  1. I like your dress the best!!!! You are going to look very cute. What shoes are you going to wear? A nice satin ballet shoe died to match would be cute.
  2. I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. I agree with the rest of the girls. Talk talk talk, I know its easy for us to say that when he is being so different and not communicating with you, but try to get through to him. And Carrie's advise to leave for awhile to give him some time sounds like a good idea. Give him a chance to realize what he is losing. But you need to do what is best for YOU and your kids, so if he is not going to try, than you so do whats best for you.

I am getting married at ROR Oct 24 09, I have booked with Riu.com and gave me cc info for deposit. What is the next thing that I should be doing. I sent out annoucements to people to see who would like to go. No problem, But as far as the resort whats my next step, I would love to have a receptions but what is the best place disco etc... Ladies this is so hard for me I need all the help and advise I can get. When should I try and book for a reception is it better to go with free package than the royal. so many questions please be patient with me lol. I dont know if you have gotton your ROR questions answered yet, but I would advise you to send a email to Chandlyn the wedding cordinator at ROR to book your Dinner. do you plan on having alot of people, or a smaller group. Semiprivate dinner was good for me and I had 25 guests. I couldnt even tell there were other people there. The main thing is the dancing part of the reception. That is going to cost extra and you have the option of having it at the disco and Seagrapes bar on the beach. I totally love the idea of the reception on the beach, but you will have to pay $10 pp to open the bar, plus DJ expense. I think the disco costs a straight 250. This is 2008 prices. I would book that ASAP because there could be up to 3 weddings and there are only those two areas (I think). I went with the free package and added on. Thats the way I would recomend, the only difference I could tell is the possible room upgrade and the spa treatments. There are TONS of ROR brides, reviews, and inforamtional threads here. You are in the right place. Here are some of the older ROR threads. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t6938 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t11567 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t11534 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t5770 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t16164
  4. bump for newbies (the prices have gone up, but you have an idea of what's available).
  5. Have a great day! You know all the girls are going to want to hear all about it and see tons of pics. Have fun!!!!
  6. The wedding shower picnic was such a good and cute idea. Everything looks like it was so much fun. Its so great that both families were able to get together and the shower didnt have the traditional "women" type feel. I love your decor. The basket with the fake ants totaly freaked me out , I had to look again and realize it was fake.
  7. you think you got some pretty good shots, girls you DID get some AMAZING shots. WOW!!!!! I love the one of both of you standing in the water.
  8. Cant wait for: Dancing with the Stars (yeah, I like it what can I say) Heroes CSI
  9. I would first check out different wedding invitations online, to get an idea of what you like and what you would want. After you find what you like, you can modify that design to your own invitation.
  10. Wow girl! what a great find, you love the dress AND it was $16. You go.
  11. Hey Marie, My cousin lives in LA and she is an amazing photographer. She has been taking pictures of me for years, and of course did my wedding and TTD photo’s. Below are a couple of my TTD pics. She would really offer a more unique and creative approach as opposed to the standard boudoir shoot, and you would be getting way more for the money. I think she is the perfect solution. And you would be very happy with her work.
  12. are you serious! I'm going to have to log into my account now just to change mine too.
  13. I think I'm going to try too!!!! Ive never done it, but from the very begining I've been wanting to participate so, why not. Plus I've gained all the weight I lost before the wedding back so.... I think this could be fun. I'm off to PM Ann...
  14. Hey Morgan, Did you already order your book? If so, who did you end up using and do you like the quality (if you dont mind me asking).
  15. I love the long blond for a beach wedding, but like eveyone else says you should do what you think is best. Even if you cut it, and then want it long, I'm sure you know how to add extensions, so maybe you should go for it...., but you have been working soooo long to grow your hair out... Oh, I'm no help, I have no idea. All I know is you will look great anyway you have your hair, which is probably what your honey thinks too.
