  1. Oh ya. I definitely see a difference. I never used to, but as I get older I can tell i'm a little squishier around my period.
  2. I have been to the DR before and have taken a bus from the resort to go on a horse back riding excursion, and I, personally, would not feel safe in general. I'm sure there are areas where it would be fine, I would just be a little nervous. It's a very iffy area still. Just, my opinion though.

  4. You guys never cease to amaze me. Had I not already retained my photog when joining this forum, I would have hired you for sure! Absolutely amazing.
  5. Thomasjsgirl is so right. People don't exactly "get" DW's yet. don't let people's opinions bug you though. Just invite who you want to invite and let whoever show up, show up. If they don't want to be part of it, you won't miss them. Hang on tight for the next year and don't let anyone ruin your excitement!

  9. quick question: I am new to running (and only run on the treadmill at the gym) and I'm doing well, but my ankles are killing me! What can I do Is it my shoes? I have running shoes, but maybe they're just too old? Help!
  10. You looked so gorgeous and I love the bottom of your dress! Congrats! Je suis heureux que vous avez eu une merveilleuse journée!!!!!

  13. I don't know how, but my TA has already gotten me flight and hotel pricing. All I need to do is fax in my depsit CC form and they are going to send it to my WC to lock down my date.

  15. I think a lot of what people have in those 6 suitcases is stuff they are bringing down for the wedding, not just clothes, etc. I will likely have a ton as I'm bringing down all my bouquets, centerpieces (huge), OOT bags and programs, etc. I can't even imagine how many I will have. Maybe 10
  16. sfrench, great review! Thanks so much! I can't wait till next week when we have a couple more girls coming back with more reviews! Glad to know you wouldn't pay for the coctail hour as Im not paying for it either. So, they were ok with non-Palace guests drinking in the Palace lobby till the wedding? I'm nervous they will be asked to leave and come back when the reception starts.
  17. Am I the only one on here whose FI would totally NOT agree to waiting till the wedding night?!!!! I guess I mean those of us who have already been with our fiancees. I think if I told him I wanted to hold out for even three months to make our wedding night special he would tell me no way!

  19. Congrats!!!! 420 wedding in Jamaica, eh Lol. kidding. Good luck with all your planning!
  20. I think it depends on what kind of feel you want for your reception and what you think your guests would be most receptive to. Some bands can be awesome! It might be a little much for three hours though. Maybe just during coctail hour or for right after dinner Then transition into DJ

Why on earth am I having such a hard time saying yes to the resort?! I did the same thing after I booked our resort. Probably because there are so many options. You've just gotta stop looking! So many ones offer different things, but you picked the one you picked for a reason. Trust your gut!
  22. Dermablend works well to cover lots of things, but is definitely not transfer or sweat proof. The key to these products is several thin layers. Trying to glob a bunch on too fast is the wrong approach. So, you have to apply a SMALL amount and blend blend blend blend and repeat that process until it's covered. Also, make sure you shave the area to be covered as makeup will go on better with no hair (even if it's not a place you think is hairy, shave anyway. Peach fuzz will make the finish less smooth). Another thing is that having someone else do it for you is helpful, so take your MOH or a BM or mom with you to the makeup counter and have the lady there help both of you learn how to apply so someone can help you. Like I said in my earlier post, most of these things don't work that great. Sure, with enough layers, they will cover a tattoo, but it's never going to blend completely with your skin tone and look natural. Most of the time your skin is still left looking like it's been "patched". I still say airbrushing is the best option.
