OMG so since I couldn't really share a few pics from my BD. I have my album proof pics!! A BD shoot is SO not me. I have to say I loved every minute of it. For any girl that has been hesitant about doing this due to there weight, I'm not exactly a size 8 or 10, but I was so comfortable with Brandi. I can't recommend her work more. Thanks again JennyK for letting us know about Brandi!!! I can't wait to see the book all done. The FI is going to flip!!

OMG Marie, you kill me!! I was crying when I was reading your post!!! Oh so my mom and MOH surprised me today with my shower. OMG they got me good. I had NO idea!!! I've never had anyone throw me a surprise party. Then my mom hired a professional photographer for our AHR and wrote this note in a card that had me in tears. It was so sweet. I said I didn't originally want a shower, since we have had our own home for 9 years. I'm really glad I did get to experience it though. I wouldn't have changed a thing. So I didn't kill the FI. I explained to him that he wasn't understanding my whole vision of this wedding. So I started showing him some pics on here of brides in a gown, with the DH in a suit with no tie and flip flops. So now he doesn't think it will look retarded. He said we will check it out once he picks up his suit from the tailor. Congrats all you legal girls!!! Now I need to find a non fruity drink. I'm thinking of finding a flavored vodka that I can mix with sprite or gingerale. Since we going on a cruise, booze isn't included. So we're smuggling our own on, and I rather not have to bring juice and such. I'm game for any suggestions!!! I can't believe it's around the corner!!! We leave in 19 days!!!

Yamille, I'm going barefoot also. My dress does drag a bit due to the embroidery work on the bottom, we couldn't hem it any shorter. I decided to just deal with it and go barefoot anyway. Have you ever tried to walk in the sand in wedges? It's not exactly easy!!

My wedding band has channel set diamonds in it. About a 1/2 carat. Our plans are for our 5 yr anniversary is to upgrade my ring to the one with a carat of diamonds.

So I came home from work early tonight. I managed to make a rough draft of the deck plans, cabin numbers and wedding day timeline brochure to be handed out in the limo on the way to port. I didn't print them all out cause I wanna show my mother and see what she thinks first! Printed the labels and sealed up our pre mailing with luggage tags. Just need to get them to the post office and weighed at the end of the week. Instead of a big welcome letter, I made our welcome letter on the oversized postcards from Vistaprint. On regular size post cards I made the info for our photo share. I made labels on the outside of a white 6x9 envelope with everyone's names and put those in there along with a few Bermuda postcards I ordered from Cafepress. Our flowers are shipping today, they should be in by the end of the week from *bannedseller* I hope they are as beautiful as they are on the site. Final payments went out to our wedding planner and resort fees. Now I just need to find a decorative box for Paul's BD book. I think I may only have 1 more trip to Michaels before we leave! Huzzah!! I was starting to think I rented a room out in the back I've been there so much!

I haven't been to a phillies game since I was a kid with my dad. I saw this today and it was so sad. Atleast he died doing what he loved. It's a sad day in philly and the baseball world.

Yael, Bermuda doesn't really have a rainy season per se. The rain spreads itself out through the year. OMG I'm almost down to days!!
