it!!

OMG we're officially done our upstairs remodeling!! Now I can actually work on more of my DIY stuff for the AHR. Also start packing up some of my OOT bag stuff. My deadline for guests booking was the end of Jan. That has come and gone, I can't forsee anyone else booking, so time to pack up the OOT stuff I have done and put it in the closet. Oh girls, what are you doing for kids? We have our 8 year old nephew, who is also the FI's godson going. I'm not sure what to do for him? I'm thinking of grabbing some lego's. We're going on a cruise so beach toys is out of the question. I'm really at a loss.

Thanks girls!! The problem is that customer service has NO IDEA what is going on!! They where telling people it was fixed in NJ! I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope it takes a while to get a dry dock slot! It took Navigator almost a year of sailing with no stabilizers before they fixed her!

I had my first fitting a few weeks ago. I go for my 2nd and hopefully final on March 4. Now I'm just having anxiety about our cruise ship not dry docking the week of my wedding cruise!!!

We sailed on her last May and loved every minute of it! The last sailing, leaving DR they hit a reef or something of the sort, so 1 of the propellers isn't working. They skipped Labadee on the last sailing, on the sailing that's due back today, they skipped Puerto Rico to give them extra time in St. Thomas to try and fix the problem. Since they couldn't fix it in NJ, cause the Hudson is so cold and dirty! So apparently they sorta fixed the problem in St. Thomas. Royal hasn't officially said if its fixed or not, it's mainly rumors and according to someone that is currently on the ship, she's not sailing nearly as fast as usual. According to rumor, they fixed it sorta until they can get a dry dock spot. Explorer isn't scheduled for a dry dock until 2010. Obviously since she travels so far and peak Caribbean sailing times coming up, I'm sure if she needs to be dry docked, they're trying to get the soonest possible time slot. I'm just scared it's going to be my wedding week!!! I'm trying not to think about it, but I keep getting this pit in my stomach that after 11 years something is going to go wrong!!

I plan on not wearing anything for the actual wedding, however I do need a flip flop of some sort to get from the ship to the hotel and back! I found this site, I did order 1 pair just to check out from there, and they seem like a decent quality. I'm not sure what pair I really like yet, but I have time to decide! I'm doing them, just because it's something the FI would NEVER think I would do. My session includes hair and makeup, however that was because of the package I chose. I plan on using his favorite soccer jersey I bought him for christmas. A flowy satin robe, and a longer sexy satin nighty. I get up to 4 outfit changes, but those are the only outfits I felt comfortable wearing. I'm not exactly a small girl, so I'm very self conscious about my thighs, belly, and well the rest of my body!! I'm just going to go with it and hopefully loosen up enough. I'm taking my MOH with me, so I may grab a bottle of wine for the day and just make her drive home!!

Are you asking if you have to have your passport for 6 months before you can travel? If so, I know last year I didn't have any problems, and I had only had my passport for 3ish months. Also, we just did my dad and brothers last week, they haven't even gotten them in the mail yet, and we're traveling in May. When you apply for your passport they ask you when your travel dates are. I didn't see anything stating that it has to be valid for 6 months before date of travel. You would think when I put May in while filing out the paperwork online, it would have said something and it didn't. If I'm not reading the question right, totally ignore what I just said!!

We have our wedding cruise with Royal. I'm not using them for our actual wedding, however I can tell you, we have 21 booked. 11 cabins, we're using our GAP (group amenity points) for a $50 on board credit for each cabin. Also, for every 8 cabins booked we're getting a free berth, which for us since a majority are balconies, is $834. We didn't get a discounted rate for having a group, but we did get perks. Depending on how big your group is depends on how many GAP points you get. Then based on your points you can pick and choose from a list. I'm pretty certain most cruise lines are comparable with how they do this. I also am going directly through Royal, not using a TA. I have heard of horror stories where certain TA's have not given all earned perks. If you don't think you are getting what you deserve, call the group dept directly and give them hypothetical of your exact group and ask what you are entitled to. They should be more then willing to let you know. Just tell them you are considering booking a group for that sailing =) Hope this help! GL with your planning!!

I'm sitting around keeping tabs on the broken propeller on the Explorer of the Seas. I'm hearing everyone's horror stories. I'm so paranoid that they are going to dry dock on my wedding week! I know there's a few others that are Explorer brides, what are you feelings on this? Am I over reacting? I'm really trying to just be patient and wait it out, but I can't help but think my wedding is less then 3 months away and my luck they will end up canceling my cruise! Since I'm not going through the ship for our wedding, should I inform my wedding planner in Bermuda? I'm not sure what I should do!!

Thanks Casey, I checked out those 2 sites and they don't have the wrapper I wanted that matches our invites. Oh well, was worth a shot to check them out!! The best part about chocolate, if you have extra's its not like they will go to waste!!!

Casey, thats exactly what we're doing for our AHR. I am so tired of having knick knacks everywhere. This is the site that I'm using. Side note - We're exactly 3 months from today!!!!

If you choose from NY, you can cruise RCCL which I'm personally doing for my wedding cruise. We're actually sailing from NJ to Bermuda, its a 5 day cruise. There is also a 9 day and a 12 day out of NJ to St Thomas, Puerto Rico, and various other islands. I personally chose Bermuda, due to the fact we're there for 2 days. This way 1 day is the wedding, the next day our guests have all day to roam the island.

In the summer when my skin see's alot of sun or salt water, I always use baby oil right before I get out of the shower. I squeeze some over my body and rub it in as I rinse off a bit. Also, baby lotion I love for my skin. I just buy the big J&J bottle and keep it next to the shower for when I get out.

Maisy, a legal day is where you go to the courthouse in your town and actually get married. Due to some of the requirements in some countries and even to have the US recognize your marriage, its just easier to do the legal stuff here before you go then it's a symbolic ceremony at your resort. For what to do after your legal ceremony, I'd say a pot luck and a small gathering at your house would be more then enough. Most people don't even let anyone know they're doing a legal ceremony prior, muchless invite people who can't make it to there DW!

Tissues, rolaids, small hand lotion, I did crystal light packets but you're in mexico!, tic tacs, I also bought little change/key pouches from OTC. Oh another idea, since you're in an AI, maybe get the ziploc containers this way if they wanna take some fruit to the beach they can. That's about all I can think of atm! But you have a good list!

Bianca, I'd ditch the calla's. Don't get me wrong, I love the flower, but I just tend to think of it as a more formal flower. I love to see a ton of tropical flowers together. So I have a few other things checked off my list!! Ordered my moms dress and my AHR dress and my MOH dress! Had my first fittings for my wedding gown, final fitting March 4. I hope! Have everything for my OOT bags, minus a run to the $ store for some puzzle books. Ordered our wedding cake for the AHR. Payed off our cruise! I think that might be all. Once we get our taxes back we'll work on getting the FI's suit. Almost under the 3 month mark!!!

Maybe its me just feeling plain evil today or I'm just really a bitch! But I'd tell him, how about we take that family holiday after you pay my mother back! Because if you paid her back we might actually afford to have more people! Yeah that might be a little to bitchy huh? Wow I'm getting my PMS a little early!

I would just have them book through the 1800 site. I'm sure everyone will understand you have enough going on trying to coordinate the whole cruise and wedding.
