  1. I love ur head piece! Makes me second guess mine! Too bad I already paid $150 for it! Everything looks amazing! I'm sure you are sad to be back!
  2. Wow thanks for posting those pics!!!! I'm gonna email wc and see if we can't get even more!
  3. I don't blame you for wanting a shower. It's just one of the parts of getting married that creates memories! It's all about the total experience! I would straight out ask my MOH, but she's my best friend and pretty much my sister so I would have no problem jokingly asking her, "So, you throwing me a shower or what?!" and then we would laugh about it. I don't know the dynamics of your relationship with your friends so it's hard to advise! What I do suggest is don't be so passive and nervous to offend that you let it slip by and get no shower at all.
  4. Has anyone seen or had their reception in the Mariachi Grill? What portion of the resort is it closest to? (Tropical, Colonial, etc) Is it nice? I've seen a couple pics but it's so hard to judge.
  5. Well, it depends on how important having the shower is to you. If it's important than I would be nervous to just cross my fingers and hope they throw you one. It's such a hard one!

  7. These bags are still available if someone would like them!
  8. In the pics of Jessica the blonde looks like a really warm, golden blonde and in the swatch photo it looks more neutral/ash. Which would you say it is My hair is super warm blonde, so anything neutral would NOT work.
  9. Like. Such a great substitute for soda Like or Dislike: Tiger Woods

Idk that there is a huge difference, mostly the location, possibly size and maybe a difference in decor. I'm going to send Claudia an email for her to send me pics of the two so we can compare and I will post them. Where is yours?
  11. I also noticed that Borders has some cute tote bags hanging near the journals, etc. They don't carry many of each kind, so you'd have to track enough down for your party, but maybe you could also order them online.

What is different about the decor in the Coral Grill? Seems like if the grills only host lunch, I wonder why you wouldn't be able to use it That stinks.
  13. I received your email and I would like the property of the groom tank and the hoodie if it's still available. You can invoice me through paypal at [email protected]. Thanks! I'm excited!
  14. IDK if you ladies like any self-help books, but I'm reading a book right now called "Loving What It Is" by Byron Katie and it's amazing! I struggle with finding myself getting frustrated with people around me because they do something that annoys me and I think they shouldn't or they don't do something I think they should or asked them to do. This book talks about how most of the time, we are angry with the thoughts we think up surrounding a certain problem, not the problem itself. It teaches you that getting frustrated with reality is hopeless and we will never change reality. "It Is What It Is" has never made more sense to me now. It's been helpful during the wedding planning time. How often are we saying, "I wish so and so would do this" or " I can't believe she is doing blah blah". This book taught me that saying some one should or shouldn't do something is pointless and we are the only ones left frustrated! Saying our friend "should be nicer" is silly because, point blank, she ISN'T nicer and us wanting her to be isn't going to change her! I know it seems silly and possibly hard to understand, but it has really helped me remain calm during these busy times when things don't seem to go my way!
  15. I ordered my dress in September and, after reading how long it took for some of yours to come in, I'm worried that mine is gonna take forever!
  16. You can't heat style jessica simpson hair can you?

  18. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this right now. I can't imagine if my mom wasn't at my wedding. It wouldn't seem complete! I hope he has a change of heart.
  19. Here is another neat thing I've noticed lately. In my local grocery store, a lot of them are starting to sell totes with local sporting teams on them. For instance, I live in Missouri, and I found ones with and MU Tigers logo on them and I'm using ones with the ST Louis Rams head on them. The ones I saw were 2/$4. Now, as ladies I know we aren't into sports as much as our men, but it's kinda neat to represent where we're from way down in Mexico!
  20. I totally understand that he will one day become wrinkly and lose his hair and possibly be peeing his pants too! but those are nature taking course and unavoidable. Being healthy is a choice I thought we agreed upon in the beginning of our relationship. I was only looking for advice on a not so odd topic and now ppl are fighting so just nevermind!!! I appreciate eeryine outlook! I really do! I have been thinking them all over today and I actually feel better about it all, so that's good! What I love about bdw is how open and honest we r with helping each other during our most special time in our lives and I didn't intend for my thread to cause hostility!!!! Truly all the comments, nice and not so nice, have helped me today to look at things another way and I thank u all for that.
  21. Ha! My FI always asks "what can you possibly still be talking about on that forum?!" it's awesome!
  22. I would like to see pics of the same items as kpuckrin. In case she doesn't buy them I will!
