I agree with what Kelly said. Is there another OB in the office you can demand to see? I would just say, I don't feel that I'm getting the bedside manner I feel that I should be getting at this time in my pregnancy and I would prefer to see another OB. They can't NOT let you see another. Its all the same practice. Hell when I go for my yearly, I'm never sure who I'm actually seeing, a midwife or one of the 2 OB/GYN's that are there! You could always tell the nurse on your next time your concerns and see what she says. I wish you and little Noah the best of luck!

Target dollar section find!
Cattie replied to Cattie's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I'm only have 4 kids, but I couldn't pass them up. I didn't want the kids to feel slighted not getting anything, plus I figured it would keep them busy =) -
Laser Eye Surgery - anyone's experiences?
Cattie replied to Alyssa's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
What is the difference between the 2? I'd love to get my eyes done but I'm so scared. They would have to sedate me to even get me in the chair! -
Philly area get-together - Saturday, September 20th
Cattie replied to Jenn's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
How do I miss these threads? Good lord. If it didn't happen and you girls are planning another date, let me know! Since I'm in south jersey I really would love to do a Philly and NYC one! -
I know alot of brides do koozies. I decided since we're doing a cruise and not alot of our guests do bottled beer or can type beverages, we're going to do sport bottles. These are the bottles I'm leaning towards I can get them printed, but it doesn't seem to have enough room for what I want. What do you girls think about using a clear sticker? Are they a pain to print on? I was just thinking for after the wedding they may get more use out of the bottle if they could rip the sticker off. What do you girls think?

please! We finally decided on 9 Beaches. I think we're just going to do cake and champagne instead then try and make reservations on the boat at Portofino's. The pictures Barbara sent me of past weddings where pretty. Plus we already have our photographer for 2 hours, this way we can do ALL the pictures we want instead of being rushed. Wish me luck on hearding the cats, I mean, getting the rest of the people who "say" they're attending but haven't booked yet because it's "to far" away!

Anyone here not having a bridal party??
Cattie replied to trophywife's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
We're just having a MOH and BM (if he can ever pick one) I only have 2 female friends that I'm really close to. With the FI, his best friend had to back out of the wedding since his FI had back surgery and she's still out of work. So now he hasn't decided between his 2 cousins. We shall see! -

Question from a Wedding Coordinator
Cattie replied to parisianevents's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I can totally understand the difference with the European's and Americans. I would just add a disclosure and say... Being that we're in a different country that is very different then the states, it tends to take a little longer to get answers due to the culture. Please be patient and I will do my best to have an answer in the next 48 hours, if I do not for some apparent reason, I will keep you updated. I think if it's explained to us, we would be ok with the answer. Most of us feel that since it's our special day we should (for lack of better words) be the most important bride. I know myself I tend to forget there's other brides out there that my planner is dealing with, along with her own personal life. However if we're reassured, we tend to be fine! -
Well since you have Loki, maybe Bartleby. Yes I love Dogma and Kevin Smith! It's not really a girly name, but so fitting!

Being that I work in AC, this is gonna be really cool. However no one seems to know if they're going to close down for renovations or what is going on. I know alot of people who work over there and with the economy and what has been going on in AC has been really sucky lately! Maureen, where in Glassboro are you? I grew up in Franklinville, now we live in Galloway Twp. The many frat parties I went to at Rowan! omg! My whole freshman year I spent at my bf's dorm and I only went to Gloucester County! I'm so game for a AC BDW get together once you girls have your babies! Hell, anyone can always stop in Tropicana and swing by a crap table and say hi!

Hangover Relief pills
Cattie replied to Cattie's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Yeah I think I'm gonna ditch the idea of the hangover pills. I think I'll just do the gatorade packets in my bags. -
Question from a Wedding Coordinator
Cattie replied to parisianevents's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Well first the time zone difference would be 4ish hours depending on where they live in the states. Personally, for response time from a wedding planner, I'd like no more then a 2 day turn around when I ask questions. I feel anything longer then that leads to myself thinking that they haven't received my email, or I'm being ignored. I personally would rather receive an email that states, I'm checking into that for you or something to that effect. Even in the real world, I've always appreciated when put on hold for any period of time the person checking back and making sure I know I wasn't forgotten about. Hope this helps, and GL with your business! -
You could actually get something like that Harty. It doesn't have to be an actual cake topper. Just make sure its light enough not to fall through the cake. Any type of ceramic that's not solid would work. Hope that helps!! I can't wait to see the pics of your wedding Harty, I love reading your FIL stories!

BDW NYC Happy HOur Sept 30th, your invited
Cattie replied to K&Rwedding's topic in BDW Get Togethers
Oh damn! I wish I saw this thread earlier! I would love to take a trip up to NYC!! If the November one is on a Tuesday or Wednesday I'm so in. Are you all bringing the FH's also? If so the FI and I would make a day of it. If not, maybe one of the other south jersey girls that's more familiar with NYC would like to car pool? I've only been there 3 times and I've grown up in NJ! -
I just hung up with Barbara. We actually talked about your wedding Jenn! She remembered you! She's doing a wedding in Oct at Jobson's Cove then cocktails at Surf Side. She is going to let me know how it works out. She's never done anything like that so she's not sure how it's going to work. I also talked it over with my mom, I think we're going to go with 9 Beaches, just because the cabana's on stilts remind us of some homes on the jersey shore here. Also I do like the different rock places to do photos. I already have the photographer for 2 hours, so we're talking about just doing our cake and toast, then spending time doing pictures and not being rushed. Then heading back to the boat. I'm hoping to make reservations for our group at Portofino's on the boat for after the wedding. I know it can be done, its just getting the right person from RCCL on the phone and getting it done. I'm just getting anxious to know where my wedding actually will be held. I've just been telling people on a beach in Bermuda. It would be nice to be able to describe the resort!
-
I'm guessing what I'm trying to ask is... Since the price of Coco Reef is pretty much out of the question. Would you go with 9 Beaches? Or do you know of another resort we should look into? I really want to get this narrowed down so I can get my invites printed.

Holly Madison leaving Hef for Chriss Angel!
Cattie replied to TammyWright's topic in Celebrity Gossip!
So I'm super late to this thread! But I so love the show! I'll be upset if Holly leaves Hef =( I do have to agree on Kendra, she is pretty dumb. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I try not to feed into the whole Perez Hilton gig though. -
I can't wait to be back on this boat again! She really is in great shape for not been in dry dock yet. It's a shame she's not scheduled for it until after both of our weddings! We're going to book our group for Portofino's for the night of our wedding and treat our guests. Hopefully we'll have enough points on our Royal Visa for it not to cost us anything! We're paying off like 9 people's cruises using it once they give us the cash, so we get double points!

Target dollar section find!
Cattie replied to Cattie's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Oh I snagged these at Five Below for the single guys. They're a little more masculine then a bright blue or pink beach bag! I was going to do a soft lunch cooler type thing, but I couldn't find one that was big enough, so these are going to have to do! -
I didn't do an actual invite for our cruise wedding. I did an email to my family stating we where getting married in Bermuda and the info about the cruise. The FI's family we used word of mouth. There's only 2 people, my godfather and his wife who will "possibly" attend from my side. His family there's possibly 9 adults and 3 children! I wish they would just put a deposit down already! Then we have a couple we're friends with that may go, but they're already about to book so that's not a huge deal! I am however giving a cut off of January 31. If you don't have atleast a deposit down by then, you may have to find your own taxi to the wedding resort from the port, and you sure as hell aren't going to have a OOT bag! February 1 I'm starting to order all my stuff for my OOT bags and my personalized sports bottles!

Oh lord! So today I received my site fee quotes back from Barbara! So Coco Reef is $1500 that's the ceremony with chair set up. 9 Beaches is $600 for ceremony and chair set up. Surf Side is $600 for ceremony and chair set up, however the ceremony would have to be held on a grassy terrace. (not what I want) So, anyone know anything about 9 Beaches? Coco Reef with that price is out of the question. Surf Side is out since we can't get married on the beach. If I wanted to get married in the grass I could have done it at a nice country club here in NJ. So anything you girls can help me with would be terrific! Or if you could recommend a different property that I can have her get me a quote on would rock also!
