See our transitions were pretty nice. In the cocktail hour we played smooth spanish music, then smooth italian pop, from there we went to some songs had like an island vibe to them(specifically Cultura Profetica check them out) which transitioned nicely into American music like Jason Mraz (etc.), which then moved to light rock in English and Spanish. The same sort of applied to when we were eating or the down times when the band wasnt playing!.
At the reception hour we had a great band and they did a great job at blending the spanish and american music together. We had a blast it went from classic rock, to 80's music(yeah we are totally 80's fans), to salsa/merengue and then had a Batuplena(congos, trumpets, tamborines etc band) show up and blast the party out with native prcan music. The show ended with some awesome american music and some spanish rock...
At our AHR the same thing applied. The DJ really did just look for the beats and blended all 3 cultures amazingly!
God I hope this isnt to confusing but just know it blends just look for the different beats and the tones you want to set and mix it up ! Hope this helps
