There was another wedding at the same time at Presidential. We really didn't even notice them until we started taking pictures. They were just a little ways down from us on the beach. We waved at each other and went on our way. Presidential gazebo is quite private, protected partly by the presidential suites that are intended to be more private. Very pretty and green. Enjoy!

More Intimate Options ??
Mandy replied to MGP's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
Check and see where Matt and Sol got married. They're photographers active on this forum. They posted a lengthy review of their wedding, as well as all the vendors they used. And they should know - they live in the Riviera Maya! -
Dessert Ideas for AHR??
Mandy replied to JessicaM's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
We had tartlets with tropical fruit both at our AHR and wedding reception in Mexico. Tasty! -
Now you know why they didn't bother to plan the trip to your wedding!

We got legally married on my birthday, then had the wedding a few weeks later (on my parents' anniversary). It's the perfect choice for me, because we only plan to celebrate the wedding anniversary, but can privately celebrate our legal anniversary as we celebrate my birthday!

My dress came in!!! *with pics*
Mandy replied to Bride010101's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Beautiful!! But I almost feel like I can't brag too much, because it's so close to mine! You look amazing in it! -
Did any of you or your guests get pretty sick while you were in Mexico for your wedding (or site visit)? We had several people stay in their rooms for days at a time because they were feeling so bad and couldn't leave the bathroom. We have been discussing the possibility of salmonella poisoning from infected tomatoes. I just wondered if anyone else had trouble as well.

That can include menus only (which they will provide if you don't), or in can be menus, votives, table runners, place cards, decorations, candles, etc, etc, etc. It's $5 per person, period. So, I guess if you're going to pay, go all out! I had no idea that they tried to charge us before we left. Thanks for taking care of that, Mom!

Post Your Mom's Dress!

My mom: Isaac's mom (and sister): Isaac's step-mom: -
I agree on the flute player! She was out of control loud, and often not even on tempo with the background music. It took us a good 5 minutes to realize why they had forgotten to turn the recorded music off - she was supposed to be playing WITH it! And yes, the chef does speak at Fuentes, which I could have done without. But still it only lasted a few minutes, as opposed to the entire evening with the dreaded flute player.

This will be our special day that we can combine with my birthday since that will also be my birthday. We will be celebrating our anniversay withhour DW date, but this way we can celebrate both and no one else even has to know. We got legally married on my birthday, too! It was way fun. We had a few family members there who couldn't make it to the wedding, so it was special for them, too. Good call, Abbie! First names are the way to go!

Yay, you're getting married!!! Or maybe you're putting on your wedding dress right now. Or getting your hair done. Or more likely, doing it yourself. Happy wedding day, Mrs. Mike!!!!

It's cute, but I'm already married! Sorry!!

But there is still the $500 fee I talked about as well as mid-way thru my planning they had changed it but still stuck with the original deal we had made! There are more, but I'll let you find them on your own. Search through the Mexico forum. Happy planning!

My runner was Caribbean blue and the gazebo draping was Caribbean blue and aqua. I picked it off of the Lomas, EDR, and Karisma websites. If you will send your coordinator a photo (or a link to a photo) from one of these sites, they will duplicate it. The flowers were "tropical" and I requested that they match my bouquet as much as possible.
