  1. Very nice!! I was planning on getting some of the stuff that you have.. thanks for sharing at least now I know that they are good!
  2. I love the recovery kits!!! Everything came out great.. very nice job!
  3. I am having a shower even though I told my BM's that I don't need/want one... They are insisting. =) In your case, is your sister the only one in your BP? If not.. maybe ask your sister to talk to the other BM's or your family and she can help them coordinate from afar. I see you are in JC, you can always join in on mine. I used to live in downtown JC (loved it!) and one of my BM's lives there still and the other is in Hoboken!!

I brought my laptop downstairs and I keep looking over my shoulder as I look these sites hoping Fh won't walk downstairs and catch me! Hmmm.. love the Eyes Wide Shut kind of thing. Our photographer said that she actually brings masks as she finds that it helps some girls relax at first and get into 'character'! I am a smaller chested girl so I have to keep an eye on the shapes. It's hard to imagine me in some of this stuff as the models are all so much better endowed. LOL! I am really liking this right now. https://www.victoriassecret.com/comm...234136&cgname= or https://www.victoriassecret.com/comm...233970&cgname= and https://www.victoriassecret.com/comm...190323&cgname= https://www.victoriassecret.com/comm...213960&cgname= https://www.victoriassecret.com/comm...233971&cgname= https://www.victoriassecret.com/comm...235301&cgname= Is it all too sweet??!?
  5. Your dress is beautiful!!! I would definitely have them in something strapless with a similar neckline and shape to yours and no lace like Scott-Pierre said so you stand out more.
  6. Wow... Thanks for the suggestions ladies. Honestly, I don't normally wear lingerie; and some of the stuff on those sites is super sexy!!! Now I am trying to decide how far to go.. =)

They have some super cute stuff on there.

If you are going barefoot for the ceremony then it would be a little longer but no big deal probably. That is an amazing dress!! I cant wait to hear how it goes when you try it on... Nurse is right.. I am a bit taller at 5'4-5'5 but they ordered my dress to my height without shoes as I am going barefoot.
  9. Wow Jenny.. Hot shoes and even hotter pic!!! =) I am def going to check out that site!
  10. I was reading Kristy!s great thread about BD shoes and I would like to expand upon that thought and ask all of you what you are wearing, plan on wearing or would wear to your BD shoot. My fab WP is taking me shopping in a few weeks and as a gift they are each buying me one BD outfit (I love them!)... I am kind of stumped on what to get... I know that my last outfit will be my Yankees jersey and hat (FI loves the 'tomboy' in me). For me.. I am absolutely pear shaped so if any of you all have any good suggestions or are pear shaped as well; please tell me your personal opinions or experiences. Thanks!!!!
  11. I love it.. I personally wouldn't cut it off. Maybe do like Erin said and leave it down for the ceremony and bustle it up after.
  12. As of now, the only people that we have booked (put down deposits) are our bridal party, parents and one additional couple (my one BM who backed out of being a BM). For us, that's okay if noone else shows up. We asked them to be in our WP for a reason and if noone else shows up, we will sit them in chairs during the ceremony and FI/I will stand up there alone maybe... If you truly don't like the asthetic of only have a WP in pictures and only having the singular outfit style; then give people the option of standing down. Maybe ask them to do a reading or have some other special place in the ceremony.. Honestly, be prepared if some people are offended. I am not sure how I would feel if a friend or family member asked me to be in their wedding and then as the date approached; asked me to not be in the wedding. I know how much it bothered me when people have backed out of our BP; so I imagine it would feel the same reversed. That being said, if they don't book their trip by the deadline .. then I would ask them if they really want to come and/or be in the WP and assure them it's okay if they are no longer sure they can do it.

We are also doing donations to them for o

  15. Hmmm... Fabric: I don't know if I would go with silk; if they sweat it will show really easily and stick to them. I would go with cotton or as Vira said anything with moisture-wicking properties. Differentiate: I like the idea of short sleeves vs long; but personally I like the long sleeves with the sleeves rolled/pushed up. Looks cute and casual. I would go with FI in one color shirt with or without pattern to go with you (white/ivory or whatever your dress color is) and GM's do another color shirt with or w/out pattern to go with BM's,
  16. Super cute.. great job!! Love it all.. your BM will be so happy.
  17. Both dresses are stunning.. The one you bought looks great on you. Perfect for the beach; I love that it's linen! Great choice!
  18. Perfect!! With hair, yes, that was what I was thinking. I will email Kamila to verify though and post back here when I hear back. I can't wait.. so excited!

  20. Hmm... I think with that dress and hair; you will be completely vintage glam. I would def do as the others ladies suggested; get your hair trial and then go to a bridal store and try on veils. I am also picturing a birdcage veil for some reason with that dress and the look you are going for.. and I can also see what Erin is suggesting with the sparkly hair flower!
  21. I love dress #1 on you.. It is gorgeous and flattering. I saw it and my heart jumped a little for you! =) And if you are really set on a corset back; maybe you can find a seamstress to put one on that dress for you?
  22. Hmmm.. I agree with parts of what everyone said above--- I would do big books for yourself and parents ... most of it wedding stuff (anything you wore your dress for like carly said) and then do a page or two at the end with your favorite week pics (in collage form perhaps) of pics that really show the spirit of your wedding week. I love the idea of mini-books for the WP. I may steal that idea when my time comes!
