SAND CEREMONY - how to get it home??

I was thinking about just doing a little bit for the pictures, then dumping it out and redoing it when I get home. maybe you could practice in a different container before you go, that way you can see if you like it better by pouring on layer at a time or both at the same time. I think most people do both together. I'm planning on filling ours all the way and hoping it doesn't get too messed up on our way back. But if it does we'll just do a redo here, no biggie for us. -

Hunter - by Maggie Sottero Paigely is very different from many of the dresses I've tried on as it's lace over satin. Has beautiful rouching and beading details. Hugs beautifully. Hunter is very sleek, has a bit of beading detail, a clean/modern look and shows off the figure more. Any brides have experience with either of these...? They're both stunning, and hard to compare against each other. Hunter is priced approx. $400 less, but the detail and lace in Paigely justifies the price different. erghh.... can I have the both? oooo I love paigely!! Where are you getting married? The reason I ask is b/c taffeta is VERY heavy and the Hunter has such a full skirt, you might get really really hot!! both gorgeous but I vote for paigely

I've heard that the resort charges guests anywhere from $55 - $100 for a pass that allows them to get into the resort, get drinks, food, etc. I'm just curious about this, because we are already paying per head for food and drink. Wouldn't this be paying twice, since our guests would be paying for something that we had already paid for in the cost of our wedding? We're having seventy-give guests included in the cost of our wedding; 25 are staying at a different resort and will have to pay a fee to even get into the resort. These guests also don't need day passes; it seems silly to pay $75.00 or whatever to have them show up for a 5PM wedding and enjoy what has already been bought and paid for. I can't wait for our wedding there, but this part seems really strange to me. Does anyone know if this is negotiable? Or how it works? Also, anyone have any description or pictures of Himitsu Beach? That's what I'm thinking site-wise, but I definitely want privacy. No gawking beach goers! I've thrown these requests past Claudia but for those of us that have her as a WC.....well, you know the response rate is less than stellar, LOL! As long as the guests that are not staying at the hotel arrive up to an hour before your ceremony and leave right after the reception, then they don't have to pay for a day pass. This is what Cecilia confirmed for me. So if your ceremony is at 4 pm, make sure they get there no ealier than 3 and leave right after the end of your set reception time (not the time you decide to finish partying)

nic123 very pretty....i LOVE the back!! -
one thing that i've learned while planning the DW is that you have to take a deep breath, let go, and trust that everything will turn out the way you want. when you think about it, you are planning one of the MOST important days of your life through emails and phone calls. this forum has been a life saver b/c its so great to here from brides that have been there and are going through the same situation as you. so the number one way to know if a DW is for you, is to decide if you can relax and enjoy the ride

So next step is getting our website and STD's figured out. So tell me girls does the time actually fly by until your wedding or creep by? we got engaged in july 09 and went for a site visit in sept. last year creeped by soooo slowly. but for whatever reason ever since jan it seems like its flying by!!! i can not belive its seven months away. now we're reserving our room for the wedding and the HM and we just sent the deposit for the TTD photog!! holy crap, omg, wtf, etc!!!!!

oh no! do you think this is why you hate it? i mean is it the wrong dress?? regardless you need to call and tell them and be FIRM b/c you have proof that the numbers don't match. the whole "final sale" thing DOES NOT apply if it is clearly the store's mistake!! it seems like they have some issues with this happening!
