I am SO a believer - I could tell you some stories that would knock your socks off about my mom - totally trippy - you MUST tell us how it went!!

Okay - Dez - 3:24 this morning you were posting! You are nuts girl! I am officially on board! I made a big arse crockpot full of soup! Dang, that recipe makes a lot! I only made half because that's all that would fit in the pot, but I am in! I have the rest of the ingredients to finish the other half in a couple of days. Last night as I was eating the last of the junk before my big "cleanse" I was thinking - dang, this must be what it feels lwhen you know you are going to rehab! LOL I'm in - I got a big container of soup, a big container of cantelope and honeydew and I'm ready to give it a try! Props to you Dez for containing yourself at Carrabas! I cancelled a dinner date on Saturday because I KNOW I don't have the will power - YET. In my early 20's I used to be on a mostly veggie and verry little chicken and seafood diet. I felt so good and really kept my weight down. This may be the direction I am going in again. We'll see what happens! Have a great day ladies!

I think cause cranberry juice cocktail has a lot of sugar. It's only a little of real cranberry juice.

I'm not sure what to do here or if I should do anything at all. My aunt is coming to the wedding. She is openly gay. She had a commitment ceremony to one lady and the relationship dissolved about 4 years ago. Since then she has been dating another lady. They own a house and business together and are exclusive. They have been together for quite some time . For the wedding we are doing corsages for our moms, aunts and one very good family friend (I call her my 2nd MIL). We are doing bouts for my dad, his mom's husband and our uncles who are attending. Should I do something for my aunt's partner? I know what it feels like to be involved in a family and to feel excluded. I want her to feel included, but I'm not sure what to do. If so - a corsage or bout? Should I just call my aunt and ask her? I'm so confused!

Does anyone know where we can buy flowers in bulk in PV? Any local markets? We are doing all of the flowers for our reception. Our WC said it was fine, so I am taking our aqua colored blumeboxes and I wanted to put orange callas with white roses and some with white callas and orange roses. If you get a chance to look at any of the RIU Jalisco threads, there is a pic (I think) on Mel's posts (Raeka) - I am doing all of my bouquets and arrangements the same as Mel's except in white and orange. I didn't even like Callas until I saw her bouquet - after that I was hooked!

OMG that is crazy! That is too close for comfort! I would have to move. Sorry - but that would drive me crazy!

We went to dinner at FI's aunts house and came home. I think the only wedding related stuff I got done was I decided NOT to have my FI's aunt do the corsages for the wedding. I showed her the flowers and supplies I bought and she was like, "I need some tulle to put around the flowers to kind of bunch it up." I was like WTH are you talking about? We had two different visions in two different decades - she was stuck somewhere in 1980 and I was not. LOL!! I also got my 2nd BM's tank top so I can get the tanks done. This afternoon we get our much anticipated home visit from the social worker. After this is over we can hopefully be done with that whole ordeal!

YEP - I second, third, fifth, whatever - the dollar store bag! They are cute and you can spend your money on something else! I do the same thing as you in regards to second guessing. On this one - go with the cheaper bag!

OMG Jamie LYnn, that is NUTS! I hope they get the guy - how brazen! CHeck this out - about two weeks ago my best friend calls me to tell me that she was in one of jer bedrooms folding clothes, and her 2 kids were in the living room playing when this man breaks thru the bedroom window screen and walks into her apartment. He said he was some army seargent and was responding to a domestic call. She calmly talks to this guy and lets him out her front door! Her husband is walking in as the guy was walking out and she tells hubby what happened, he goes out and follows the guy - by chance a sherriff was standing by for an eviction and he tells them the story and they go get the guy! Come to find out this guy lived in the apt complex and had just came back from Iraq and has some serious mental problems. They found him with a back pack full of ID's and jewlery. They ended up catching him and sending him to the hospital on a mental hold and then ship him to North Carolina or somewhere to a mental hospital. The guy had a 3 month old baby at home and the previous week was outside when someone walked by him and said somethng to him and set him off. The guy chased the person around the apt complex. I guess he was a total nut. I was so scared to think of the what if's. People are crazy - you just have to be careful!

Our OOT bags are like the others in that they just have "Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico" with the circle and palm tree - so it's something our guests can use again.

I would say an alligator clip.
