    hat0112, have you hired a photog yet? Are they local to Aruba? they should be able to tell you what the optimal time for the ceremony is because they should know when sunset is and how much time you need to shoot. I'd ask an Aruba photog! Last thing you wanna do is lose too much light.

    Why am I getting "invalid file" when uploading my avatar? I uploaded a photo into photobucket, resized it to 100x100 and copid the http:// code in, and when I hit save, it's saying invalid file. Help!

    penaalba1, that dress is awesome and you will be glad it's lightweight and flowy when it's so hot down there! I love Grecian style dresses. So pretty. If you decide to do a TTD with that dress it will be nice and flowy in the water!

    I found out today that rates go down a bunch may 1st. Idk why (Easter and spring break r over maybe). Oh well I'm not moving my date again! Mine was only $400 more total than if I went the following week. Not that big a deal.

    TaraBinki I would send out your STD's ten months to a year in advance. That's pretty typical. I would say if you sent yours anywhere from august to October you would be good to go. Travel pricing usually comes out a year in advance.

    If I were you I would wait. I ordered STDs and then we moved the wedding up three months. I ordered new STds and we postponed it a year. then we decided on May 2011 and because of another conflicting wedding in the family we moved it to April 2011. I'm so glad I didn't order the May STD's! I would wait for sure till you have the date confirmed!

    congrats Abbie! (if that's your name. lol) Good thinking holding off on invites. things can change on a dime! Pricing in April can be crazy because of Easter so make sure your TA tries a few different arrival/departure options to get you the cheapest price. good luck!

    My dad responded to a text message I sent him yesterday saying that he is excited for the wedding and that he "can't wait to walk me down the aisle". So sweet and I almost started crying! It's making me so happy! Also my best friend found an old salon for rent for SO cheap so she and I may be going into business and opening our own barber shop! Keep your fingers crossed!

    Nucci, I know. I got a quote from my TA for $1000 than her previous quote for a week later and she said that she has been hearing a lot about it being near Easter, etc. She is gonna play with my dates and see if she can find something cheaper.

    So, like when they do eliminations, is it the same as usual? Are they going to cut one person at a time? So an "old" dancer may win I'm confused as to how it's going to work now. Yes! I forgot about Ryan. She was awesome and would have been a fan favorite I think. I hope she tries out again.
