The one bad thing and the main reason I didn't choose Surf Side, was due to wanting to be married on the beach. The ceremony would have had to be on grassy terrace over looking the ocean. We are using our own planner, so with that we're paying a venue fee. We decided on using 9 Beaches. The venue fee was the same for Surf Side and 9 Beaches.

FI and I have been together for 11 years and engaged for 8 and a half! Although we do live together and own our home together, so we're a little backwards!

Target just started putting alot of spring stuff out. They have all there pink, yellow and bright colors out now. I bought some red and blue ones last year for the house and I think I spent like $1 a piece and they're nice, I use them everyday.

We're getting married May 11, 2009. Our AHR is May 31, 2009. For favor's we're doing personalized Hershey Bars and votives, both of which will have our actual wedding date of May 11 on them. Hope this helps!!

I plan on using the FI's Chelsea soccer jersey I bought him for christmas. I'm thinking of getting cheapo satin sheets and doing the draped look. I'm torn with getting a teddy since I'm not that confident with my body, doing the shoot alone is going to surprise him! Muchless if I get super revealing! I did see a really nice long sexy satin night gown from Fredricks I may order.

I don't really have a choice!! I work nights, so having my mom come help is narrowed down to 2 days a week, both of which can be a meeting night for her! We're also taking a weekend road trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for my cousin's 18th bday in March. Plus the week before we leave if the FI's godson's communion! So we have to go to Syracuse for a few days! Then once we get home from there we get to pack and won't have time for much of anything! I don't have much left to do, thank god!! The bad part is, I get to look for more things to do!! And spend more money!!

OMG! So my mom was down the past 2 days. We managed to get so much accomplished!!! I finished my first aid and hangover kits for my OOT Bags. All the invitations for the AHR done and ready to mail the end of Feb. Thank You tags for my OOT Bags. Basically all things OOT Bag done minus picking up the pop up laundry baskets and putting it all together. My first fitting done and AHR dress ordered! Precruise packets/luggage tags done and in the envelopes, just need to be addressed and mailed out! Few last things to do not alot though! I can't believe its all coming together!! Hopefully my dress will be done March 4. I've been having anxiety all week about it fitting since its been in my mothers attic since 2001. I have to have the shoulders taken up a bit and we're doing a 7 point under bussle. It looks so pretty though!! I can't wait till its all done to get pics!! I forgot to take some yesterday! My camera was in my purse, but we totally forgot!! We did so much in the past 2 days! Now I have to figure out where to put everything! I can't believe its all coming together! I am loving my OOT bags! Oh my mom and I decided we're going to send my aunt who is also my godmother a OOT bag and have it arrive on our wedding date. My Aunt isn't able to go on the cruise with us since her daughter just got married on Saturday. Her new son in laws parents didn't offer to pay for much so my Aunt was really upset she couldn't find a way to have enough money to go. I totally understand I told her. So we are going to mail out an OOT bag with a nice note saying "Have a drink with us for our wedding!" and how we wish she could have been there with us. I hope she's going to like it!!

I actually ended up designing and buying stickers for mine from Zazzle. For 24 stickers along with shipping it was $25. It was easier then trying to print them myself and have to worry about screwing up.

Isn't it the best? We bought out rings last May in St Thomas, matching channel set diamonds in a white gold band. I wasn't going to wear my ering. Well for christmas this year I had my diamond reset into something I can wear with my wedding band. Let me tell you, its like getting engaged all over again when you get your new setting. You can't stop staring and showing everyone!!! It's so much fun!!

I bought 24 stainless steel coffee mugs 16 oz, with boxes from discount mugs. With shipping it came to $77. I also ordered stickers from Zazzle since I was to lazy to make my own that I'm going to put on all the mugs.

I liked that idea Megan, but I couldn't find them cheap enough in back to school season. Plus my mom said they might be a little to big. I'm going to go with the FA Kits for 99 cents.

I'm just going to use the "He's a man" excuse. I would just tell him, look you actually think your wife would want to have to share her romantic day with my real wedding? Try and convince him that a nice secluded vow renewal on the beach with the 2 of them would be more "romantic" then "sharing" a day with someone else.

I'm super scared to add up what I'm spending per bag. I really think its more then $20!! But don't tell the FI that!!! Ha! Some places I did manage to keep costs down where ordering the 99 cent lotions and body washes from Avon. I also found the Bath and Body works hand sanitizer for 99 cents. I did splurge on the bag itself, I bought those at 5 Below for $5 each, but they came with a mat, and a smaller bag. They are super cute and huge! Someone else bought them first, I can't remember for the life of me who it was though! I did order stainless steel coffee mugs for everyone. I don't think its the price thats bothering me as much as WHERE AM I GOING TO PACK THE STUFF!!!! Thank god we're not flying, we're cruising out of NJ and I can make all my guests in the limo be my pack rats!!!

We have 21. I really can't forsee anyone else decided to book. Like I've told the FI, I'm not really partial to who shows up, aslong as our parents and we are there thats good enough for me!!!

I bought bracelets around holloween time for my guests for the night of the wedding when we go to the club. I don't forsee them breaking enough to leak, remember you have to bend them to activate.

Thanks girls!! I'll have to get them. If I keep getting stuff, I have no idea where I'm going to put my own stuff!! Thank god I don't have centerpieces to worry about!!

Yeah I freaked out with how little time is left!! Slowly I'm working on my crafts for my OOT bags and AHR stuff. Ok enough of the computer, I HAVE to go rip up some carpet in my bedroom so we can finish this remodeling!! I've had my brand new king size bedroom set in my dining room since November!!!

What did you girls use or are using for your little first aid/medical kits? I'm at a total loss of what to use or where to find something. I was going to use organza bags, but with all the cute little stickers and stuff I'd like something more of a box! Thanks in advance!!!

Did you happen to change any type of hair products? I know sometimes if I use cheapo hair stuff and wear my hair down alot my ears bother me.

I have a pair similar but I was in the store in the dress dept. Here's a pair, but they're black and a little expensive on Amazon.
