  1. I just did this 3 weeks ago for the wedding. It is good but not worth the cost IMO - I paid $350 for it. Whitening trays with bleach work just as well so I'd try that next time before the Zoom...although my teeth were pretty white to begin with. Good luck though! Make sure to take some advil/tylenol before.
  2. Aut I haven't started to pack yet - oops! All my stuff is in one room just all over the place! Karen, we are taking two big suitcases and one small one - I hope at least! These are what we are checking. And yes we have 12 mani/pedis at Toya's on Friday! So I'll let you know how they go. Jill and Aut, can't wait to see your planning threads. Jill, hope I see you on the 29th! We have our TTD but I'm sure we'll get dinner after - then we are off to Casa Velas, the honeymoon hotel on the 30th in the AM
  3. Since you are posting in the PV thread you are probably going to get more PV's . With that, I've been to both places. Cabo is a desert on the ocean - so for the raw natural beauty - you are going to want PV hands down. It is more authentic Mexico - and they have beautiful green jungles, waterfalls, and of course the ocean. PV is also less of a tourist trap for sure. You are going to find it more "authentic." I'm not saying bad things about Cabo - I love Cabo. But for what you are looking for I'm going to say PV. Cabo is a great party place, they have ATV's, lots of famous bars, good food, etc. Cabo is also more expensive because it is more touristy than PV. Good luck! Let me know if you need any help.
  4. My mass is at 1:30PM - earlier than I wanted but all they had available. Our reception is not until 6:00 though. I think they will be able to decorate with flowers but not much else - I'm not positive. I'll let you know when I get back though! As far as the price - it all depends on the amount of people so I think prices are all over the board. Also you pay a little extra if you have your ceremony at a different place than the reception. But for what they did it is not that expensive and worth every penny. Good luck!
  5. I want to put lipstick and chapstick in there...thats about it!
  6. ahh Ash that is horrible. I'm glad you didn't let it ruin your day though - welcome back!!! I leave in 8 days girls - ahh!
  7. yes! post the picture on esty alchemy request - you can get someone to make it for you for a price you are willing to pay. I do this all the time and it works like a charm! let me know if you need help

  19. Ceremony / Church – Iglesia De Guadalupe: We’re having a Catholic ceremony at Iglesia De Guadalupe. I love this Church, it is so gorgeous. Resort / Reception – Dreams Puerto Vallarta The reception will be on the beach with a dance floor, lounge, and dinner tables. Wedding Coordinator After joining this forum and picking Puerto Vallarta – I fell in love with the Dazzling Details after finding them on here (I am a horrible DIY’er and knew I needed the help of someone talented). They have been nothing but great and I can’t wait to see what they come up with. The Dazzling Details Honeymoon We searched trip advisor high and low and it was between Four Seasons Punta Mita and Casa Velas…we ended up choosing Casa Velas. We can’t wait! Thank you Andi for giving us the review to finalize our decision  And that is it! Sorry I don’t have a lot of wedding specific details. My coordinators like to keep some things surprises so more to come with my review. Also, you can become their facebook fan and they put a lot of pics the week before someone’s wedding on some of their “plans†– “The Dazzling Details†is their fan page – their blog is www.thedazzlingdetails.com/blog and my photographers is Stephanie Williams Photography Blog wedding and portrait photography blog . I’ll miss you all!
  20. Groomsmen Gifts We really wanted the Flip Mino Camcorders that I recommended to some girls on here but FI was adamant on the camcorder being 1080P and HD (he’s a techy computer geek) so we found this Aiptek version for less ($120 on amazon) than the HD Mino version which was $249 – and with 9 groomsmen, that would just be too much $$ We also bought their ties (ivory), belts, and yellow socks Welcome Dinner – BananaCantina: I was looking for an inexpensive option since we had so many people. We wanted to keep the cost down. I found Banana Cantina on tripadvisor and I’m so happy I did. We get to rent out the whole restaurant on Thanksgiving night. It fits about 55 people and we got a better deal than any of the other restaurants I was looking at – and this one is even nicer than half of them. It is really modern and trendy which we loved. Also, Jae the manager is American so she was really easy to talk to. She was also great over email and always got back to me in a timely manner. And here is our postcard invitation from vistaprint Rehearsal Dinner Dress J Crew Cutwave Dress Some of my way too many Wedding/Honeymoon Clothing purchases (only because I love it when people post these )
