Also sometimes just the way you communicate with each other may need to be tweaked so everyone is okay. A therapist can help you figure out how to do that for yourselves. I'm going to 2nd that opinion Yamille! Back about 2 years ago I was on the verge of leaving my FI. I went to a therapist and it was the best thing I could have ever done. She was awesome. I learned how to express my feelings and tell the FI what was bothering me. In return from me he learned how to express his feelings to me and how to talk about what is bothering him in our relationship. If you ask him he swears by it! I wouldn't be where I am now if I didn't do it. It's nice to have that unbiased person as a sounding board and to help learn to cope with things differently. At first it's really weird, but once you start spilling your guts you wish it was a 3 hour session!!
  2. I had my last fitting today and picked up my dress!! I'm so excited!! Although I had some drama this week. I have a new MOH now. Long story, gonna make a rant! Finished the centerpieces for the AHR ordered the place card holders and candybar favors! I can't believe I'm almost under 2 months!!!
  3. Yay! I had my final fitting today! You can't really see the detailing though! The detailing thats along the front goes all the way around the train. And please don't mind the horrible hair!
  4. We have a shell that closes for our rings. I'm just going to have the BM hold that and open it and so we can pick each others rings out of it.
  5. Why is it when a new register line opens and they say, NEXT in line. The people at the back of the line run over? The cashier didn't say LAST in line please!
  6. Incase you didn't know. You can go directly to the IRS website and do your federal taxes using all those nice programs for free if you make less then $56K. Or if you make more, I know I did my FIL's and it was $20. They give you a whole list of sites you can go to like Turbotax, ect. Just make sure you don't do the state through that site. In NJ you can go directly to there site and do it for free no matter how much you make. I've done ours like this for the past few years. Now next year filing joint is going to be interesting, since combined we make more then $56K! I think I may end up having a friend who used to do taxes do them for me!
  7. So I posted a few pages back about my Hairzings. Ok let me tell you I LOVE THEM!!! I had to order different colors!! My hair is super thick and I can't just pin the top back in a barret. These things really hold my hair tight and the comb doesn't hurt my head! I can take it out and I don't get that funky bump at the crown of my head. So I can take it out and just have my hair down if I want also.
  8. Anytime! I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thought about chocolate!!
  9. Exactly the way Bizner said! I would ask how old the mother is and how many litters she's had. If they're breeding her more then once every year to year and a half it's way to much. Check out this site. Kennel Ads I found that through the AKC site. Don't get me wrong, is it possible to get a good puppy from a classified ad. Just ask alot of questions! If they have a few litters of puppies around, IMO I'd run the other way. When we had our Akita's we had maybe 1 litter each 6 months, sometimes we'd only do 1 litter a year. Depending on if we wanted a specific color or we retired one of our champs and wanted to bring up a new puppy. Just make sure the area where the puppies are is clean, they seem like they are getting enough attention. Make sure they've had there first shots and wormed. That would be the Iams food she is talking about. It's not a bad food, I actually feed my cat Iams. It's been so long since I had my dogs and I was in the pet industry I'm not even sure what the high end foods are anymore! You can always get him a little sweater, especially for when you take him out for his night walk. Oh I saw you mentioned you where in Utah. Here's a link to the Utah breeders through the AKC website. http://www.akc.org/breederinfo/breed...?action=search Just put in the breed and your state. It won't let me post the search!
  10. Shell, I just ordered 4 shirts from this site. Beach Wedding Shirts | Guayaberas, Linen Pants, Boys Linen Shirts, Mexican Wedding Shirts. They have up to 3xl. For all 4 I think it came to $176 or so plus it was free shipping. They have a bunch of different shirts.
  11. It looks like $218 for 110 of them if they do everything. For the wrapper only its $119. I'm not sure how much the chocolate alone would be at Sams Club. But I'm sure its less then $100.
  12. I would deff find a good breeder. Make sure they do all the recommended tests for that particular breed. Certain breeds have certain health problems, I'm not quite sure if dachshunds are notorious for a certain issue, but make sure you check. If so, make sure the breeder you use runs tests and find out all the background information on that breeder. Make sure you get him fixed as soon as he drops, his little woobles that is! The last thing you want is to find him humping your friends legs as they walk in the house! It will also calm them down a bit. AKC papers aren't always needed. They just show the family tree, ect. If you aren't planning on showing him or breeding they REALLY aren't needed. However if you go to a good breeder and they have show dogs, they will make the proper check in the box if you can breed or not based on the dogs standards. If they check the box where he's not breedable, you won't be able to register any puppies sired by your dog. If he's a possible show dog, then that's different. And alot more money. Crate training is the way to go. Just don't be a softy! If the puppy isn't being watched, make sure he's crated. Make sure he has plenty of chew toys so he doesn't decide your furniture or shoes look good. Seems like you are doing plenty of research on your own, which is good. Make sure to ask as many questions as possible to the breeder. GL!!
  13. The most random thing he put his foot down about was the food quality at the AHR. Other then that, it's been whatever I want for everything. I do ask his opinion, and I get the "yeah thats cool/yeah thats nice" everytime!!

I think I can get a bunch of Hershey's in bulk at Cost Co or Sams, but I didn't know if the site actually provides them... TIA!!! I'm going to have them do everything. I'm sure I could go cheaper if I went to Sams and just ordered the labels, but with all the other crafts I have going on I really am just to lazy to do it. The site I'm using, does have both options though.
  15. Super cute site. I ordered a shirt for my sister in law who isn't in the wedding but is very special to me and will be doing my makeup for my wedding. I couldn't find a shirt that didn't say Bridesmaid, MOH, ect. This one was perfect, it was the Team Bride one.

Oh and of course he doesn't know about the ones delivered to my parents house..... Of course when I spoke to my dad last night, I told him not to mention about the stuff being delivered there. I said it's part of the FI's wedding present. He proceeds to say, Black Sheets? I don't even wanna know!!! Hahahah they're my black satin sheets I ordered for my BD shoot!! Mom knows but dad has no idea!! Thank god the stuff from Fredricks didn't say what was in it on the outside of the box, I think it would have killed him to know his little girl was wearing provocative stuff!!!

No one else immediately thinks of Clerks 2 and The Donkey Show? I'm not sure, but I think I might be a little freaked out having a donkey walking around handing out beer!! LOL
  18. Well today we had everyone going finish paying. So I'm officially booked at 19 guests. We have both limo's booked for the transportation to the cruise port. One from our house and the other from my parents. I haven't even thought about the FI's suit!! I think I'll wait till the beginning of April for that. If you have K&G around you they have great deals on mens suits. We bought one for him last year there. I think I'm just going to get him a light tan color and something thats not to heavy. I still have to get his BM's shirt. Plus clothes for my father and brother. Why does it seem its harder to get the mens clothing then it was for our gown!!! Oh! And I have my 2nd and final fitting next Wednesday!!!

Lakeview Terrace so sucked!! I can't even believe that Samuel L took that part! Has anyone seen Changeling or whatever its called with Angelina Jolie? I have The Duchess laying around here I gotta watch too.
  20. Can someone press the pause button!!! Time is flying by to quick! So I have my BD pics in 3 weeks, final fitting in 1 week, just picked my AHR dress up. And of course haven't dropped a since pound of the 30 I wanted to loose before the wedding. Harty I give you all the credit in the world to drop those pounds! I really decided not to stress myself out. I have a wacked out schedule. Well I have an 8-4 job, it just happens to be 8PM to 4AM! And if I want to get anything accomplished, I can't really flip my whole life around since I use the afternoon to run errands, do stuff around the house, ect. Next week my mom is coming down, so we're going to pack alot of the OOT bag stuff and put it in the closet. So that will be done. We're also going to order the candy bar favors and finish the centerpieces for the AHR. My to do list is shrinking, thank god. Now if I could get my waist and thighs to do the same thing I'd be on the ball!!
  21. We're getting ready to depart on a romantic trip, which is only the start. Kathleen XXXXX and Pawel XXXXX will be married on May 11, 2009 On the beach in Bermuda Together with our parents We invite you to join us for a reception May 31, 2009 at 1pm The Terrace Room Buena Vista Country Club We are sending ours out before we leave, actually they're going out next week. We're doing them early since I wanted the RSVP's back before we go away, then I can spend the 2 weeks in between our cruise and AHR to do follow up calls for people who "forgot" to RSVP and do my seating chart. It also serves as a pseudo announcement also.
  22. I went to Michaels and bought the um, I have no idea what they are called. But they have rectangular and have a hole to feed ribbon through. They kinda are like a hang tag. I bought some stamps that said Thank You, a sun, and a palm tree. I also found ribbon that said Just Married on it, and thats what I'm using to attach them to the beach bags. It was cheap and cute.
  23. I had mine in my mothers attic from 2001 until about 6 months ago when we took it down to make sure nothing happened to it. It does have a train, if you flip the train up there is a loop to hang it from the hanger. When I made my appt for my first fitting at David's which is where I bought it from 8 years ago, the lady was scared to death. When I went in, put it on, she was in total shock, besides the wrinkles it looked like the day I brought it home. My veil was also in the same garment bag, and is just wrinkled from hell and back, but the seamstress told me to bring it with me for my final fitting and she would steam it for me. I go next week for my hopefully final fitting, so I will get plenty of pics and make sure I post some for you girls. Trust me, I think I have storage of a wedding gown that was never used record! Yours will be fine for 18 months!!
  24. I had my dressed stored for years. I had it in the David's garment bag they gave me, then inside a Rubbermaid tub. It was wrinkled, but as beautiful as the day I picked it up.
