  1. aww Kathy I'm so sorry. I'm praying for him...and as MarieSam said - miracles do happen
  2. oh and Carolyn - I saw you taking pics in front of the Church with your family as I was about to walk down the aisle - I only saw you from the back but your dress was amazing - hope your day was fabulous
  3. I'm back!!!! And we totally lucked out....we went for our rehearsal with Padre Esteban and the Church ladies called this American Priest named Father Peterson. My wedding coordinators thought it was because they liked the look of us? haha who knows. Anyway, this man is amazing and you all should request him if you can!! He is an American Priest from Seattle area and he lives in Puerto Vallarta for 9 months, and goes back to Seattle in the summer time. He seriously is the nicest man ever and made our wedding incredible. He got to know us and our families in the 1 day he had to plan....he even came and hung out with us at our reception at Dreams. He truly cared about us - it was amazing. So ladies, if you want any advice, request him - he is awesome and he lives down there and loves to do wedding at Guadalupe.
  4. We went to Ztai last week - it was a blast. Then we went to Mandala (club on the Malecon). Ztai is really cool though
  5. I'm back!!! Congrats Jill and Aut - sad I didn't get to see you gals but I'm sure your weddings were fab!!! Dreams was great - a few minor problems I'll tell you about in my review. Mostly don't expect any upgrades even with a block of 30 rooms. They did however upgrade some of our guests to Penthouse suites for no reason and not us....that was the most irritating part but mostly it was great! Will write a review later Here is our wedding set up though in the meantime The Dazzling Details: Jess and Paul - Dreams PV
  6. I just got back from Casa Velas last night!! woop. It was so incredible and perfect for a honeymoon. We also got to go to Grand Velas for dinner one night since we were staying at Casa Velas and it was incredible also. It really depends on what you want. Grand Velas is huge but spectacular - Casa Velas is small and intimate (also spectacular). The beach thing isn't a big deal (I thought it would be but the golf course is so gorgeous). Also they have a private beach club to go to that is incredible. Ahh there is so much more so feel free to ask, but we were going back and forth but decided on Casa Velas since it was adults only. We came to find out that Grand Velas doesn't have many kids since it is so $$ though. My vote for honeymoon would be Casa Velas after visiting both
