  1. So I'm finally starting to post some of my wedding pics. These were taken by Vanessa Vargas at EDR. Enjoy!

  3. Thanks so much!!! It worked. Now I just have to finish it between work and cleaning up for guests, etc. I'm ready for this reception to be over!
  4. So I just received the pro pics today of my wedding (Wednesday) and our AHR is Friday. I'm trying to put together a slideshow using IPhoto. My problem is with the music. I would like to use more than 1 song, but so far it is only repeating the first song I choose. Any suggestions??
  5. If you're getting married at Gazebo 55, wear your hair up. It's at the very end of the resort and seems to get all of the trade winds. I had only a couple very small strands down, and they were everywhere! But I got some cute photos with DH tucking them behind my ears for me.

  7. I just ordered it, and I'll let you know how we like it!

Welcome, friend! I can't wait to go to Hawaii!!!
  9. I had 2 songs on my CD (I didn't realize I needed 3), so we used my back-up IPod for the 3rd song. No worries at all!

I only wore one b/c it was cheap and I didn't have to look for one (it was on the counter at check-out at a lingerie shop!). DH knew I wasn't going to toss one, so he was surprised when he found it later. Just a cutesy thing for the 2 of us. We're all about making our own traditions.

  12. We're going there in September for a friend's wedding. We will have been married 4 months then, so it will be high time for another trip! We can't wait! We're staying on the North shore.
  13. I went with Las Fuentes after reading over the menu options at both places. The one dinner DH and I had at El Cocotal was quite disappointing.

Mandy you are very blessed to have such a wonderful mommy Thanks! I think so too! We got all the info off the website (and by we, I mean my mom) for the resort. She used normal printer paper. I think she said something about it in an earlier post about it working better with the bound cardstock pages that came in the scrapbook.

  16. I actually spent the morning of our wedding with my husband. I wouldn't change it for the world. After lunch, he went to his dad's suite and was at the wedding site when I arrived to walk down the isle. The resort has lots of practice bringing the bride in and coordinating everything over walkie-talkies.

  18. I did wear a garter at the last minute to my legal ceremony because I found one for like $3 the day of when I was looking for new undies. I absolutely refused to toss it or let anyone but my husband see it. And there was to be no throwing of any flowers. Period. And since I had worn it for our legal ceremony, I wore it again for the wedding in Mexico. Again, DH was the only one who knew.
  19. If you haven't already seen the welcome book my mom made, she's awesome! There's some good EDR info in there that you can download if you're interested. It's on this thread: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t22106
  20. We walked down the isle to this, but it would have been so much better on a live guitar. Wedding Bride Entrance Songs & Music - Lagrima by Francisco Tarrega

If you want the templates, PM me, at least until I figure out how to attach them. Mom, hit Go Advanced, then at the top of the gray box, click on the paper clip icon (next to the smiley). That brings up a new window where you can attach to your heart's content!
