I am sitting here watching last nights episode finding myself getting really annoyed at how few dancers they are taking. I cannot believe they let the Harlem dancer anthony go. Seriously he is amazing. Too many phenomenal dancers just got let go. Why do we need to see the old dancers? I thought the choreographers were the mentors? Also, I am not liking how they visited everyones house. I like the panel much better. I think it's more emotional. I think all the time they saved this season by not drawing auditions out, they used to draw the results out. I'm just being a hater I guess. Lol.

Spoiler alert! Just kidding. I have it TiVo'd, and I'll watch it tomorrow (when my FI isn't next to me complaining about having to watch two hours of dancing he doesn't understand ). I do not like the old dancer mentor thing. I would rather see new talent. Just my opinion though. bummed to hear they let that hamstring guy go. I really liked him.

totally agree about the scale. I won't even get on it. I know the difference if I look in the mirror and how my clothes fit.

I just got price quotes for the week preceeding the wedding and it's $1000 higher than the week after! So silly! So I think I'm going to have my TA play around with the dates of travel. I told her as long as we are there by Wednesday of that week, all is good!

I bought all the stuff for OOT bags and everything is ready to go. Now, I have read some recent reviews where the ladies are saying they almost wish they hadn't done them and I'm having second thoughts! so, I may be sellling all my contents soon if I decide to not do them!

Lindobride, that stinks. I have always heard that too. If you have to take it in too much, it completely alters the dress to the point where it doesn't even look the same. I wish you the best of luck. Maybe do what Bonnie did. She seems to be knowledgeable! I'm actually suprised whoever sold it to you said you would be able to get it down to such a small size.

Thanks for the review! So excited to read all these! Glad you stuck with your gut and didn't let them move your reception. Think how angry you would have been if u had moved! Funny that they asked you to sign a piece of paper relinquishing them of responsibility if it were to rain! I'm sure they were just looking out for you though. I'm glad you had a great wedding! We hired DJ Mannia. To me, he wasn't that expensive compared to some of the other quotes I got even locally. And from the reviews I've read, they are totally worth it! Personally, for me, I could not imagine just having an Ipod, as I think a DJ brings something else to the table as far as entertainment. Plus, we used to own a nightclub, so we're kind of "DJ" people. hehe. We have lots of dancing friends. Lol. I think it's just a personal choice though. I don't think one will be better or worse than another. Just whatever you feel comfortable with and whatever is within your budget. Also, I didn't want to have to worry about manning the Ipod or assigning anyone else to do it. I feel bad enough assigning two of my BM's to the camera for the photo guest book! I'm sure whatever you do will be great. In the end I think one is more work (manning the Ipod) and one is more money (hiring a Dj). Good luck!

Well, I got my quote from my TA today, and it's almost $1000 more to switch to Secrets Maroma as opposed to staying at Barcelo another week. So confused Although $1000 isn't a tremendous amount, it's still a lot considering how much money is being spent on this wedding!

Thanks Amy! Good to have some feedback! I'm sure once it's bussled, it will be better! Plus it has a built in corset like most Maggie's do, so that's good. It helps prevent yanking it up all night.

I think I have it narrowed down to Secrets Moroma or Iberostar Grand Paraiso or Royal. My TA is getting me quotes right now!
