We're not! lol To be honest, I bought bags and just grabbed a few extra. I kinda have an idea of how many I'm going to have. Alot of stuff I'm not getting until I have a concrete number, like the more expensive stuff. I gave a cut off of Jan 31 for my May wedding. If they are not booked by then, they're not getting a bag!

Pick whoever you want hunny! Quick story. The FI and I where supposed to be married back in 2002. I was laid off, so we "postponed" the wedding until further notice. Fast forward to May 2008, we decided after people where joking with us on our last cruise that we where going to come back married, we would get married in May 2009 in Bermuda. I decided this time, no wedding party, just a MOH. Well original plans where my uncles wife was going to be a BM. Well I'm not having them, so she's a BM undercover this time. She's getting a special gift and she's going to do my makeup on the wedding day. So if it really bothers you, or your mother, maybe you can do something a little more special for her.

Are you doing any type of favors? Hair appt? Manicure/Pedicure appt before you leave? Photo list of must haves? Passports? Sand Ceremony if you're doing one? vows? if you are writing them music? That's about all I can think of atm!

Oh this is such a good idea Morgan! I have 4 months to get ready for my appt! I would love to hear what you girls give as pointers for the inexperienced!

We're having our AHR at a local country club. We're doing another cake, toasts, speeches and announcements. We're not doing a bouquet toss or garter. We're doing a Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 6pm. 1 hour cocktail reception followed by a 4 hour buffet and dancing. We'll have our pictures on the laptop in the corner from our actual wedding. Oh and we will have the special dances.

I'm using ivory organza bags to put the small lotion, body wash, and antibacterial stuff in. Also using another one for my "get well" kits. I'm weaving fuchsia and aqua ribbon in the part that pulls them shut (though I wouldn't recommend this cause its a bitch!) but it is cute.

Everyone I know that has used it has had rave reviews. I would love to get it so I can learn polish, since the FI's family all speaks it, and well after 11 years I should prolly learn it! The bad part is that its so expensive.

Yeah I agree with Morgan. Dark suit and tie for the FI and a cocktail dress for yourself. Check Marshalls and TJ Maxx if you have them near you, you can normally pick up a really nice dress cheap if you have the patience.

We're having our "meeting" on Tuesday. My mom is coming over with her list, along with my FMIL. This way we know how many are invited and we can start to get our invites printed. I also booked my BD shoot for March 17! On Tuesday we're adding a few more to our cruise, which will bring us up to 21 adults and 2 kids. I want my Ering diamond reset. The setting I wear now is the original setting he bought for me years ago. We bought our wedding bands in St Thomas this past year. So I want my diamond reset into a band with channel set diamonds like our wedding bands so I can wear both. So we started pricing replacement settings. It's going to be my Christmas present =) I really don't have alot I can do right now till after the new year. I'm giving a cut off of Jan 31 for the cruise. After that, they won't be getting an OOT bag or have a taxi to the hotel for the wedding from the cruise port. Nor will they have reservations for dinner at the gourmet restaurant after the wedding!

I'm on seasonique. When I first started taking it I started spotting around 2 months into my first pack (you only get a period every 3 months) I would tell your GYN your due for your period while you're away for your wedding, could she suggest a way of postponing it. I think I remember someone saying they could prescribe something other then the pill. I wish you the best!! A friend of mine got hers at her reception. I think I would die!

My dad was at the game on Monday. My dad, uncle and godson are all going to the parade. Of course I just got home from work 45 mins ago, and if I was going to go, I'd have to leave in an hour to get there park and get a good spot! Then go to work tomorrow night. So I'm not going. I know the feeling. Both the FI and I are dealers in the casino's. Both of our company's are talking lay offs. We just refinanced our house and have the wedding in 6 months. It's very scarey. It's not like you can walk out the door and find a job making 50K a year easily anymore. At least they gave you a nice package. I'm a firm believer of god doesn't give you anything more then you can handle. But sometimes I wanna ask, are you really sure I can handle this?!?! Best of luck Syl. I can't wait to get married in Bermuda. I've never personally been there, however my mother cruised there 4 years ago and saw a wedding at Horseshoe Bay and fell inlove with it. With it being a 5 day and 2 days on the island, it was a no brainer, this way the people who have never been there still can enjoy the island on there vacation and well we can get married on a beautiful beach! A tad over 6 months and I'll be saying I do at 9 Beaches!

Wow, I'd be a little ticked also. 25 days to respond is uncalled for. If they're taking that long to respond to an email, how long is it going to take for you to get your pictures back? I'm far from diplomatic, because, well I don't see that you did anything wrong either. I would say the hell with having them do an additional hour shoot for another time. Was it in your package? If so, ask the venue if there is a way to give you a credit due to the poor service you received from the photographer to use toward something else for your wedding day. If they took that long to get back to you, and are bitter because you went with someone else, what kind of job are they actually going to do for your shoot? If I'm looking to hire you, I feel that more then 3 days to get back to me is uncalled for. They are providing a service, they should be prompt, or at least somewhat timely. If they can't, well they should really take a look at there business. Not that I really helped, but I couldn't help but speak my mind! It was a rough night at work! I hope everything works out for you

This is the bouquet I ordered from AA. This will be the MOH's

So I know the style of dresses I want for my mother and MOH. However I'm stumped when it comes to the color!! I originally wanted my MOH to wear fuchsia and my mother to wear aqua. Now that I've seen so many girls having there girls wear dresses in the brown family and it looks SO good against the water and with the flowers. This is the dress I want for my MOH. I'm only having a MOH also. This is in latte. This is my mothers dress. This is in truffle. I don't know if I should have my mother in the lighter shade and my MOH in the darker one or not? I am set on the 2 styles hands down. Let me know what you girls think! We're not getting the dresses till after the new year, but I'd like to start shopping for jewelry and such for them. Also, they are going to be wearing them for our AHR 3 weeks after the wedding. I'm not wearing my gown, just a champagne colored dress. I've liked this one, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

I'm going to be ordering these from discountmugs.com Instead of doing a logo on them, I'm going to print clear stickers, this way if people don't want to advertise our wedding when they use them afterwards, they can just peel it off!
