The wedding I went to in August booked an excursion with Tropical Storm for all the wedding guests during our stay. Everyone had a blast! It was so much fun!

I stayed at the Iberostar Bavaro for my mother's birthday last May. While the rooms we had were a little dated, the service we received at the Iberostar was excellent. The food was great (they had a lobster buffet on Friday nights) and I think it was better than the food during my stay at the Gran Bahia Principe in August.

It was when it wasn't going away after I got home I knew something was wrong...lol! But honestly, I still had a great time I always take the costco sized bottle of immodium with me.

I always get sick when I travel, it doesn't matter where. But then again I have IBS. I was in Punta Cana in August and ended up with E.Coli but antibiotics cleared it up right away. My pharmacist suggested to me to get a prescription for Dukoral next time I go away. As for the water theory...I have a friend who never gets sick but she refuses to eat anything that is not cooked or will not any uncooked vegetables or fruit that don't have a peel...i.e. she will eat mangoes because if they have been washed they still have a peel but steers clear of the lettuce Some of the women I work with just got back from the Majestic a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it!
