    Everyone's wedding is before mine so I can't wait to hear how it goes for everyone! Also, I'm not sure if everyone knows this but for those who are having a private reception did you know you can also pay additional for it to go longer? I've booked the Blue Lagoon and managed to extend it until 1:00 a.m. I just got the confirmation email back this week. Of course at a price of $200 per hour and $6.00 per person per hour for drinks, but my fiance thought it would be worth it and wanted a real reception.

    In my quest for a second dress I love, I tried on this dress! It was really pretty and light like you described. It wasn't the one for me, but it is very pretty with the shoulder strap!

    We just bought his suit yesterday at Tristan. Our friend (the one that had to get his at Harry Rosen) was with us and my FI's suit looks exactly like his for a fraction of the cost. They are selling fast...the sales clerk told us they had an entire wedding party come in and purchase them on Saturday. Banana Republic had some that were a little darker and we saw one at Hugo Boss as well.

    Checked out your review! You looked beautiful! Sorry to hear about the private reception not working out. This is the reason why I didn't choose the Iberostar when we were looking at resorts. I was told that there was no way I could have a private reception as I was only expecting about 25 people. It was disappointing then, so I couldn't imagine how disappointed you must have been when you were expecting one all along. It looks like such a beautiful resort.

    For the Blue Lagoon I was told $300 to rent it out and $45 per person for the dinner/drinks. When I asked about the length of time I was told it was reserved for me from 6-10PM. Any additional time will attract a charge of USD200 per hour. If you wish to keep the bar open, the cost is USD6 per hour per person in addition to the 200 charge.

    Oh my god it is basically the same dress! I cried when I first came home after trying it on. It was so tight in the waist that, well, I felt fat in it. I also hate the way it fits around the hips. Thanks so much...I know I'm not crazy despite what my mother and sister are telling me!

    I think I may have settled. I liked it, but I don't know if I love it. There's not another dress, but I am wondering if there is something else I would love more.

    Okay here it is. It came in and they told me they need to let it out in the waist, so it is wrinkling in the back. I think I'm just not feeling it.

    My dress came in really early and now I'm having second thoughts. I thought I liked it when I first bought it, but now I just don't know.

    The green is so pretty! I was going to go with real touch flowers but decided against it. I didn't want to have to worry about transporting them down there and I also didn't want to regret not having real ones. I love peonies and hydrangeas I'm hoping to have hydrangeas for my flowers.

    Did you hear back? The resort has always been quick to respond to me. It took a few days when I sent the deposit form...as I think I saw it on my AMEX before I got the confirmation email.

    I'm hoping to have around 30. I have already booked a private reception as it was really important to me. It really depends on your preference and what is important to you. One of the reasons we chose the grand palladium was because we could have a private reception and there wasn't a minimum.
