I'm assuming this in not weird to wire money to vendors, is it? Wiring money is easy. Just go to your bank and tell them you would like to wire money and you just need the name on the account and the account number and name of the bank. There is normally a fee associated with it. Good luck and congrats on locking down a photog!
  2. Valtrex is the best thing to clear up a cold sore and stop it dead in its tracks. I get them a lot, and when i feel one coming on, I pop two valtrex and then take another one 12 hours later. This works like a charm. I happen to be the unlucky one that Abreva does NOT work for. boo.
  3. MoBride I want more details!!! I look forward to your review and some pics! Was it a pain to bring all your stuff down there?
  4. As awful as it is to have to hear you're going through this, sometimes it is nice to hear the testimonials of other women who have gone through similar situations. This board is so full of hapiness all the time, sometimes, for those going through marital strife, it can make you feel like your wedding is doomed since everyone else is so happy! It's good to know that all married (or engaged) couples go through rough times. I hope you can fight through it and make it through.
  5. Whew Carly, that's so lucky that you had insurance! The FIRST thing we did after he proposed was drove straight to the insurance building to insure it! Lol. It's so beautiful and I love your cathedral setting. It's awesome! What a great hubby!
  6. I love these dresses with the angles ruffles on the skirt. I love that look! I wish I had any pics of my dress, but it's a limited edition Maggie. No pics I will have to take some of me in it and post them!
  7. I would have done this had I not had so many people who are internet challenged. hehe. Guess we are left to spend the money for STD's!
  8. So sorry to hear you are going through this. There is nothing worse than one day being amidst the high of planning and being so close to your wedding, and the next day having the entire thing fall out from underneath you. You are in my prayers. I agree with some of the other posters: first and foremost this man is your best friend. If he is considering suicide, then stop the presses....the only thing that matters is getting him out of his depression. You want his health for him and you also want the happiest possible fiancee on the day of your wedding. You want all this FOR HIM cuz you love him. Although it is good that you are going to counseling, in my experience, all counselors do is allow you to talk, but sometimes you are left with no solutions since most of them try to allow you to come to conclusions on your own. So, don't put all your eggs in that basket. I think if you sit him down and let him know that you don't believe in or rely too much on the whole "the man is the main provider" blah blah, and let him know that you two are a team and you have his back you will make him feel better. Also maybe point out a time when you felt less than great about yourself and how he had your back. And I would go out of my way on a dailty basis to shower him with compliments, too! And whatever you do DON'T think too much about canceling on all your guests. Obviously, it stinks to have to cancel and you will feel bad (especially if they lose money on the trip), but you have to worry about your relationship first and foremost, because after all , it's not just about the DAY of your wedding, it's about a marriage, and anyone who loves you will respect that. In the end TRUST YOUR GUT. Believe in your ability to know what's right for you. You only get one life and so does he. Make sure getting married right now is what's best for both your lives before you move forward. Best of luck to you. Keep us posted.
  9. Lolita you are ahead of schedule! Knowing my FI, he'll be scratching his vows on the airline napkin on the way there

But thank you so much for the offer! So how did it work getting a photographer from home? Do you pay all expenses for them and their partner? On top of that is there still a high charge for services? Well, I think I got spoiled My photog is charging me the same to fly down there, plus he is paying his own airfare and giving me a free TTD session. All I have to do is pay for his room for two nights. I got pretty lucky. I think he is looking forward to having this for his portfolio too. We are so thankful.

It's been 3 shows and they are already halfway thru Vegas! 2) How did they only find 3 people in Nashville? They didn't even have a choreography round! 3) Is it just me or are the boys small this year? I like the really big, masculine dancers like Josh and Ryan who can throw the girls around. 4) How fantastic were the 2 from last year - Billy Bell and Alex, the Asian ballet dancer! My husband was like, just go ahead and put the in the top 10! 5) I don't know how I feel about the new format. As much as I want to see the All Stars, I hate that they are only starting with 5 boys and 5 girls. 6) They haven't shown it yet, but I HATE that new stage they put in last year. I feel like once they changed that, it all went downhill for me. The judges keep talking about how amazing season 6 was and I really don't remember it, though I watched it! I love it too! But I agree that it seems silly that they are bringing back ten of the old dancers. Let new talent have a chance! Billy Bell and Alex are in a league of their own IMO. The girl with the bun in her hair (Marge Simpson) I don't really like. I think she is just O.K. in her own style but something about her body is very lanky and doens't move well outside her style. I was pleasantly suprised by the femal tap dancer with the long brown hair. She did really well in all the choreography. It seems as if the season auditions were riddled with contemporary dancers and not many hip hop, etc that we have seen in years past. That new ballroom choreographer is bossy! She was barking like crazy at everyone! Yikes! I'm also glad they pushed through the auditions rather than spreading it out. Good thinking.
  12. I have Insanity and tried to do it for a week straight and I just CANNOT do it. It's so hard for me. Insanity is NOT easy. So, I just stick to my treadmill and lifting at the gym! If anyone would like to purchase my Insanity set let me know! I'll give you a deal! Just PM me!
  13. Ugh, KnitGirl, that stinks. Yes, bright colors are the hardest to get off. Teal and Blue especially. The lasers are actually attracted most to black. So, believe it or not, black tattoos are the easiest to get off. Also, the further away from your heart the tattoo is, the less likely it is to fade completely. Not that it won't but the odds are just that way. I have a bunch of tattoos that I want OFF my body. I only have one that I don't regret. For those of you who have already done or just begun treatments, what type of laser is being used on you? I know there are different kinds and I want to know which one works the best. I have a year till the wedding and I think I'm going to get a couple removed. There is a tattoo shop near my house that also has the removal machine and they are decently priced so I think I will go there for it.
  14. Joanne I posted in the Barcelo thread in response to this. IDK if you are intersted in changing your date, but if you haven't set anything in stone yet, my photog might do it if you want.
  15. Joanne, I am flying my photog in from where I live, but my wedding isn't until the end of May. Unless you wanted to move it to May 27th! I'm sure he would love to do two weddings that weekend! I would just have him on Saturday and Sunday for my TTD session. He could be available to you on Friday though. Would that work?
  16. I wonder this as well. Although my wedding is projected at around 40-50, I think that number may be dwindling. It seems a little awkward to have a huge reception for 15 people! So I would like to hear some other ideas just in case as well.
  17. Everything looks so great! What a great photog! thanks for the review. So helpful.
  18. For all u Etsy lovers who have an iPhone, there us an app called Etsy Addict you might want to get!
  19. My TA is saying that Secrets maroma is supposed to be amazing and The Royal website looks amazing! I'm going to have her look into both!
