i think mom's being more casual is fine, but is your dad walking you down the aisle? if so, he should be a bit more formal b/c as you said your dress and your bridal party attire is more formal. if dad is walking you, then he should blend in more, imo.

mine will be like the first one even though it's gonna suck to pack glass...is it windy at your resort?? if so the candles might blow out with the second one?

definately not cool bc they had an actual minister...i'm surprised he actually agreed to do the wedding. i get that your wedding should be the way you want, but in that case they should have asked a friend to get ordained out of respect!!

oh heather, i am so so sorry to hear this. try to stay strong and rely on FI and others for support...don't be afriad to ask for help, you ARE NOT ALONE!!!
